I am a CY fan but that doesn't mean that I think he has to get the iQiyi male god title every single time? If he got it once that's good enough, other artists are also deserving of it. Cheng Yi himself doesn't even care about titles, all he cares about is having good scripts to act and having people enjoy his acting. Don't put too much value on those titles!

I don't know where you got that but Wangquan Wumu is their ancestor. Like he is literally Wangquan Hongye's ancestor too from long time ago. Fan Yunfei is indeed his mentor and friend. This is from the donghua. Wangquan Wumu is a genius, he knows that he is from Wangquan clan but prefers to conceal his identity outside when hanging out with all sorts of people. I know we're all bashing Hongye but why am I so excited to see how the father-son plot will develop. Fugui is kind of rebellious and it's quite funny. And he is not rebellious in a harmful way. He knows his dad doesn't let anyone touch that mask, not only did he touched it, he even wore it right in front of his dad and caused his dad to go crazy in remembering his trauma 🤣 Another scene, he told his dad "That's your weakness not mine." (Something like that.) And then in another episode, he asked his dad "Why?" twice, making his dad speechless. Fugui is funny in his own way 😭

Honestly, he is staying as the "Soldier" of Yi Qi Alliance not because of fear or blindly following responsibilities but because of his love and understanding for his parents and also the kindness in his heart to help the Yi Qi Alliance slay those evil demons.

Yepp I find it quite smart of the adaptation to do that. Quan Rumu is actually Wangquan Wumu in the donghua, but he does not exist in the same timeline as Fugui.
