I was deliberating whether to watch it or just cram it along with the 12th EP, but just watched it since i knew it couldnt bring about any twist that will make me anxious.
Tai *sigh* whatever maybe the issue you dont walk out on a marriage function like that if its noticeable. And whatever maybe the history, bride must reciprocate the groom's loving words before jumping on the thanking family train. And Tai not feeling even a lil bit sorry for Phat or realizing his fault too is a very big red flag.
Phat's reaction is standard and pretty understandable, when your connection is severed and his lover shut him out..what to do but wait in pain. When he got courage to approach him again, there he is being chummy with Lomfon. Resigning the job was the next move. Tho he upgraded from being red flag to a light green one this ep.
Hope Tien and Lomfon had a longer story (tho afraid it would have been too much for me). Hope the actors get a good script next time. Lets wait for the final EP where they all forgive each other and become one big happy family...my patience has finally run out.
“Their relationship is not yet stable, insecurities will arise but lack of communication is a red flag.”100%…
Yes this is what's been bothering me about Tai too. He cant simply just stay silent ..maybe he needed some time to come to terms with it, but still he could have assured Pat that he was important first coz Lomfon was not even his best friend nor his colleague..he was an acquaintance through his brother technically he is his nong. So him just telling Pat that he is going to have lunch for owing him is much simple and straightforward explanation.
Atleast then Pat would have told about his insecurity or atleast felt better since his BF was honest with him. Dunno why they would want to make Tai seem like this..yes everyone has flaws but this seems to be just for the benefit of the plot (worst when they do this and create unnecessary problem).
We have come this far..yet the writing doesnt show any redemption. Phat's reaction is understandable, though could have toned it down and shown his disappointment rather than the anger towards Tai. Lomfon deserved to get decked for his action..and also for not heading Tien's warning of not coming btw Phat and Tai. Last but not least Tai....whew man i dont think he realized what he did, how he ruined everything by lying and also not being clear with Phat (their relationship is not yet stable, insecurities will arise but lack of communication is a red flag) like how can we know what you think..??!
A lone soul who doesn't deserve this is Tien, he is the most matured one of the lot even though he appeared to be a little annoying at first. Just wanted to give him a huge hug at the end. This EP is no better than the last, no clear direction of plot and screenplay is patchy. Have lost hope , yet will finish this.
I watched this in 20min...just felt like a filler episode , the whole content could be just finished in 15-20 min max. The actors are really good, the pacing and editing is slow and choppy. Dunno whats the deal with Nara ...though i like the actor. Dont have any more expectations for the next few EPS, will just finish watching since i started. Hope v get to see the whole cast again in a great series.
Whatever the opinions maybe ... the actors did a good job and they can ACT and they can KISS well. This episode was good, i sorta get Tai realizing that Phat and Nara have history together..so there will atleast be tiny lingering feelings (cue the kiss before 2months ) leftover since they loved each other and Phat was just starting to have some feelings for Tai. This kiss was imposed upon him by Nara and he froze and i kinda get it. Tai is suddenly faced with the prospect of Nara and Phat's relationship making him doubt whatever he had with Phat along with the talk he had with Bow the night before hence he wanted to get some clarity (though getting lost in not the way to do that). Finally Lomfon arc i am not yet sure..tho he cares about Tien now as a friend.
..i felt the narrative a bit slow like the glances dialogue delivery..overall pacing etc. Bonus point for not retouching their hair and makeup or making their dress squeaky cleaning in the mountain..their hair and faces felt natural. Hope the story picks up some slight speed from next week.
Always felt neutral about the series, though it has a lot of scope regarding the story development btw the leads, this was too slow for me. We all can clearly feel what Jeng is going through, Man's acting is very good and believable. Meanwhile I dunno if its the character design or something else Pat's character is sorta not there, like he disappeared being confident about approaching Jeng in the first episode to this panicked version. When first he didnt assume Jeng's sexuality, i dont know how he reached the conclusion that he is straight, nothing sorta indicated that(correct me if i am wrong). Their chemistry is awkwardly good, though we need some solid scenes to establish them well..hopefully it happens in later episodes. Side couple is ok for me, not very good and not so bad ..though they had more development like a crush..kiss..sorta break up..etc. Maybe next episode it will take off...
Personal opinion tho..i really liked BBS and ATOTS and the crossover idea was still good, yet couldnt feel this to be honest. Whatever their IRL problems are Ohm and Nannon are good actors as are EarthMix so cant really complain about that. Their chemistry is hit/miss esp OhmNannon, though they retained the essence of PatPran. The background felt a bit weak and soulless, yet the actors somehow managed to make me watch it. Overall it was ok for me.
Ps- Still for me ViceVersa and NLMG were favorite plot wise.
Man when Tane pat Yutaka's head i bawled .... dont we all need someone to do that for us on our bad/sad days too :'( this is heartwarming and very very satisfying series tbh <3
Personally this was the best OS2 out of all currently airing. Though the idea of taking care of a kid seems silly, it showed that PuenTalay realized there is much more to be discovered and their love for them isnt going away just cause time has passed or a kid suddenly comes into their lives. It was a breath of fresh air to see family dynamics in same sex couple normalised ..hope we get to see more of this in future shows <3
Gonna miss watching GunCher. Started watching for ForceBook , they didnt disappoint..their acting was on point (though some find Cher annoying I liked Book portraying Cher as a very social and extrovert person with sensitive feelings , Force as the boss who couldn't help but fall for the intern who brought new color to his life). The story isnt much to be pondered about but it was kinda cute office romance (though no workings of the actual company was shown). Hope forcebook get varying scripts to showcase their acting more in future..i ll surely miss my Friday's fav drama <3 <3
Thoop was and is basically a child. You can't judge his behavior by adult standards. This is a person who witnessed…
I get your point.. and not judging his character or motive here, maybe if he was not so rude from the beginning to Cher , while he got help from him. Trauma affects people i get that, but could have shown some progression on Thoop's front before getting jailed and now he felt about how he has been treating Cher all this time. Cher was doing his best with helping him without expecting anything in return and least he could do was not be rude. This doesnt indicate only to the episode where he confronts Cher and Gun, but from the very beginning.
EP 10 sure gave a whiplash. Though i dont think the reason for Thoop being shit towards Cher is justifiable. Cher was also the victim here and also lost his love then ostracized from the community , so Thoop's redemption arc doesnt really make him a good guy here. Coming to otherside i love GunCher as usual, their sudden love making scene made me blush (loving a straight forward, seductive Cher and Gun's sexy bod). I dont really have any opinion about Three and Zo, since i have been rewatching The Warp Effect :P
Typing this through my blurry eyes. ForceBook proved they can act any scene and make me feel. Cher's breaking point made me bawl, what an actor Book is to make me feel sad by just looking at his eyes. Gun is just focused on loving Cher, that he dont gets the thing going on around them. Those saying its a loop, just saying that our fears dont just disappear just coz someone loves us, we always need solid reassurances every now and then. I felt that this was the best EP acting wise and both Force and Book aced it. <3 <3
To see Cher sad made me tear up, though Jack could have simply said to tone it down in office. A lil angst never killed anyone. Though i hope it doesnt turn messy due to lack of communication. For all those who are looking for loopholes such as sleeping at the beach *sigh* get over it, every BL has that mandatory beach scene and they are cute so no issues reg them being repeated. And it was romantic of them to talk softly while gazing at the nightsky, them falling asleep for few hrs is no big deal. Finally Both GunCher and ForceBook being each others safe space is <3 and the way Gun rushed to Cher in the final scene ;))
Wild ride this one is !! Though i felt like headless chicken for the first 8 episodes, 9EP gave me the much awaited kiss (though started with the weird plastic inbtw..would like to know if it left any aftertaste). Like since we are nearing the climax, nothing bothers me anymore aka Ken getting strangled at every turn, Lue being mysterious with puppy dog eyes, others doing whatever they feel like. Dunno abt DinKen, LueKen for the win. I stubbornly refuse to accept that they r the same person for the sake of my sanity *sigh* both lead actors are good, but the script leaves them no choice.... anyways will watch till the end. :))
I just don't understand why MDL have people comparing two different couples with different stories, different…
Exactly, every couple has their own dynamics and charm.. just because they don't like one no need to criticize them, just drop the drama and move on, no one is forcing them to watch it.
For all the complaints about forcebook chemistry, i think their irl translated to the screen and its no way lacking. We already saw the trailer and knew it wasnt going to be earth shatteringly interesting plot. If you dont like it you can drop it, no need comparisons with other shows/ships. I feel its unfair to both actors in particular. I feel this couple is mature in their own way and potray a healthy relationship. I have enjoyed watching the shows mentioned in the comments and really liked them, i like this drama too since its simple and easy watch that makes my fridays better. And i dont feel every couple need to have good eye contact, subtle touches to show their feelings, a normal hug or sharing space is enough to convey them, in that regard i think Force and Book are doing an AMAZING JOB.
Aww GunCher moments !!! ForceBook with their couple moments is on point, realistic and literal green flag. Cher's sadness, relief, happiness, helplessness was nailed by Book ! What a range in a single EP !! Force with his soft sweet voice and caring words *sigh* both compliment each other soo well. Side note, Thoop is just a selfish person taking advantage of Cher's kindness. He can f off ^^
The story is nothing new, yet Force and Book have amazing chemistry and i genuinely like Book's acting here as over the top yet sensible Cher. As for the side couple debate.. Fluke had such an amazing chemistry with Thor in The Warp Effect and since this series followed immediately i am still mentally there *sigh* ...dunno where the series is headed in the next 6 EPs, just give me sufficient GunCher moments in them and i ll be satisfied(since there was no ground breaking story to begin with).
Tai *sigh* whatever maybe the issue you dont walk out on a marriage function like that if its noticeable.
