Disappointing with Missed Potential
The show starts strong, with an intriguing first half that had me genuinely excited. However, the latter half devolves into a convoluted mess, failing to deliver a cohesive or satisfying narrative. The rushed execution leaves much to be desired, and the conclusion feels underwhelming. The chemistry between characters is a highlight, with standout performances from Hyeri, Su-bin, and Hyewon. The casting, acting, and music are impressive, but the directing and cinematography, while competent, lack originality and fail to leave a lasting impact.
The limited episode count clearly hindered the storytelling, but skilled direction and scripting could have compensated for this. Instead, the show struggles to balance its ideas within the constraints of its runtime, resulting in a disjointed and uneven experience.
While there are some charming moments, particularly between Ja-ye and Suelgi, the characters and their development often feel shallow compared to the potential they had. The relationships and conflicts lack the depth needed to truly engage.
Ultimately, the show feels like a missed opportunity. It lacks a clear identity, falling short as a GL, comedy, action, suspense, romance, or intelligent investigation. Instead, it comes across as a chaotic portrayal of "crazy young brats behaving hysterically."
Acting-wise, the cast delivers, but the material they’re given doesn’t allow them to shine fully. Better planning and a more thoughtful approach to the story could have saved this from being such a letdown.
Note: Many fake reviews. its def not at 10.

Promising Premise, Disappointing Delivery with Unrealistic Characters, so Forced Drama
While this drama is decently watchable, it falls short in crucial areas, particularly plot execution and characterization—making it hard to fully invest in.Park Eun Bin delivers an decent performance, also Sul Kyung Gu is just okay.
Female Lead: Her surgical obsession and impulsiveness could have been compelling, but she often comes across as reckless and overconfident, shouting like a "brainless rookie gangster" rather than a skilled professional. Her character becomes even worse in the last two episodes, where she just screams like a mad hooligan, completely losing any sense of professionalism or rationality.
Male Lead: The plot drags unnecessarily because he withholds key information until late in the story. His sudden "convenient" memories (only when surgery is needed) feel inconsistent and poorly executed. Additionally, his idea of "teaching her a lesson" by dying on the operating table is just plain stupid—what kind of twisted logic is that?
Seo Yeong Ju: His character is overly simplified—just a blindly loyal sidekick with no depth, making him boring and unrealistic.
Few Plot Issues:
Dog Fur Subplot: Illogical. Surgeons maintain strict hygiene, so the idea that she’d leave dog fur with the dead body is absurd. Also, that murder happened quite some time after she left her home.
Burnt Dogs: If the dogs were really burned, forensic evidence (bones, remains) should have been found. Hiding this info serves no purpose except forced drama. (In ep 6)
The last scene of Episode 6 is similar to Hannibal, but a sick person dragging a healthy person is really a mockery. (He could have just stabbed her and left.)
The way her Medical License cancelled was invalid. As far as I know, she didn’t fail or commit any malpractice. She wasn’t supposed to perform that operation, but this is still somewhat acceptable since it was labeled as an emergency. However, manipulating another doctor to avoid coming is wrong. That being said, revoking her medical license seems excessive—a suspension would have been a fairer punishment. And the way the ML says, "I can get her license," as if he controls the whole medical board, is laughable.

For Fans alone, this is good, otherwise overhyped.
The series falters due to its incoherent narrative and poorly executed production. Nonsensical character arcs, particularly Jenny's apparent suicide and the random inclusion of a K-pop idol, YeoSeo's random acts, disrupt the flow and diminish the potential depth of the story. The lack of logical progression in the characters' actions further undermines the overall experience.Production-wise, the series suffers from significant shortcomings. The poorly executed fight scenes, often limited to aftermath shots, suggest creative limitations. As the series progresses, character intelligence wanes and plot coherence deteriorates, leaving viewers with a sense of disappointment.
While die-hard fans of the actors may find some appeal, the series is not recommended for those seeking a well-crafted and engaging narrative. A rating of 7-7.5/10 seems overly generous, given its numerous flaws and limited watchability.

Short stories (15min), with a deep meaning in each story.
Science Fiction series and takes place in Futuristic world . (Most of them, few are not)Hoshi Shinichi is very well known for his short stories and this series is based on his stories.
He has written more than 1000 short stories and this 18 - 20 stories are selected among them.
Some short stories are humourous, some are satirical, and some are cynical .
Importantly each story has a unpredictable and mindblowing ending !!
And almost all the stories have some deep meaning which is thought provoking !!
Highly recommed Hoshi Shinichi no Fushigina Fushigina Tanpen series !!

Netflix Season 2 : NEVER EXPECT MUCH
Weak Hero Class 2 disappoints with a narrative that struggles to find its footing. The story feels dull, weighed down by excessive flashbacks to Season 1 that disrupt momentum rather than enhance depth. New plot lines lack urgency, particularly the contrived "accident misinformation" arc (Typical Netflix style ), which feels forced and poorly executed. Si Eun’s strategic brilliance, once a highlight, feels sidelined as fights devolve into generic brawls without his trademark cunning. (He is always ready to stab like crazy idiot)
Additionally, the protagonist’s mother is reduced to an irritating, superficial figure, adding little beyond unnecessary melodrama. While the season retains very little good fight sequences, these moments can’t salvage the lackluster pacing or underdeveloped conflicts. A few emotional beats, particularly around guilt and loss, offer fleeting resonance, but the overall experience pales in comparison to the tightly woven tension of its predecessor.
Fans may stay for the action, but the magic of Season 1 is sorely missed.

A Tedious Exorcism: The Missed Potential
One of the most glaring flaws of Dark Nuns is its excruciatingly slow pacing. The film drags on unnecessarily, with scenes that feel overly stretched and repetitive. For instance, it takes nearly two hours just to reveal the central character's name, a revelation that could have been handled much earlier without sacrificing any tension. This prolonged buildup makes the narrative feel tedious and tests the audience's patience.Despite strong performances from the cast, the characters themselves are underdeveloped and lack depth. The film fails to provide meaningful backstories or motivations, leaving viewers disconnected from their struggles. This lack of investment in the characters undermines the emotional impact of the story, making it difficult to care about their fates.
The film heavily relies on early clues and hints, which are reused in the climax to deliver its twists. Unfortunately, this approach makes the revelations feel predictable rather than shocking. The overuse of foreshadowing strips away any sense of surprise, leaving the audience underwhelmed by what should have been pivotal moments.
While the film succeeds in creating a creepy atmosphere with its eerie cinematography and unsettling background music, it ultimately prioritizes style over substance. The slow-building dread, though effective initially, loses its impact due to the lack of a compelling narrative or well-rounded characters to anchor it.
Dark Nuns attempts to bring a fresh perspective to the exorcism genre by blending Korean shamanism and Catholic traditions, but its execution falls short. The film’s slow pacing, weak character development, predictable twists, and technical flaws overshadow its unique world-building and strong performances. While it may appeal to fans of slow-burn horror, the lack of scares and emotional depth makes it a frustrating watch for most.
NOTE: DONT WASTE YOUR TIME: YOU MAY FORWARD AT TIMES , AND YOU CAN STILL UNDERSTAND.

Decent movie though not great !!
While this movie shares similarities with Part 1, the crew seems to have overlooked the fact that the audience is already aware of the girl’s supernatural abilities, eliminating any element of surprise. Additionally, the sheer magnitude of her powers, far greater than in the first installment makes certain scenes feel over-the-top, almost like an animation. The expanded cast comes at the cost of character depth. The Girl, in particular, feels underdeveloped (she has only 8 to 10 lines in total), and JaYun’s screen time is disappointingly limited. In Part 1, JaYun’s intelligence and quick thinking saved her friend, but here, the Girl fails to prevent two tragic incidents despite later demonstrating overwhelming power—a lapse in logic that weakens the plot. Moreover, her excessive use of force against minor threats feels unnecessary, unlike the first film’s more calculated approach.
Genetically enhanced individuals are typically portrayed as not just physically superior but also highly perceptive and strategic. However, the Girl lacks clear objectives or situational awareness, making her decisions feel inconsistent.
Just few Suggestions:
Limit the scale of powers to maintain tension and realism (otherwise, it risks becoming like X-Men). Strengthen character arcs, especially for the Girl, to make her more compelling.
***
Despite these plot-related criticisms, the acting performances were exceptional across the board!

Though Fantasy , Human emotions are the same !!
This series has all the important genres: Romance , Action, Comedy, and Mystery.Well made series and writers have given through thought to each character.
Acting is amazing by all the characters and supporting characters as well !!
Though it has fantasy elements, human emotions are the same at the end and everything was perfect till 19.
However Ep20 is not that well thought, all powerful ones who controlled icestones get manipulated easily and importantly there was no clue about it in first 30 hrs or so. Last 20 min is done in a hurried manner.
Overall satisfying series in 2022, could have made with better ending !!

Decent series in a unique genre
Positives:The FL's acting stands out as a strong point.
The cases are slightly different from typical legal dramas, offering some variety.
The visuals are appealing and well-executed.
A few cases, like Case 4 (Geurami's father's property), were particularly engaging and well-written.
Negatives:
The plot feels weak and lacks depth, with minimal character development.
The ML (Male Lead) is underutilized, and there’s no strong justification for his feelings toward the FL (Female Lead). Similarly, the FL’s reasons for liking the ML are unclear and unconvincing.
Characters undergo abrupt changes in their behavior, especially in the second half, which feels unrealistic and poorly executed.
While the cases start off interesting, they become repetitive and dull over time. Stretching a single case over two episodes often feels unnecessary and drags the pacing. Some cases could have been resolved with simple legal consultations, making the extended treatment feel excessive.
Overall Thoughts:
This is a decent series that’s worth watching once, especially if you’re looking for something light and easy to follow. However, it falls short of its potential due to weak storytelling and lack of character depth.
Approach this as a light, casual watch rather than a gripping legal drama.
IMP NOTE: The unnecessary subplots involving the mother, firm rivalries, and personal grudges (hinted at in short 1-minute scenes each episode) create false expectations, so it’s best to keep your expectations in check for a more enjoyable experience.

Not so great, routine random twists
Never seen a stupid drama like this. It’s just 6.if you have lot of free time, you can give it a try and however don't expect the same if you like 2 or 3 initial episodes.
Characters are so inconsistent…. It’s neither mystery, horror, action, revenge , law… and no way close to thriller…. Many random inconsistent characteristics.
1. Supposedly ML, Why he hides and lives like that and again later he gets into affair and dont care much about family is awfully inconsistent to me.
2. ML Mother's: Is she stupid mother or what.... omg insanely crazy... (except lead actress most of them are insane and lead actress is crazy in her own way)
IMO, There is nothing much to write. its not dark as well.
However Good acting by all the actors, still this doesnt make a good drama to watch..

It’s about humans trying to give meaning to supernatural events..
Overall series is decent though not the great one out there. There are some logical gaps for sure.
Series is about: (these are obvious and many understood in same way, just wanted to state here)
1. How few use the some supernatural phenomenon to their advantage and they eventually end up becoming more evil to maintain that image.
2. Another set of people involve in satisfying their whims using the same event. They are more dangerous from the very beginning.
3. If god created that Supernatural phenomenon , there might be some mistakes in the process. It would take time to rectify/modify them. GOD’S CREATION IS NOT PERFECT. IT EVOLVES OVER TIME.
4. The CGI MONSTERS are just using the brute force and they do not have the ability to care about consequences. Those visuals were unnecessary, horror can be created with simple creatures as well.
5. How humans try to give meaning to any event though it’s never clear why few were selected for that hell.
Few unanswered questions for season 2
1. What is the selection criteria.
2. How did baby survive
3. Why that dead lady became human again .
4. What is the intended message for that supernatural phenomenon or is it just random or is it done by some demons.

A Meditative Masterpiece: Metaphors, Existential Depth, and the Haunting Legacy of Barn Burning
This is a terrific movie: thought-provoking, layered, and brilliantly acted. If anything, trimming 10 minutes (particularly the ML's solo scenes before BEN's entry) could have made it even tighter. Still, it’s an excellent film, easily a 9.5/10.While the pacing leans slow, it’s intentional, allowing the metaphors, analogies, and deep existential questions to linger. The adaptation of Haruki Murakami’s Barn Burning is masterfully done—though I’d recommend reading the short story (or at least a summary) after watching to fully appreciate its depth. Without that context, some viewers might struggle to stay engaged.
Important Note: Don’t go in expecting fast-paced action or clear resolutions. This is a slow-burn film, rich with symbolism and philosophical musings on life.
The acting is flawless, particularly by the three leads. JJS delivers a mesmerizing performance, embodying her role with such effortless depth that it’s mind-blowing.
