Thank you for this. I'm currently finishing the first episode and story has a potential to be interesting, Li Hong Yi is great, as always, his character appealing. But right now I find FL terrible annoying. Mostly her character, i haven't decided about the actress yet. Does her character become more mature in the future?

At this moment there is 91,2% for SUBBED and 8,8% for DUBBED. Personally, always for SUBBED. Cant stand Chinese historical character speaking English.

Thank you. I will not be torturing myself anymore. Dropping at episode 6. I struggled hard, plot is so stupid and illogical. The resident of the cold palace living in luxury and freely wandering around was too much. Drama because of drama, scandals because of scandals, cheap tricks and stupidity, dressed in historical Chinese Costumes, went too far. So terribly sorry for the actors that they had to endure it. They are wonderful, but they couldn't save it.

I also don't watch mini dramas a lot, many times are just too much. Thank you for your recommendation. So far (10 episodes) I'm enjoying it very much. I really like the FL actress and ML is good too. Story is nice enough and it is not overdramatic. I hope to see the leads in longer dramas. Both, especially her, are promising.

Thank you for this. I was thinking a lot, how It would've been, had WS married DQ. I'm happy WL survives, but sad that there is no XT.

She took the sword in to her arms and than the scene was blurred, implying, she used the sword to cut her neck. No one will cry for her.

I have a feeling that maybe this ex fiancé and her uncle can be potential new villains. I also expect the romance between ML's sister and her assistant (he practically saved the show and everybody in it, so he totally deserves her).

Finishing it, I totally agree with your opinion. As far as politics - they made a mess. And absolutely too much of Su Rong Qing. But it is a beautiful production, great acting and really beautiful costumes.

Thank you. Very well known and repeated story, which I actually like and it could be cute. Except, it wasn't. It was something in the pace, the way it was directed, FL has no personality (her assistant is much more alive and has better chemistry with ML). So, I'm dropping after 3 episodes. Very sad, because I really like stories like this.

I'm so excited! Finally S2! I can slowly plan to re-watch S1 and a treat!

I saw the correction - there will be 14 episodes( see "Details", upper right corner of this site). I usually wait until all of the episodes are out. This time I made a mistake and started watching two days before 10th, "final" episode. And now I will have to wait for at least 4 weeks. At least now I know to wait a little longer in the future, because the number of the episodes can change. Since Japanese series usually last about 9 episodes, this is a surprise. Eh. 😕

This was so beautiful and unique. I sincerely hope for a second movie. Please! I did watch anime first, so I think, I was able to understand it better. I read, that this movie covered the 1st and 2nd volume of the story, but there are 7 volumes and 8th is in the making.
Anime was also beautifully done, but the movie is deeper.
