I watched ep 1-10 and then skipped to ep 21. Their relationship didn't progress much. This is too SLOW burn for me. They are still seconding guessing each other, and not showing their true selves.

One of the worst ROMANCE drama I have seen because there was none. I have watched 2.5 hrs and the FL has not an ounce of attraction towards the ML. I think she has better chemistry with the 2nd ML but zero sexual tension with either brother. What a disappointment.
I like the ML but his son, 2ML even though he is the scumbag, he is very good looking too. I hope he gets some main roles. I also just noticed the cousin is the FL from Starlit heart.

Oh I was just about to watch that one with Chen Si. Yeah these poor actors, 6+ feet and got paired with 5'3 actresses. They need to seek workplace injury for their poor back.
I watched the Chen Tian Xiang & Liu Nian version. It was decent but the FL was a bit unnatural with the same hairstyle throughout the drama. Lots of kisses, more than this one.

I think you're right. I'm used to her playing comedic cutesy roles so maybe being flirtatious or seductive is not really her style. I think maybe she is a bit too tall as well since we are so used to those short feminine coy women in Chinese drama.
Regardless, I still liked this version, or maybe this was the 1st version for me so feels more special :-)

The number of flashbacks were overkill. The drama could have been completed in 30 mins less without a flashback every 5 mins. The producer thought we have the memories of a goldfish.

I agree about the ML. He's good looking and great performance. I just can't stand the FL's self-righteous character. If you're going to sacrifice for someone, ask them if they want it first!! Such a weak FL. Very hard to watch her being bullied by everyone and their dog.
Oh now I remember where I have seen her before. I was just watching a drama with her and Zhang Bei Xi and I was trying to figure out where I have seen her. And she plays a weak character once again but very steamy kisses though.
