I'm looking forward to this. ZRN is a decent actress but she can't pull off a decent kissing scene. I really hope she improves on this one. Her last 2 dramas, she was really awkward and both MLs had to stoop to her comfort level during the kissing scenes which was disappointed.

Do you need to watch season 1 first before watching this?

Yes I agree her chemistry was really great with William Chan but she wasn't able to pull off the kissing scenes there either. I think there was maybe one that was ok but both male leads were known to be great kissing actors.

I just didn't realize there are so many haters in the forum. If the drama managed to engage you for 30 episodes, there is no way to rate it 1 star. Actually, I don't think any dramas deserve a 1 star rating unless it sends a really heinous message. This is 1 out of 10, not 1 out of 5. That's just so hateful.

ZRN reminds me of Wan Peng. They are both decent actresses but they can't pull off a decent kiss scene because they don't kiss back and don't open their mouth. I'm sure with time, they will learn to do it better like other actresses.

That person is just a hater. She/he rated all the dramas with 1 star. No point reasoning with them.

I won't even call that a marriage. I don't think he even held her hands, for sure they haven't even kissed or slept together. Good thing they are getting divorced. Maybe they will start again in a better dynamic and even footing because right now it's too unbalanced YJ giving 100% and XZY giving 0%.

Episode 36, I find it funny that XZY asked YJ if there is anything he wants to say to her? wow she has the nerve when she has contributed nothing to the relationship. But then it's YJ's fault for setting the precedence since he was always the one to give in and let her have everything her way. I like their dynamic right now.

Then most likely you'll rate it zero because it looks like XZY and YJ are the end game. I don't think that's fair to the drama for you to do that but of course it's your right.

You got no argument from me on that. I agree with you but all I'm trying to say is for sure XS is a flawed character and obviously has his selfish reasons but he is in no mean the monster many people make him out to be. I think someone says he should be in jail. I can understand his reasons and since it's the company that owns the shares, he doesn't have control / have the final say on it either. My main issue was the way he handled it and kept it from her because he was afraid and he underestimate JH's love for Teng Yue.

ok fair enough if you take his words that way. I see it more like, he doesn't want her to struggle/work so much with Teng Yue. Having Aneda as the parent company, she would be able to achieve success faster with the support of a bigger company. His conditions was Teng Yue stays the same, under JH management and retain all workers. Yes, XS is in the wrong, in the way he goes about doing things but i don't think his intention was so JH can quit Teng Yue and be his housewife .

100% every time I see him on the screen and JXN being really friendly with him rubs me the wrong way. It's like they are trivializing rape. It's never ok. I heard in the novel, he raped her multiple times.

When did he ever tried to make her his housewife? He was actually very supportive of her and proud she made it this far on her own. His only mistake was not discussing with her about the acquisition. The acquisition makes sense as an investor and many of her people think it was a great idea. It was not what she wants and he knows it and that's why he hid it from her and I think that was his major mistake but don't try to pin other stuff on him.

I agree with you. I'm only on episode 4 but was wondering why she wasn't more wary or disgusted with him in her 2nd life. I would be if I was in her situation even though she might have felt guilty for rejecting him.

Yes agree. I'm not mad about his decision about the acquisition. I'm just upset that he didn't talk to her about it. The acquisition makes sense as an investor but she should be on the decision making and not being kept in the dark. That was his major mistake.
