Good movie. Didn't cry but it was sad. I just think it had the potential to be so much better with the way they set up the story and introduced a plot twist (nothing we haven't seen before though) in the latter half of the movie. They could have had more depth to the two main characters tbh. Still, solid 7/10 good acting, cinematography and the beginning was really sweet. Shame the ending felt a little off but oh well. Would recommend but can't personally say it will tear at your heartstrings unless you're really sensitive to this kind of melodrama.

Everywhere I've seen except on MDR it's entitled "The Classic" so I think that's the right one. I prefer that to "Classic" anyway.

Read the plot on Wikipedia. It can get a little confusing cause the same actress plays her mother in 2 different time lines.

Wow. This film was really disturbing but very original and interesting! At the end, when she (spoiler alert in case you clicked the spoiler by accident!) .... when she said "just kidding" - she didn't actually do it right? She was always using psychological warfare for her revenge...

Hmmm... the plot wasn't exactly very original and I felt like it was trying too hard to pull my tears. There are so many movies with the theme of a loved one dying from some life threatening illness so it has to be really unique and with an interesting plot to win me over. This was quite a disappointment tbh. Watch More Than Blue, or 1 Litre of Tears instead - much better movies that are similar to this.

Why on earth isn't this scored higher?! It's almost as good as Ip Man. Easy 10/10.

The scene that's shown on the poster for this movie made me cry.

It was nice but it didn't feel too emotional to me which is a bit disappointing. Having seen all these comments, I'm sure it's just a problem with me :/ Maybe it's the fact that I'm a guy and I have no friends? Can someone please tell me which scene(s) made them tear up and why?

Amazing movie. Not much really happens, but it's so relaxing to watch because of it's slow pacing, yet you get attached to the characters because they are so likeable. I cried right at the end :')
