Actually according to novel the bath scene was after Ming discovered that this Joe is the old Joe. It was in Joe's condo. But both scenes should be from the present. I don't know whether in drama they showed it before or after Ming unravels the truth. But Ming only takes Joe to Joe's condo after discovering the truth. Otherwise, he was very possessive of that place as he considered it 'their home'.

The love scenes of previous life were in Joe's condo. This love scene is in Ming's apartment.
