Oh my god. Even Koh apologised in advance because he knew it was wrong. I'm an artist myself, and no, we are not…
Thanks for explaining and thinking my comment was outrageous, honestly, I think that is cool.
You are correct, I cannot relate to Jira in this episode. I saw Koh was excited about something he created and I think Jira responded in a way that I could not relate to at all.
For me, I would actively volunteer to create art with someone this way. I thought it was cool and I cannot relate to how Jira reacted. To me it was an overreaction, a knee-jerk reaction in the moment and not thought through.
It is not absurd to have an opinion on a character's reaction in a series. My opinion may differ from yours, but calling it absurd is kind of rude and judgmental and not very empathetic towards me. (See what I did there) haha.
Jira is a hard character to like or have empathy for, as are also Pheem and Koh.

I am unsure why you are sounding angry at me? I gave my honest opinion on what I saw in the show and I have no problem with AI as a new medium for art. There are famous artists out there now using AI and getting critical acclaim for it because their art is unique and beautiful and they are creating it using AI. Art is subjective. You have your opinion on what art should be and I have my opinion on art and what is acceptable or not acceptable. Koh, is the only one who bought Jira's art and honestly, I am not the biggest fan of whoever drew those pictures for the series, they are okay, but not really my taste. I think Koh overpaid for them. Also people have been using other people's art to create their own for centuries now, just look at the Last Supper for example and you will find that image has even been recreated using dogs in place of people which I find adorable. The Mona Lisa has had so many makeovers over the years by other artists and their interpretations of it I have lost count. The same can be said for TV commercials that have used the statue of David and Dali's melting clocks, people's art has been bastardized for a long time now. So no, I see no reason to get upset over the use of AI helping people to create new forms of art from old ones.

Mawin's honest feelings, rubbed raw from neglect and delivered through tears under the guise of an audition, were…
"Croutons on my salad" I am stealing that line. Thank you!

I find it interesting that Koh came up with his way to make art (and money) and as an artist Jira should try to understand him, but instead was offended. I have seen people create art from just about everything and art has so many mediums and, AI is another form of art. I mean Art evolves with the times and right now we are at the infancy of AI and what all it can do. I see nothing wrong at using AI as a medium to create works of art. I see short films on YouTube that are using AI generated characters and I find those short films fascinating. I would think if someone is an artist, they would appreciate what Koh has invented/created because it can be used in so many ways. I can see not liking or appreciating this type of art (because it is impossible to like every piece of art ever created) but to get righteous and indignant towards another person who you claim to love over their expression of art is a bit hard to fathom for me. Koh used Jira for his opinions on two pictures, then used those images to create a picture. I am still unsure why Jira got so upset. Koh was only using that as an example of what he invented/created. Not sure, other than the acting scene between Mawin and Pheem, what the purpose of this episode was about and at the end of the day, I am not liking Jira so much. For an artist, he is not very open minded to new ideas.

I like your theory about Pufai still being alive, but if she is still alive, then I do not think she is doing…
Further down in the comments someone mentioned that the guy Tonkla hit with the car might not have died, because on Tonkla's letter it said "you almost killed me." I missed that tidbit in the show. It could be the guy he hit with the car or like you said earlier someone related to the hit and run and He is working with someone in the group. It actually makes sense that the hit and run guy did not die and that can be covered up with money, but a death related to a hit a run with a stolen car (it was not Tonkla's car) that could not be covered up as easily. I am with you, I think I need to re-watch to see if I missed anything else.

Time's dad is also a cop and where has Time been? So far Puifai died, Tar killed, Bell killed and now Tonkla. That leaves Champ, Jay, Cher and Time as main suspects from group. 2nd string suspects are Puifai still alive, acid girl, random girl (if there was one or I am just delusional) and going out on a limb now, what about that weird drug guy who Jade has busted twice now, could he be connected, could his father have been the one killed by Tonkla in the crash and he just pretends to be this pathetic, cowardly drug user? hahaha So fun to speculate!

Too twisted for me, never! Too twisted for GMMTV, yes. It could turn out that Jay knows something more about Puifai and the gang or catches Puifai alive and keeps that to himself for a bit, I can see that as a scenario. Not many left still alive in the friends group to say it is one of them at this point and what could be the reason, but I also have another theory, that the reason for the mask, is maybe this is the girl who was burned with acid on a revenge quest. Also, was there another girl in the group, sort of a hanger on type, I cannot remember exactly who that was

I am not a fan of Champ either, too much attitude, but I am unsure if he is actually helping Pufai kill anyone. I think he is too much of a coward for that, but he could know she is alive and killing off the group, but keeping his hands clean. Cher, now she could be helping Pufai if Pufai is still alive or she could be doing it herself. I am not ruling her out yet as the killer or the one to have helped stage Pufai's death. Jay is definitely the wild card in all this, but I could be way off on that. Anyways, it is fun to speculate!

The conspiracies are rolling around in my head. Its Pufai.... she didn't really die but took that drug that slows…
I like your theory about Pufai still being alive, but if she is still alive, then I do not think she is doing this alone. She could either be working alongside Champ or maybe Cher. Champ absolutely is hiding something, maybe he and Jay are having an affair because I also think Jay is not as innocent in all this as he seems.

So many ways this series can go in the next couple of episodes and I'm definitely here for it. Not much actually happening in the series, but the film noir vibe, the music, the shades of grey characters (and not to mention Off nearly naked in all episodes) makes this whole series captivating, intriguing and unique.

Title That Summer
I was not a fan of Winny/Satang, but this show made me a believer. The series is an easy watch and honestly not much happens, but all the characters and pairings are perfect with lots of chemistry. Sometimes all I want is an entertaining BL and this one hits all the right spots! Plus, the song choices are fantastic and the scenery is really nice. Oh and Winny's freckles need their own fan page here on MDL, they are soooo adorbs!! I hope he never covers them again with make up!!

Funny actually because Fah becomes a therapist himself post-graduating in the novels and plays quite a big role…

I do not give two sh*t's about the novel, this was a critique of the show. I have said this before and I will say this again, if I have to read a novel to know what is going on in a show, then the director and screenplay writer did a lousy job of it. Have a great day! :0)

Episodes 1 and 2 were good, but 3-5 is a snooze fest. They dragged out the whole gift exchange for 3 episodes now when it could have been condensed to a montage of super short scenes that could have just had the days captioned instead over this incredibly boring 2 months time frame in which absolutely nothing happens. I guess they have to fill 8 episodes, but I highly recommend watching episodes 1 and 2 and then go directly to 5, trust me, you will not miss anything if you do. On a side note, Phoon really needs intense therapy. It is a disservice to portray a character so damaged and try to make us believe that all he needs are superficial friends (because if they were real friends, they would encourage Phoon to seek therapy) and a love interest to repair the years and years of trauma/torture his family heaped on him. Show him going to therapy and getting stronger by asking for help and this could send a message to anyone watching this show who is struggling with mental health issues that it is okay to seek help. This chapter with Fah and Phoon is super disappointing.

that's just their dynamic, mabye read the novels before getting annoyed at a show? (especially such a well/accurately…
If I have to read a novel to understand a show or its characters than the director is doing a lousy job.

Title Head 2 Head
This show was okay. The main problem is the lack of chemistry between the leads. Honestly, if you are going to star in a BL and there are intimate scenes, the kisses really need to look real. If this show was made 10 years ago or longer then chemistry might have been acceptable, but with so many LGBTQ shows and movies out there where actors/actresses are not inhibited by kissing/intimate scenes and they understand their assignments when hired for the job, these lead actors in this show are sorely lacking in understanding their roles of being in love and it shows when it comes to their chemistry. I would rather there were no intimate/kiss scenes than the ones we got, cause it was super uncomfortable and a cringe to watch how uncomfortable they were with each other. Lips barely touching or clenched tight is a total turn off. GMMTV is like the Hallmark movie channel, where everything and everyone is sanitized to the point of being sexless with just a few exceptions. If you are going to have couples like this in series, then the story itself needs to be exceptional and I am sorry to say this story lost steam half way through and never recovered.

I will miss this drama when it ends next week. It was such a comfort with all the dramas out there with so much angst, horror and super toxic leads, this was a breath of fresh air.

I actually think Koh and Pheem would have more chemistry than Jira and Pheem. I feel zero chemistry between Jira and Pheem because 1. Jira isn't into Pheem at all and really wants Koh, he just has not admitted it yet fully to himself. 2. Pheem has ulterior motives for wanting Jira or he would not have called some random chick to have sex with if he was actually wanting/needing Jira. He wants him only as a conquest and whatever he feels is toxic.

Maybe whatever is in Koh and Pheem's past can be forgotten and the two of them can get together using the age-old BL trope of overcoming a teenage/young adult misunderstanding and finding love again.
