Idk the exact volume, but I've heard there are kisses and even smut in the manga. I don't know for sure though. Rest assured there will definitely be a kiss in CMTH. It's a gmmtv bl and that too with TayNew. They know fans won't spare them if they don't make them kiss in a show that they did together after 4 years.

Also, Adachi in the Japanese version was really very stiff. He didn't look genuinely in love with Kurosawa. It looked like he was giving in to Kurosawa's feelings out of gratitude. In Thai version Achi genuinely adores Karan.
Whenever I think of a show as a disaster I immediately stop watching it to keep my brain cells intact. But you, on the other hand sound lowkey obsessed. You think it's boring but still choose to tune in and spew shit over here almost every week. Just do yourself a favour and stop torturing yourself. You're biased and won't appreciate the details and nuances added to your fav version whatsoever. This version is closer to the manga and just simply more sentimental. You know people have different tastes right? I was bored to death watching the Japanese version too, but did I go on and say shit about it on it's page? No. Cause why would anyone care if I didn't like it? You get my point? Stay mad. We don't care.

Nope. In the manga Achi struggles during the dating period as he has zero experience in romance. Achi also tells Karan about his magic. I really don't wanna give more spoilers cause idk if they'll include it in the series but they do get engaged and married.

That's why Thai version hits harder. 10/10 for nailing Karan's pov.

I have no words. This episode was beyond beautiful. I cried, I smiled, I felt the warmth oozing out of the screen. I thought Karan liked Achi for a year or two, little did I know my man was in love with him for seven years!! The best episode so far. The chemistry was off the roof. So well acted. So well shot. The hug in the end made my heart swell. All hearts <3

I'm just the opposite. Don't care about the side characters at all. Pai and Rock are cute but JintaMin get on my nerves for some reason. I'm watching this show as a TayNew stan so I have a bias. I won't disagree with what you said about Achi though. His character seems inconsistent. He's even more unlikable in the manga. Atleast in CMTH Achi had consistent growth until the beginning of the 5th ep. They're not entirely following the manga, he's really annoying in that. Anyways I think there's more to the confession scene. Maybe Karan will take it back or say something else? You never know with episode endings. They tend to leave us hanging and then things turn out to be way different than what we expect. Let's see what happens. I'm sure Achi's character will be redeemed. And if we go by the preview of the 6th ep, Achi seems to be running after Karan to tell him that he likes him back.

Yes Thai version will cover all 12 volumes so there's a high chance they'll include those events. I'm not sure about the wedding though but we might get the engagement.

Thai version is not a remake. Their source material is the manga, not the Japanese series. And they're covering 12 volumes. Japanese version covered 6.

I'm a Cherry Magic TH defender but I agree with you somehow. I don't like the 2nd couple at all and I think they took up way too much screentime this time so I won't say anything about that. For me Tsuge's character will remain unlikable in every universe.

Yes, the way Achi treated Karan in this episode felt so out of character. And that too after he seemed to have caught feelings in the previous episode. He feels safe around Karan and doesn't mind being treated special by him then why tf did Achi sideline him this entire ep? Taking off without Karan in the ferry is still acceptable but taking Rock to that moonping place was so off putting. Wasn't that supposed to be a secret spot? Why is he telling everyone about it. Karan felt so special when he told him :( Achi's character is super confusing. I'm not mad about the confession scene though. It did catch me off guard but with the way Achi tested Karan's patience throughout the epi, I kinda saw that coming. As you mentioned, the confession isn't complete yet. Maybe there's more to it which we'll get to see in the next ep. But Achi's character needs serious redemption after all the shit he pulled by giving all his attention to Rock. New said the 6th episode will be a turning point since we're halfway through the story now. I'm hoping it's something exciting and fulfilling.

Yes I know gmmtv bls usually have more than one couple. But look at Last Twilight, 90% of every ep has only JimmySea. There is a 2nd couple but they're barely given much importance. GemFourth have more than 3 bls coming out this year. What I'm basically trying to say is that other fandoms either have quality(JimmySea in LT) or quantity (GemFourth, OffGun etc) and us polcas have none. We finally get a show from TayNew after more than 4 years and this is what we're getting. It's so frustrating :( you might think I'm overreacting but as a polca this is irritating.

I got upset while watching the 5th ep too because I waited 4 years to see TayNew together in a bl. They deserved so much hype but the show had to get removed from youtube. Most people are watching it illegally so the support they deserve isn't reaching them. And now the 2nd leads with their shit is eating up screen space. Cherry Magic TH means a lot to me as a polca. I reallyyyy hope the upcoming episodes are full of KaranAchi or I'll lose it.
