Madre del verbo!! I had forgotten one of the main reasons why I came to MDL this late at night. It was to tell you I have another drama in which I dislike the female lead and it has nothing to do with the actress... woohoo! Am I on my way to being trendy?? Please smack back to my traditional ways.
The drama is I Miss You, and the main lead is just really driving me insane. I hate her at the moment.

PFT I must have been drunk to write such a superficial comment about TBD&W LOL.... sorry I just can't help being silly at this moment. Combination of wine, and being late at night, and wine, and... yeah, wine again. :p

I had forgotten to wipe my fingers on my blouse after blowing them. Such an important detail could not go untold. *blows her fingers and wipes them in blouse* now where were we? Oh right... I need to hit the sheets. Talk to you tomorrow chingu. Hugs!!

Oh you meant this comment on my wall ^ ^

Okay *blows her fingers* I really never thought of it that way, I thought that they would find each other in Paris but not that they had planned it. However, now that you say this it makes total sense. Perhaps I did think at one point that he knew where she was going, but I never thought they could have planned it together.
However, it is clear they end up together because they are both going to Paris and so they will find each other there. So yeah happy ending!! Yay.

I also was rooting for Min Gi to stay with his partner and he did so I was so happy for both of them.

Overall it was a happy ending, but as I liked Mao a lot I couldn't help but feel regret that he had to live the kind of life he had and end up how he did. Although he wanted it in the end as he was carrying to much of a heavy burden for killing his best friend, Kay's real father.

This quote is the title of the drama Time Between Dog and Wolf, they explain it early on when they go to her gallery for the first time and she has the painting (which my artist eye was not appreciating at ALL lol) also titled Time Between Dog and Wolf, and I think is Min Gi acting up says the quote.

The time when everything can be anything and the world comes together. The time when all things become grey, when they reach the line that divides them. The time good and evil are one. I just love it.
Yin and Yang my chingu, Yin and Yang. Btw which are you? Im yang... which explains my machista attitude LMBO. Nah for real, one day I was bored and found out doing some heavy google search that we have either a yang or yin personality and it tells you what the characteristics are and such fun things ^^

LOL. I think they know deep down that this Kay could be in fact Soo Hyun, but since there was proof that he died in an accident, and Kay is nothing like Soo Hyun was, there are too many questions that are very complicated to answer. I still understand your point of view, and to a certain extent I agree. But I just let myself believe that Kay is so different to Soo Hyun in personality that someone can be fooled. Also, Ari hopes he is the same, deep down she does. ;)

My edu-chan I kept thinking of you every time I came here. Honest truth. Haha.
How are you? I have been here discussing GE with Pretty, and also watching one or two dramas. What are you watching now? I could never get into LeeJunKis drama for some reason, dont know why. Perhaps it was not the right moment for me so I have it on hold for when I do feel like watching it.
Let me know what you are watching or what you plan to watch next, perhaps we can watch something together still. ^ ^

But here we can post as many times as we like and in the thread we cannot post more than two times in a row. I was warned by a dear friend that the mod for the Korean thread was already complaining... this is so stupid.
UPDATE - go post as much as you like in the thread. I got this! *I should have been a lawyer... phew*

Oh so you got there already. Cool. Well that is the only thing that could be considered makjang. But like I said, it is essential to the theme of the story and character development. Also everything that happens in this story is what makes the theme of the story so impressive. People sometimes forget they are watching dramas that from 5 6 years ago, and also that even when certain things are overruled as cliche, there are some stories that carry them well. That said, I hope you continue to have an open mind because even if you dont like the story in the end, Ill be happy to know you gave it a fair try. ;)

BTW I never saw TBD&W as makjang. If I'm not mistaken "makjang" is a plot in which the characters face farfetched circumstances. To put it simply. However, while many can say that TBD&W has one of the biggest cliche in the book and one that falls under the makjang scenario, I think in this case its justified. It's what makes the theme of the drama so incredible. You could never have a TIME BETWEEN DOG AND WOLF without this particular thing that happens... and Ill leave it at this, so that I dont spoil it fully for you. Come back to me when it happens... oh boy, I hope you don't come to hate this drama.

Well you have not answered yet, perhaps you will later? Don't know. But I have a story to tell (how I came to realize we were both talking about the same thing but you from the good side of TJ and I from the bad side of TJ) which ultimately let us to this conclusion, perhaps you always knew this but never expressed it until now. Anyway, I have an interesting story. Should I hold on until you answer me on the thread? Or can I just go ahead and post it here? That is the question. ^ ^

No. This is the point in which we agree, because this morning while driving I was elaborating more on what i have posted in the thread and I came to the conclusion that what we have been missing is to agree that TJ is neither completely good nor completely bad, because he falls in that very line in which it all becomes blurry. Which is something I have been trying to convey but have not done properly because I myself had to think and do some good analyzing to get to this simple conclusion. If you get what I mean. It was always there, but I made it more complicated than it should have been.
So my mistake was to sat he was a bad guy when in reality he is neither. I totally agree on this, and I have to thank you for letting me come to terms with TJ because I really love this guy but I could not allowed myself to express it fully because of his bad deeds.
I think it would be interesting to analyze if in fact this is a default or not. However it would be very long and we can just go ahead and live knowing that we both came to the same conclusion even though we still don't see things exactly the same, but that is completely fine with me chingu. I come to love people for what they bring into my life and not what we have similar. ;)
Now Im off to read your answers.

And by the way, after discussing with you I have come to see TJ in a less extreme way. Believe it or not, discussions help. ;)

My friend I took time and answered you again. I don't think is a matter of agreeing, but a matter of understanding each other right. You think I have said TJ was evil with little good in him, and that the writers went for that too, but I never said that. Evil is a very strong word and TJ was never that. If you still which to read my thoughts which are every time less and less elaborated, then please do so and don't leave me hanging. <3

Yes. I plan on watching Hanzawa Naoki, and I would love to watch it together. hahaha.

I was going to tell you that Dog & Wolf can be one of those drama you dont really care for because, one: Lee Jun Ki overacts in some scenes to the point you want to punch him, but I still loved the way he played the character overall and actually his character in this drama is one of my favorite characters of all times. Two: production is low for a spy drama, however this drama was first than any of the spy dramas that are going around like City Hunter and IRIS and Athena's and so on. It was said this drama open the ways of the spy world for these other mentioned above. Three: It's and old drama, and although there are some dramas that don't belong to the bunch, this one in particular is part of a set of dramas that like to play the stories of the young romance that later separates and finds each other again when adults and so on... the two first episodes are when he is a child but even though at the time I was sick and tired of the "young romance" prologue, when I first watched this one I was actually drawn into the story because of what happens to his mother and how these kids are oblivious to this world of spies yet everything is happening right there in front of their eyes.

Having said all of THAT!! lol I fell in love with the theme of this drama and it was - among other details that we shall discuss when you get to them - what made it a number one drama for me. The Time Between Dog & Wolf; the meaning of this phrase was well portrayed in Lee Jun Ki's character. I have to say the writers knew what they were doing at all times.
