No one ever said this show is bromance though. Really. When SkyNani were asked about the relationship of the characters in the show before it was released, they did not actually reveal it because they did not want to spoil too much by saying soulmates, all they could say was "it's a different kind of relationship, something you get only when you watch the drama". There was never an implication that they were supposed to be just friends or whatever. Even the director said that NiranPete's relationship is a very strong bond, never described it as bromance. This tag is actually harming the show a lot because everyone views it through the lens of bromance or bl and it's neither of them. Hsf was tagged as bromance and it was actually about friendship. NiranPete are not just friends, neither are they exclusively boyfriends. Not every relationship needs a tag and that's okay. We can define it as we like. What you and I have interpreted is exactly what the makers want. It's upto us.

I'd say I'm enjoying the show more compared to the novel. I'm just reading the novel parts after watching each episode, so I don't spoil it for myself. I modified this excerpt a bit to make it easy to understand because the translation is kinda confusing in some places.
