the 1st ep was perfect!! i hope all those who had there doubts on this series think so as well. they've added more details and i loved every second of it. karan's thoughts were so damn cute, specially the visions lol and achi was such an adorable mess. i cannot wait for next week. taynew are doing justice to their roles as far as i can see. i love tay tawan so freaking much and i can't help but fall even more after seeing him as karan. he's so kind and loving i'm gonna cry!

the trailer was good tho? they even included some romantic moments which the jp version totally lacked. i've watched the jp version and i think tay & new have the potential to live upto the expectations. i do agree with you on the cliché thingy. new gave cringey expressions at some instances. it's a thai thing i think. almost every thai show that i've seen had some cringe stuff going on. i think that's how they try to make it funny. as you said, the directors are to blame. but i'm sure tay would be an amazing karan cause he has good acting skills and his character doesn't have any cringe moments. the 2nd half of the trailer had some really cute moments between them which i'm really excited to watch. i'm rooting for taynew as always cuz i absolutely adore them.

it's so annoying to wait now. can't believe i'm the same person who waited for dbk to release for an entire year. i've been a taynew stan since kma. was sad to see offgun thriving while my ship was on the verge of sinking. never thought that gmmtv will revive taynew again after 4 long years. i'm so fucking grateful!

I think PeteKao's storyline in KMA l was nice. Who cares about the rest of the leads. I only watched PeteKao cut and it wasn't bad at all. I love enemies to lovers trope. Although my opinion might be biased cause I'm a sucker for anything that has TayNew in it.

I suggest you should watch Kiss Me Again to see how Pete and Kao become boyfriends. An enemies to lovers trope shouldn't be missed and that too with a lead pair that has great chemistry. I believe watching two people fall in love is more fun. It only makes their loving relationship in DBK more likeable cause Pete and Kao hated each other's guts in KMA lol

you should watch kiss me again before watching dbk as kma tells you how pete and kao go from enemies to lovers and it's really cute. in dbk, they're already boyfriends so you won't be able to see the build up. it's more about how they tackle the hardships of being a closeted gay couple.

exactly! the jp version was cute but the lack of intimacy made it look bland and unrealistic. the trailer of thai version looks promising. we could see glimpses of a lot of cute moments. the kiss on the nose had me weak in the knees. idc about bed scenes either but kisses, cuddles and hugs are an important part of a relationship and directors shouldn't shy away from showing that. can't wait to see taynew being soft with each other 😭

i watched the japanese adaptation ages ago so i don't remember much of it and i'm thankful for that. i can now watch the thai one without an ick to compare. i used to be a huge polca around the kma and dbk era. i didn't realise how much i missed taynew before watching the trailer. it looks super soft and mushy unlike dbk, which was more on the dramatic side. tay tawan as a kind-hearted whipped guy is gonna be the death of me!!
he shares great chemistry with new. they look so cute together idc what others have to say i'm hella hyped for this show. i hope it gives taynew the comeback they deserve. WE'RE SO BACK, POLCAS!!!

Well then you should try watching Kiss me again and dark blue kiss. TayNew do share really good chemistry together. Idk if they'd be able to do justice with the characters in cherry magic though coz the outcome not only depends on the actors but also the directors and the screenwriters. I used to be a huge bl fan earlier and a taynew follower too but I eventually grew out of it. Coming across the news of their comeback as an onscreen couple is such a pleasant surprise. I never thought they'd ever work together in a bl again. It feels great looking forward to see them working together again after years. The nostalgia hits really hard. I hope they keep it subtle and cute. Thai bls tend to overdo everything. This is probably the last time they'd be seen together onscreen, I want this to be special 🥺

I was someone who usually preferred taking DBK's side whenever I saw people complaining about PeteKao's parts. But now I can't help complaining myself. Why the hell are they not showing any development? The story is baseless I agree, blame the author. Who writes such stupid plot? A kid? Like literally a kid is up for messing up with their relationship oh god spare me! A madly in love but overly possessive Pete? A gutless Kao who just wants to be good no matter what! He can't come out to his mother bcz he wants to be a good son. He can't ask Pete to calm the f*ck down bcz he wants to be a good boyfriend. Stop lying to everybody Kao for god's sake. Wattpad ffs are way better than DBK novel. And it seems like the team also didn't put much effort in making it look more interesting and captivating. Kiss me again didn't have a great story either. The same author huh. But the execution was pretty good. TayNew's chemistry was well utilized. The characters were justified. The cuteness, the fights, the kisses were good. But here, they're ruining it. The boys have so much potential but the director failed to get the most of them. It's disappointing. 3 eps are gone already but nothing actually happened. Only SunMork are the ones who are progressing. I am not at all into that couple bcz the pairing is not according to my taste. I watched this show solely for PeteKao but it hurts seeing how tasteless their parts are. Their encounters are cute and all but what do we do of the cutesy shit? Give us more. Some depth, some more story anything.. something atleast. They are TayNew how can they just be used like fillers? It's heartbreaking. This is probably the last time we're getting to see them together for I don't think they'll be asked to work together after being casted together so many times already. Dbk was supposed to be special. It hurts man it hurts so much seeing my boys' potential getting wasted like that. Such a good BL couple they make. I wish they didn't bother making dbk if this is what we get. Kiss Me Again was enough. C'mon dude we waited for a whole year.
Also, when the story is bland, you gotta add some spice to it. Maybe some hot stuff lmao. They ain't giving us that either. There's probably just one kiss. What is this dude.

I was looking forward to the angst and drama to see how PeteKao manage to stay together despite the hurdles but the pace is brutally slow. It has killed all the excitement. Couldn't have been more disappointed. Kudos to all SunMork shippers though. You guys are lucky. They're stealing the show. I wish I could like them just so that i could enjoy something about DBK. But I can't. Sad life! Huh.
