Actually SeyDarin was a subplot created solely for the TV show. In the original novel the character of Darin was female, a lesbian (had an gf) and had a sibling like relationship with Sey who had his own bf. It’s one of the two main complaints the author had about this production. I felt the same way as @soyu and wondered why their cp felt so awkward when they had good chemistry in Pit Babe. Don’t know why they made the decision make this change to the characters but I personally feel like it was a mistake.
I love this series but two aspects continue to frustrate me, the script and the directing. Seriously this could have been equal to GBYFD if not for the lazy writing and the horrible job from the director. If GMM makes Leo and Yuki’s I desperately hope they use different screenwriters and NEVER let this director touch another one of their projects!
Rewatching this trailer now that DYTD has started really brings home how much I wish P’Jojo had taken on DYTD. Regardless I’m so happy to have JimmySea back!
Rewatching the trailer and wondering if NutHong really will be the surprise 2nd pair or if they are just taking advantage of fanshippers to lure in viewers. Either way I’ll watch as I love my boys and they don’t get much screen timing due to touring.
Wow, the number of folks objecting to this plot because they feel called out on their toxic fanshipping behavior is mind blowing. Everything I’ve found on this title reads that this is supposed to be strictly a comedy so, as long as there’s no Neo, I’ll watch it. As a reminder, not everything and everyone has to be a ship. Personally I’m not a fan of Nani but I do like Sky a lot so getting series with only the one is preferable to me. Same with PerthChimon. I really do not like Chimon at all so I cheered when they ceased being an acting CP.
Why does the photo on Fai’s desk look different from the other versions we’ve seen? It looks like it should be the same photo all the students have but her’s doesn’t look right.
