Starting and middle was spectacular and someone killed it in midway
thanks for this comment! Because of this i had really low expectations for the ending episodes and it saved me from huge disappointment!! otherwise the starting and middle of the journey was very engaging. The cinematography, world building and acting were totally worth it.
this is totally my cup of tea and i loved it including the ending, cus it was more Journey of six heroes to me than the ajtl. So im happy the rating didnt take a nose dive after the ending. Will definitely rewatch in sometime
//MAJOR SPOILERS// my thoughts/mood through out last six eps 1. full on waterworks starting with jian zhao and sun lang. I already knew three of them were gonna die but still hurt like a bitch. 2. yuan lu missing nyz twice??? like TWICE!!!!!!! could you be fr T T. When he fell down on the road i thought nyz would pick him T T pls. literally was begging the writer damn. 3. My girl YY a badass girl knows what to do. Im glad atleast yl could see her before he passed away 4. LTG you BIG DUMBO. When he got the news he prioritized convicting the crown prince guy than sending help (like dude u r talkin with th most law defying and selfish fckers out there be fr) 5. totally loved yy putting ltg in his place whenever she could 6. they had a lot of wu country succession plot and lot other plots??? AND decided to FOCUS on ltg's Obsession???????? 7. it was nice to see bitchang not being bitchang (wu empress actress reference). 8. meanwhile thought its better to see the trio die when they did and see that life still goes on. like kinda shows thats how life is and i liked it cus its not just full longing at the last ep which would have hurt more ( btch u thought. i truly was not ready for whats coming) 8. NYZ not confining her in the mrs marquis thingy and letting her glow on her own name! 9. Cried like a btch in the nyz yss drinking scene 10. yss giving "im gonna die in some time" vibes and i was loosin my sht 11. yss....leaves..................................................................................( that was my heart monitor) dont GO ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh poor cy 12. Actually all of em are good actors cus when the bros died one by one, the light in their eyes got dimmer and dimmer to soulless and empty 13. At that point nyz just lost all his fam. To an extension ry did too. that was devasting. When they promised eo to live i was bawlin buckets cus this scene was literally "I WOULD LIVE FOR YOU" like??? that scene had me on chokehold 14. meanwhile YY being the real QUEEN she is. OMG the Character development/ cant be the said the same for you mama obsessed boy 15. oh i forgot that ill kidnap and make her my wife plot (made me loose all the respect for the drama but ill just shsow a blind eye cus its in character and all other stuff in the drama is so good). nyz o nyz had all the patience dealin with thus unruly idiot (i feel like ltg lost all his brain cells after he met ry again) 16. nyz and ry's death was so...dignified? like i am not getting the exact word but its the closest. Usually when the mcs die its in their arms and coughing blood. But nyz and rys death was so in character, and their dynamic as well. he died on battlefield and she died as assassins. At this point i was so amazed by how they died and it took some time for me to process they died. I wasnt sad actually. ..It just felt like the end to a legend of six heroes. they reached their destination. What A Journey huh. 17. the ending i just treated it as a actual epilogue (which it is). cy just seeing things. probably did to soften the blow ig? but for a blow that hard nothing would soften it except maybe reincarnation and season 2 lol. For me personally it ended when nyz ,ruyi died and the war got over. 18. also ltg had the ability to get his head outta his Ass??????/// OMG it just took all of em dyin. // Overall its an AMAZING drama. not for many peoples taste cus of the ending. But i loved it. More than journey to love, It was Journey of SIX heroes to me. And YY!! how could i forget her?? Thank you for the amazing work team. And temporary goodbyes to jian zhao, sun lang, yuan lu, shi san, yuan zhou and ru yi. cus ill just keep missing them for some time. adios!
the actor whos playin yss is good!! like at the heartbeat scene, hes having the playful/ womanizer gaze and then sees her doe eyes and unknowingly loses himself lol.
okay....i was hoping ltg would show signs of redeeming himself in todays episodes but seems like the writers would keep at it the same way.........such character butchering........
