Same, I also wish there where more lighthearted endings in BL Dramas but it is very rare. Even with Yanderes in general is it very rare to have a light hearted ending. Hopefully there will be a trend where we'll have more good endings

I'm so glad it was the first BL drama I've watched after I realized it was one of the best ones. It was definitely a good introduction to BL series. But I've never encountered one as Yandere as Gu Hai, though Wine from Red Wine In The Dark Night and Se Joon from Eclipse are close ones

Ikr! I knew this drama since it's release back in 2016, but only recently have been really thinking and realizing just how obsessive Gu Hai was and added it to my list of good Yandere dramas.

You're welcome! These are all the dramas I could find (besides some of the dramas you had already listed) I'm pretty strict when it comes to it. When it isn't Yandere enough I either don't continue watching or don't add them to my yandere list. So most of these have alot of elements that show they are a yandere by the actions they do or did, Some of them become (more) yandere as the episodes progress.
Finally a comment I can agree on, I don't understand all the hatred for this drama, being romantic doesn't equal cringy. I absolutely love this drama and definitely would rewatch it again, I was really shocked to see so many negative reviews, while this drama was a very positive experience to me I especially loved the ending where they got married, I love this kind of happy ending alot.
