The bullying in school has yet to be proven. I prefer to take such accusations made on the Internet with a pinch of salt because those people aren't accountable for what they write (for eg. Park Hye Soo was accused of bullying and it might not even be the truth...)

All in all, I'm glad she kept a dignified silence and that she can keep working. She's a very good actress and seeing that the people who have worked with her and her agency stood by her, I'm willing to think that all isn't as it seems and that there might be more to the truth.

I'm not sure she did plastic surgery, she just grew up imo. And even if she did do plastic surgery, what's the big deal ? Everyone in show business goes under the knife...

She ends up taking up drawing and as of episode 22 it's hinted she'll make a career out of it.

This at the end of the day, FL chose what made her happy and was able to free herself from her mother overbearing attention (though I understand the mother to some extent)
ML helped her to have move confidence in herself and to aim higher she got into a top university because of this.
Also she blossomed once she was in university so I don't think making choices around him was such a bad choice since she ended following a dream she couldn't even imagine she had.

The thing is even if you like both the lead, you don't have to force yourself to watch it if you don't like the premise. There are so many dramas to choose from...

Most often than not the author are women and romance dramas are designed mostly for a woman audience.
Hence the dreamy or tortured guy and the ordinary girl.
The fact that the girl is ordinary is also a way to let this woman audience or even the author project be more empathetic toward the female lead who then become relatable.
Most often than not it's the romantic rival who will either smart ; sexy or dropdead gorgeous.

Romantic dramas tend to follow a certain formula especially the HS ones. You might be able to find stronger heroines if you watch romance drama in different age bracket and setting.

Ordinary doesn't mean dumb though...

22 episodes of hours = 15 episodes of 1,5 hours
Thai dramas are preproduced and I haven't seen any news about the drama being shortened.

It would have been 22 episodes if the show was 60 minutes long. But as it is 90 minutes long, it's 15 episodes.

Ba Woo gave it to Dae Yeop so that the latter would have something to show to his father. It was a way to thank Dae Yeop by giving him a chance not to be killed by his family.

These dramas can have high rating but they aren't necessarilly popular or well-known.

It's a really touching drama. There is also Dear My Friend which is really good.

Navillera is also definitly worth a watch
