another one that didn't understand the point of showing them already dating in ep 1...
I did understand the part I'm just being unserious. You don't have to take everything so seriously, it's pretty clear in my comment that I'm making a light hearted commentary so chill out, lol
I personally loved JuniorMark in Cherry Magic too, I saw all the series they were in when the series were airing…
Actually Jinta's character in cherry magic gave me so much ick lol I know he was supposed to be cringey but I found it off putting and that was the first time I saw Junior so I didn't really bother. I was mainly focused on TayNew, they were doing a bl after years afterall hehe. But then I somehow bumped into a perfect 10 liners edit and saw how cute JuMark looked so I gave just their story a try and omg they just won me over with the natural chemistry!! Yes!! They have a certain spark that seems effortless like it's just there, everything just clicks ugh I love them!! They're killing in my romance scammer too. I'm excited for their next project(twenty one) already haha
when it comes to Yu and North that’s the whole point North was impulsive Yu only accepted the marriage cause…
Yeah I get that but in episode 4, Yu and North's scenes are quite rushed. I feel like the editing as well as direction could've been way better. It's not entirely OhmPoon's fault, the scenes sometimes feel disconnected and too fast paced to feel anything. That's what I'm pointing towards. Maybe the next episodes won't be as sloppily edited. Yes, TimPai are already dating for a year but their dating era was fast paced too, we went from first meeting to marriage proposal (a whole year) in just half an episode and yet they feel so natural as if we really saw them dating for a year( we never did hehe)
JuniorMark as TimPai look natural and there's continuity and things are actually understandable and not confusing like YuNorth. The direction could've been way better with OhmPoon. They're a new pair afterall. I think they didn't do OhmPoon justice with the choppy editing and rushed scenes. Nothing feels genuine. I can't tell if Yu is falling in love or just pretending because there is no clear demarcation between his emotions and that's bad direction because with Tim we can easily tell when he's getting concerned about falling for Pai and failing to keep his facade at times. There's also much difference of chemistry and organics between the two couples.
I didn't know JuniorMark will grow so much on me. I found them meh in Cherry Magic but they were amazing in perfect 10 liners, I don't even like such cliché college setting but their chemistry there was so surprisingly sizzling so I watched only their parts. And they're proving to be really good in this show as well. I never thought I'd start liking them this much but I really do. I hope they keep growing because dare I say their chemistry is so much better than certain overhyped gmmtv ships huehuehuehuehue (don't come at me)
I'm so glad to know we don't have to wait too long for You Maniac! I missed watching WilliamEst on screen so much especially after Me and Thee. Their story left so much to desire there. I needed moreeee. Btw they're both so beautiful I can't stop staring ugh such pretty pretty people ❤️
I'm only on the 1st episode and it feels like I'm already on the 12th ep lol it started with Tim and Pai meeting for the first time to them dating for over a year and a proposal?? And wtf YuNorth are already married??? I can't lmao North deserves to be scammed he's a dumbass lol
I FREAKING KNOW RIGHT. THE ONLY PROPER BLS THESE TWO HAVE ARE "Dark Blue Kiss" and "Cherry Magic"…
Exactly!! And even with that DBK was just a sequel of already known characters so the build up and tension was already shown in KMA. Cherry Magic was a remake with broadcasting issues and geoban. It's like us taynew stans can never catch a break!
everyone who reviewed this show should put their ages in the reviews because no way this is 8.6 stars? since when…
Tell me about it!! I don't understand the hype around this show despite all the toxicity, mind games and manipulative tactics just to get someone to sleep with you? Yikes! I gave it a 6 only and only for the 2nd couple, idk I liked the softness and how sweet and patient Cheng Yu was with the doctor. The main leads suck big time!
I hate the fact that taynew only have this bl coming out this year which is from the 2025 line up. I thought after canceling Replay, gmmtv will give them another bl for 2026 but so far they haven't and I don't think they will. It's so hard to be a polca because despite being one of the oldest ships in gmmtv they have done lesser bls than their juniors. The divorce era, the drought era, the geo ban, the delays and now a canceled show. What a shame! Feels like a curse atp.
I agree. This was a joy to watch. I wish it had been longer and/or they had done a second season. Whwnever I get…
I can't agree more!! I've watched a very few Taiwanese bls but yes many japanese and korean ones and all 3 countries mostly produce shows that actually care about delivering substance instead of picking up pretty looking kids and put them in just another school/college premise and make them act and sing even if they can't do any, and then capitalize the shit outta them after their ship goes viral. Thai media especially gmmtv pisses me off with their 30+ shows a year thingy. The quantity over quality stuff annoys me to no end. I've grown picky over the years too. Once the frontal lobe develops I think you just can't deal with forced chemistry and lack of material in the story. I think this is the first year where I'm excited to watch 3-5 shows from gmmtv because I like the chemistries between the couples in them. 2 of them are from previous year's line up that didn't get to release yet. I've stopped criticising shows that I don't like over here because you say one bad thing and the die hard thai bl/shipper fans start to attack you like it's a crime to not like their fav's show. Criticize the bad acting and lack of chemistry - you're a hater. Criticise the plot and undeserved high ratings - you're jealous. Not just gmmtv, any thai media can't be criticized without getting unwanted negative attention from blind supporters and people with bad taste. These adolescent fangirls are the reason gmmtv gets away from giving some of the worst shows and bad ships. They know their fans will eat up whatever shit they provide. I only comment on shows and ships I like and feel natural chemistry and have completely stopped giving a single negative review on shows I disliked. Peace of mind above everything lol

Ikr?? The chemistry is so effortless unlike some dramas where it feels so forced and the storylines are mostly repetitive. The thing that I like most about Japanese bls is that they tell the story through the eyes and silence more so than words. It's much more captivating to me as a grown adult. It's so subtle and the plots are always pretty fresh in every show. I need more such shows :(
Why is the rating so low this was so good and the chemistry was so sweet. They handled the age gap stuff really well, deserves 8.5 atleast. The way Togawa was yearning oof I really liked it!
