still it was so stupid, it was inside the palace, they should have looked around and checked
Yeah, and his father wasn't very far way from them, but if the script says: "kiss under the spotlight without even looking around" so there they go haha so careless
Why does ep 14 make me feel like we missed an entire episode in between?
Yes and this kind of thing have been happening since the beginning but in this ep the gap was HUGE, the way of editing scenes make me confuse , the way they present flashbacks sometimes is also more confusing than enlightening.
I think the flashbacks were part of hwi/ dami's memory not jiwoon's . I can't believe he didn't find any resemblance…
Well pointed, it might be her memories and this make much more sense, but if Jiun have had recognized her before it would not fit those scenes like on today's ep (12) when he saw her using a dress and kept thinking she was a boy dressed as a girl. Let's see what happens from now on
Same point came in my mind also how did he forget her ...there is holes in a story. Maybe they create suspension…
The thing that a bunch of people around her already know is getting too repetitive hahaha Even when Jiun saw Lee Hwi as a girl he kept genuinely thinking that Lee Hwi was a boy using a disguise
I've just finished watching #TheKingsAffectionEp12 and I have to say that the huge amount of flashbacks before the kiss scene confused the audience to believe that Jiun found out at that moment that the Prince was a girl, but in fact Jiun only found out that "he" was a "she" when Dami/Yi Hwi took off her clothes to let him know...
Man, Jiun has amnesia or what?? He saw her in the hunt -HOW - did not he remeber her till now???? hahaha
You want 10/10 for this series ? I guess you don't watch any good dramas do you?If it's 10/10 what about Law school…
hahaha It's just my simple opinion and yeah I have watched or those ones you said and they are great as well, people have different opinion on stuff so that's fine.
Ga On found a home in the Kang family, but Soo Hyun is the most important for him. He built a relationship with…
I don't know if it's true but I read somewhere that this show was also inspired in Beauty and the Beasty from Disney, there are some scenes really similar like the Window scene.
[Sorry in advance for my bad English, this is not my first language] This review took the words out of my mounth, thank you! The show was a big 10 but the last ep was a 8 because of that aspect of how they simply separeted CJ and BH not respecting all the things they lived togheter and the LOVE built and shared for months. The sping off seems to have been done just to make us believe in that 20th ep,to make us believe that CJ was in love for SY since always what is not true as we see how deeply he hated the queen (and was in love for his concubine) and would had killed her if it wasn't BH changing things and make a room for him/her in the palace.
BH cared so much for their baby that he even started to educate him/her. When he wrote, the caligraphy was BH's modern calhigraphy and not delicate as SY caligraphy might be. At the last eps I don't recall seing BH's soul wishing to go home in XXI, no, he accepted his new life bit by bit (and even so I knew/had sure he would eventually get back to the future). It would be completely natural showing him missing the past, he did fell in love for the king and that was a big point through the show that just the çast ep and the spin off can't erease easily.
That scene where SY's soul totally sinks in the lake was so ??? for me, I undertood that she had completely gone, if this wasn't in the main show I would accpet better the theory that both souls kept in the body all that time.
Plus: the poem/letter where the King said he wish they could walk side by side togheter opened space for a CJ's soul reincarnationg reunion with BH in the future plot. Now that possibility exist only in our minds (and fanfics) hahaha
Besides this matter, I love this show so much, it was SO much fun, the fandom is also very nice and polite, it have become one of my fav kdramas from all times even with this messed up relationship end for the leads.
For me the Top 3 are: Flower of Evil, Hospital Playlist (it has no flaws but it's not 100% my style) and It's Okay Not to be okay (the only 'bad' part was the vilan final plot and explanation).
