This film is a psychological crime story, power of 100% determination in action. A gem. Great. I recommend it. 9/10. This movie has it all - the only weak point is the secondary police characters.
As it turns out, I also saw the Spanish original 8 years ago, about a few thousand movies earlier – so I watched the plot as completly fresh.
My opinion: It was a mix of love and hate, just as Shu He said multiple times. He still loved and cared for Zi…
IMO, the point isn't that DZA killed SH's brother because if anyone else had done it, their fates would still have been the same. The point is that DZA deceived him about his goal of getting closer to him, and that after his brother's death, SH had to take the throne because there was no one else, and he wouldn't leave the Kingdom without a ruler (a sense of duty).
Furthermore, it was the Crown Prince – SH's brother – who killed the ruler of the northern kingdom (who was DZA's brother) on his own land, and as revenge, he deserved his death.
Secondly, I'm convinced that the Crown Prince would have quickly dealt with his brother SH by murdering him – to eliminate a potential threat. So DZA saved his beloved in this way.
At the end, we have conflicting information, and I'm left with a question mark. Is it revenge, as XSH tells his friend- doctor, or love - as she tells his beloved? Or perhaps a mix of the two? I understand that viewers have a choice in what they want to believe..
Please let me know yours opinion. Thank you in advance.
You think too highly of yourself. First no one care if you give your consent or not Second it's not like they…
Ha ha ha, I see I've started a firestorm.
And now, seriously: my approval or disapproval is MY OPINION of the movies and series which I've watched or no longer want to watch for a specific reason. Amen. And it has nothing to do with you or anyone else. Best regards.
According to your ratings ,i don't think you like anything at all .
You write untruths... this is exactly an example of slander and hatred. You only wanted to see part of the truth so you could twist the facts to suit your own interests. Well... many hugs. Best regards.

Ha ha ha I see I've stirred up an anthill... wonderfully :)
1/ Since I stated that the r*pe scene in episode 9 was a cruel scene for me and it inspired you to comment on my other ratings as low - then following your logic and seeing so many high ratings from you, should I assume that you like watching a r*pe scene constructed and romanticized in this way?... Well, that may be the case, you have the right to do so and I have nothing against it... I'm not judging you.,
2/ Now that you've done some analysis of my ratings, let's go a step further and look at yours. A 5 stars rating is an average rating. Below 5* are weaker, and above are better. YOU: Out of 681 completed films and series, 359 have 5 stars or less, which is 52.7%. ME: Out of 553 completed films and series, 197 have 5 stars or less, which is 35.6%. So.. you have more weaker ratings, so you've probably just slandered (you spat on yourself) a bit... and please don't keep your list secret now so anyone can check those numbers if they want.
Yes, I know, you were just joking... me too. Best regards to you
This is my first time watching anything from the ABO universe. I actually found it amusing – I watched the first few episodes with interest, but I had absolutely no idea what was happening or what was going on. Then there was a lot about manipulative abilities, and it was okay… until episode 9, which I couldn't stomach. I was deeply disgusted by this treatment of a partner you like, are close to, and care about. Regardless of whether it's fictional or not, depicting such cruel, animalistic behavior ruined the entire enjoyment of this series for me. The disgust remains. I don't agree to this type of advertising* and I can't watch the rest of this series right now.
*I mean advertising the premise that r*pe can be romanticized.
It's just an excuse (that it's fiction). Even fiction REPRESENTS SOMETHING, and some people—living in fiction—can put it into practice. That's why it's terrible.
Hua Yong is lying that he got used as an escort or whatever they call it (in this hotel where the detective found…
At no point did HY say he had any se.xual encounters at the hotel. He didn't have to say it; it was SSY's imagination after overhearing the hotel cleaners' conversations by the phone.

Nevertheless, he also dug a grave for their love.

As in every drama, I guess..
