I like the grand fathers of both ML & FL. When they still didn't know that FL is the long lost heir of the Bai family, they still know how to appreciate a good character of a person. By judging their composure and stands of principles in life they have no doubts in commenting how good the FL was in their eyes.Too much bullying & the FL always needing to be saved but the leads had really good chemistry. That's the only thing saving this drama.This overall is a good drama. The first half was trash. like girl how many times do you need to end up in the hospital? Everyone was bullying the fl and ml was always late. The 2nd half redeemed itself. It also showed the story of how they met and fl’s background. This is worth watching.

I'm saving this to watch later, because it deserves to stand on its own without being compared to Go Ahead.
Honestly, that’s exactly what I did too, I waited so I could watch it with a fresh mind. And it is definitely good on its own. But yeah, once you start comparing, it does fall short, and I kind of felt bad seeing all the reviews and comments from fans of the original. You can tell they really tried to fix the common complaints like toning down certain dynamics and balancing relationships better and in many ways, they succeeded. I actually liked most of the changes. My only real issue was the FL. She just didn’t bring that natural teenage charm, especially compared to how effortlessly it was done in the original. Even the styling felt more focused on making them look polished rather than believable as teens, which made that phase a bit less convincing for me.
