With My Cherie Amour, though, I got comfortable with it within the first couple of episodes. I watched it on Kisskh, and I hope you end up enjoying it as much as I did!

I completely agree. In the end, I found myself appreciating it more for being entertaining and visually appealing than for its actual story. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't memorable enough to leave a lasting impression.
And yes, I don't really blame IU either. The writing felt inconsistent when it came to her character. It felt like the writers never quite decided who they wanted her to be. I would definitely like to check out more of IU's work, though probably not right away. It's something I'll get around to in the future.

Literally me as well. Morally gray and complicated characters are usually the ones I find the most interesting. They feel more human and unpredictable, whereas overly green-flag characters can sometimes come across as a bit too perfect and fictional for me.
That said, in defense of this drama, I don't really have much to say. It kept me interested while watching, but it didn't leave me with many strong thoughts or feelings afterward.
I usually don't notice things like wigs, even when I know an actor is wearing one, so I assumed the nail complaints would be the same for me. But those nails were impossible to ignore. They were surprisingly distracting, and I've honestly seen better nails in low-budget Chinese vertical dramas than in this big-budget production.

A sweet drama. The ML is a green flag all the way through, adorably loving his cute and quirky little firecracker of a wife. There are no love rivals, no abuse, no violence to women by the ML (just the scum father but don't worry he gets his just reward), none of the usual boring tropes of scheming, lusty green teas, kidnapping, or prolonged bullying. The ML steps in to protect his wife the very few times she is about to be bullied. It's just a sweet, happy feel good watch.

The leads are so sweet together I was pleasantly surprised when the amnesia angle was resolved quickly and became interested in seeing how the rest of the story would unfold. FL is so naturally adorable that the ML fell for her twice! My heart melted when ML recounted how he felt and suddenly realized on his own that he loved her. The entire cast is good looking and acted well. The grandpa, ML assistant, and intern were so cute. It was very sad when she hurt him near the end but I'm glad they had a happy ending.

As she grows up, she falls in love with the male lead, her guardian's uncle, and openly pursues him. Although he clearly has feelings for her as well, he tries to keep his distance romantically, believing it would be inappropriate to influence her feelings while she is still dependent on him. This makes the romance a slow burn, but a very rewarding one.
One of my favorite parts of the drama was the male lead's family. The grandfather, the assistant, the younger brother, and the sister were all intelligent, supportive, and several steps ahead of the scheming villains. It was satisfying to watch them protect the female lead and help expose those who wanted to harm her.
The female lead's journey of overcoming her trauma and escaping her abusive adoptive family was also handled well. The male lead cared for her in every way, and their relationship remained free of unnecessary cheating, love triangles, or toxic misunderstandings. Overall, it's a sweet and heartwarming story with good acting, strong family dynamics, and a couple that is easy to root for.

This plot & storyline has high potential if produced right. Story is about FL being hit by car that forced her into early labor & amnesiac. The perpetrator kidnap her and gave her new identity (his gf) while the FL forgot everything about the ML, the baby & the life before. ML tried to get close to FL by any means possible including hire her as the wet nurse.
Honestly, apart from the casts; this drama is poorly produced. The character written has no actual depths (things like emotional complications & growth), they ignore alot of crucial details (the baby, settings), script & dialogue is mediocre, storyline is weak. I watched this till the end for Zhang Beixi (ML actor). I really wanna see a remake of this plot with better production. ML actor for the remake needs to step up their game because Zhang Beixi portrayal here is splendid .

This is a slow-burn drama with a very innocent tone and not many kiss scenes. There are a few “green tea” characters, but they are quickly handled and don’t really affect the main couple. The pacing is quite slow, so it’s something to go into with patience. Still, the drama is well-shot, well-acted, and has great cinematography, making it easy and pleasant to watch.
I really enjoyed the small details, especially how the female lead always shares food given by the male lead with her roommates. Both leads delivered strong performances, and overall their acting really stood out. I’m genuinely grateful to have found this drama.
It’s not the best drama I’ve ever seen, but it’s definitely not bad either. The male lead starts off a bit distant and uncomfortable, but once he realizes he misunderstood the female lead, he begins treating her with more respect. I also liked that the female lead doesn’t hide her identity or chase him in an embarrassing way; she stays polite and composed. The male lead does have flaws, but he’s not completely oblivious either.
The only real downside for me was the ending, which felt a bit rushed and abrupt, and I wish there had been more development or even a second season to see the couple’s relationship further. 9/10
