oh, you're probably right. I totally forgot about that, whoops lol

That's what I was telling myself watching this episode. If I hadn't seen how the Thai version developed the relationship more thoroughly, maybe I would have enjoyed this more. The majority of the time I was confused until I realized that this was the last episode for the first couple and that's why they combined some of the scenes. Plus, I feel like the Thai version did a better job (perhaps due to the fact that they had more time) to better flesh out the characters individually and their personalities. Rain was def more of a bratty bottom whereas here, Rei seems more like a submissive type. Not that there's anything wrong with it—again, I agree that if I hadn't seen the Thai version, perhaps this would have seemed like any other new show to me.

I agree. North so far has been my favorite character in the show.

I had to remind myself while watching the latest ep that Johan was known to be a player and is probably not used to starting a long-term relationship. Maybe he doesn't know how to do so. That would explain the middle-schooler-esque flirting of bullying your crush lol. It does seem to be the case that he's also a little socially stunted in general even if he excels in work (aka his attitude to his friends at school + how he treated his friends at the bar)

Title Fourever You
Well, Johan, you can't have it both ways, you know. First you make him think he owes you a lot of money in order…
Same. If I were North, I would be exasperated with the guy. Like?? Be reasonable, my priority of course would be to pay back this insane amount of money and be out of debt /: as a viewer I understand he's doing it to prolong the amount of time North has to be with him, but also don't be an a-hole about it man. If it were me I would definitely not have feelings for a person who is being this illogical—puts me in debt but does everything to stop me from paying it off? As North I would find that weird lol

Yeah, I thought it was ex-lover to new lover at first until they explained it was his brother 😅

are you telling me that that the teacher fell in love with someone who looks like his dead BROTHER??? LOL
I mean, that's exactly why he's having trouble accepting the boy's feelings. He realizes how strange it is probably. He knows it isn't the boy's fault for having a similar appearance but is hesitant because of it. Honestly to me I think they wouldn't look similar at all if the boy just dyed his hair smth else lol.

I suppose it's a green flag in a way that he's pushing the boy away right now since it would be weirder if he was just like HECK YEAH from the beginning and didn't address their similarity instead of having a mental struggle of coming to terms with his feelings + knowing that he has to be careful when accepting a romantic relationship with someone who seems to hang on his every word when the teacher himself isn't in a stable spot.

Same! I feel like there's enough small differences that lets it have its own vibe, but still remaining true to the original. (e.g being in the car instead of the bathroom stall). It still allows viewers who have already seen it to be surprised here and there

I’m not sure, but it might be one of these ?https://wiki.d-addicts.com/Blue_Canvas_of_Youthful_Days_OST
Dang, that's too bad, I'll have to keep an eye out. Hopefully, they'll post the music somewhere international fans can listen to it. Thank you! I appreciate the effort you went through to answer my question c:

Thank you. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any of them on Spotify. Seems they haven't posted the OST there :c

You ain't kiddin'. I can't believe three sad storylines at once. It is very well done though, the music was great…
The ending song was beautiful, it suited the sad scenes very well. I wish I knew what it was 😔 Shazam had no clue so I guess it isn't out yet (?)

Good thing the phone didn't ring while they were hiding!
That's honestly what I thought was going to happen. That, or that the father would come in all of a sudden and interrupt when they were about to kiss...

So I just finished the second episode and I haven't seen anyone talking about this, so I was curious... Am I the…
I also think that the hearing aid situation felt forced, I'm glad I'm not the only one who was uncomfortable with it.

I was both surprised but also not if that makes sense. I had not expected that the older teacher would react that way. Part of me assumed that he would be like "You're fine as you are, your identity is more than just other people's perception about your lack of hearing" or smth similar (because that's how shows tend to frame these types of topics). However, at the same time, I'm not surprised if I look at it from a realistic point of view.

Oftentimes, hearing/able-bodied people expect people with dis/abilities or other modifications/differences in biology to adhere to traditional "normal" standards (in this case, being able to hear). There is a tendency for hearing people tend to assume that people who are deaf/hard of hearing would want to be like them.

I think I am the only one who is watching this drama first time .
No, I am too. I didn't start it until now because I didn't want to start a show that was going to be cancelled. But now that they said that they would continue it I decided to watch it

Thank god the SA scenes weren't as graphic as in the manga.. I was so scared that they are going to portray those…
I was also glad it didn't show much because even with the amount that they did, it was already terrifying. That being said, Abe who plays Yanagida did a great job at making it feel scary for the viewer with his acting. I'm also glad they didn't try to romanticize it o:

I lost it at "I'm homophobic, but I'll give this show a pass" ★★★★☆–my dad 😭 😂
