This slowly rise to my top 5 most fav cdrama 😍 The chemistry is insane, It's cute, a bit childish, and also feel pure! Slow burn thin romance, I just love the pace ❤️
And... I love all the demons & their background story! I think all actors succeed portraying their roles that I enjoy whether they're good or bad character!
The comedy is also enjoyable, feels natural (something that many drama can't do)
I will only rate this drama after I finish watching all episodes coz I need to make sure this drama able to maintain it's quality 😘

None of the male leads are likeable, and I'm quite shocked seeing the ML easily kicks his cousin & friend so many times! Yes I know both are not good, but the way he just kick here & there, maybe the director intends to make it comedic, but what I see is bull*ing 😅 And also the girls are not perfect too, I still remember how FL teaches her mom to cheat on ML's mom about 'great old man giving blessing to unmarried son'... And how she teaches her sisters to make food with figure on the top and say that the cakes are blessing cakes... Isn't that a scam? 🙈
But, I still continue to watch bcs I'm curious, will there be character developments from all of them? I hope so, or I'm gonna be sooo disappointed since the casts are all my fav!

Lin Yi worked very very hard to film ski into love, he even got wounds for trying to ski... He's really a hardworking actor who did all his projects whole-hearted... I always wish for his success in any of his projects, no matter who his FL is... Please keep giving him your love & support dear, toxic fans are everywhere in any fandom, as linyi's fans, the main goal should be his dramas to be successful ❤️

Agree..! Many people drop the first 9 ep bcs they think the story is boring & bcs of how the ML treated FL, while in fact, that's the only moment where he did that, the rest of the story he only protects & did his best to help her find the truth... Even with the 'not ao good' beginning, this is still my most fav drama, considering how I fell for them, for their pain, their way to cope with their emotion & memories, and how they heal each other's sorrow...
So much mixed reviews.half of them complainig about how boaring it was and others claiming that it is underrated…
Kinda boring for the first 9 ep but after that we only get plot twist, sweet romance, and another plot twist! Ngl middle part is the best, and even with all it's flaw, this drama remains my top 1 drama coz the main leads chemistry & the emotional damage it took me, lucky that it's a happy ending... ❤️

Slowburn romance, and no explicit romance scene at all,, but if u enjoy the detail, even a slight hand holding / cheek kiss will give u butterfly...!
If u don't mind with subtle romance & love the type of ~healing romance~ then it's 9.5/10 coz I found myself trapped in their psychological ties, but if u only like full romance type, then it's 7.5/10 😁
Love this drama so far! It's a romcom but I didn't find it boring at all, not even a scene i skipped...! Gu Xun is loyal, and i love him for that! He didn't give false hope to others, it might looked rude but it's actually NOT! Yue Qianling is so funny with her fabricated sound, and yes... She was so fake that make Gu Xun didn't bat an eye for her! We all know that he likes strong & fierce Xiao Mahua, and it means that he actually likes 'real' Yue Qianling, not the 'naive persona' Qianling!
It's actually fun to see Qianling becomes a woman who gets angry easily & sorry but looks like Gu Xun is a masochist so they actually fit each other 😭🤣
And last, I stay still in my opinion that this drama adapts the novel brilliantly (even with the slight difference), I really enjoy this drama!

I really like ELM, it fits my romcom taste so much!
With japan traditional sweets as the background story, the cinematography looks quite beautiful, and the suspense/mistery is written well too!
