I think he left initially because he was insecure about himself, but when he went to home and then desert, he reflects on his actions and then write the letters.
I think when most of us say slow burn, it actually means realistic. Because most romance dramas have the leads…
I usually think of slow burn as too much yearning... like the leads cannot meet each other, a healthy amount of angst and leads having thick skull so they don't acknowledge their feeling, but I guess this is just me.... the pace of YRMG seems perfect so far......
I think the "break-up" here happens before they get together (as per novel), let see how is goes in the drama.... XD
HOW IS THIS A SLOW BURN??? LIKE SERIOUSLY? THEY BOTH HANG OUT TOGETHER, EAT TOGETHER AND SHARE THEIR PROBLEMS WITH EACH OTHER. WHAT ELSE YOU NEED? KISSES? THERE IS SO MUCH MORE TO ROMANCE THAN JUST RAINBOWS AND SUNSHINE. THEY ARE GROWN UPS WHO KNOW BETTER. THEY BOTH HAVE SUCCESSFUL CAREERS.
I SWEAR THEIR CHEMISTRY IS OFF CHARTS. IT IS LIKE WATCHING MY LOVE FROM ANOTHER STAR. EQUAL PARTS HILARIOUS, EQUAL PART EMOTIONS AND TOO MUCH EYE CANDY.
AND THE DRAMA IS STAYING TRUE TO THE NOVEL. SO THAT IS JUST A BONUS.
CANNOT WAIT FOR NEXT WEEK (OR WHENEVER SUBS ARE OUT)
Is this the link you are talking about?
