I did not expect it to be this good. Everything was well laid out. The acting was great, the tension was palpable, the politics was realistic, the grief and loss felt personal- all in all a fantastic series. I cried so hard in the last 2 episodes. More people should watch this! I hope BOC continues to make such thought provoking and grounded shows. There were no "useless" nc scenes, every such scene was meaningful and that really added to the charm of this show. Not to mention the cinematography was also super good, so aesthetic.

I get you, but if that was enough to love someone the world wouldn’t be facing any heartbreaks. Victor was a great character but I personally didn't feel the chemistry because he was a student and Trin was his professor/senior. The dynamic didn't make me feel that they need to be together at any point. He was super young so it's understandable that he got infatuated but that doesn't mean Trin, as a grown adult, had to reciprocate his feelings.

As much as I'd love to watch actual bls with such strong plots, I honestly don't even blame the actors for prefering bromance over bls because we know how toxic it gets when fans start taking the ship too seriously. Who would want to deal with all that drama and be kept under constant scrutiny. With bromance they get to do their jobs and enjoy the attention too it's much easier that way. Labelling people as homophobic/queerbaiter and stuff is so out of line and stupid. As if all the fan service the fixed couples do is true love? All 50 couples in gmmtv are in love? Lol. People take everything too seriously these days. It's so much easier to just sit back and enjoy rather than passing judgement on everyone. More people should do that.

Idk about queerbaiting but one thing I can say is that they clearly showed some lingering gazes and tension in the trailer but made it about friendship so yeah they want the shipping but without the bl label. The plot is great I'll definitely tune in but let's not fool ourselves gmmtv knows exactly what it's doing. I'm not saying they should do a bl or become a ship but it's quiet obvious in the trailer itself that they want the fans to ship them but never get the real deal just like skynani. Gmmtv figured out what edging is and is milking the shit outta it lol I don't take such things seriously despite being queer myself because at the end of the day it's pure entertainment and they do make a whole bunch of bls and even repeat ships to keep the fans happy and hooked.

Complaining about representation to a company that already runs on fixed pairs and fanservice is hilarious. It was never ethical or ideal from the get go. Fan service is taken to a point that when they even breath around someone else they get canceled. But no one complains about that. Loving a ship is fine but a lot of fans also fantasize about their fav ship being real which itself is toxic and invasive, even get into fanwars and then want the company to be answerable for bromance and queerbaiting it's amusing.

This is the first PondPhuwin show I've watched. I didn't feel like watching their previous shows because of the mixed reviews. I'm kinda picky but I found their ship very attractive so I was waiting for them to do something more substantial. Instead, got this extravagant wattpad coded "ceo falls for his humble employee rom com" and I'm actually glad that I started with this one because everyone said they have improved a lot from their older shows and it wasn't bad at all. Made me laugh a lot. Felt like there was some awkwardness here and there though but it was overall a fun watch. Alongside the comedy, there were a good number of wholesome moments too.

I liked Mok's character the most tho idk Est looked so attractive in that bodyguard persona his aura was just so 🥵 I wanted them to show a bit more of Rome and Mok but alas! The tension between them was hot. Thee buying the entire gmmtv in the end just sent me 😭 he's definitely topping the most unhinged gmmtv characters list lol

Ikr? OffGun hit different in darker themes I always love watching them in heavy shows the lighthearted ones mostly turn out to be repetitive.

I think the bleakness of Khem's character affected his chemistry with the shaman for me. It's my perception btw I tend to get turned off by characters that lack personality and act too cutesy or feminine. If they're sassy I grow a liking but if they have nothing else to offer except being a scaredy cat... meh!

Good to know, actually. The Shaman is super hot and Khem was cute too but chemistry wise I liked the 2nd couple better they felt very natural.

That one scene in the pilot trailer was a jumpscare man it was kinda graphic. So happy that OffGun got another serious show though. I tend to like them more in such dark and thrilling genre rather than romcoms. Not Me is one of my favs. Can't wait!!
