True. I really never feel their brotherhood at all. In book 6 when they're in Banai I felt it but 'til this book 4 I still dont. From what I know in book 4 its already been half a year since they meet but they never treated each other as friends of some sort. In book 4 when theyre in Kunlun Embryo (not sure if they're inside cuz I dont really understand much) their mood changed, I believed that evil didn't created the negative thoughts but it just made their deeper thoughts resurfaced, so it made me sad to think that despite of them being together for quite some time Fatty still doesnt care about why Wu Xie will join the expedition and facing danger. And as for Xiao ge he is just like a normal grave robber (even though he isn't joining just to rob graves), he will save those who are in need so he really doesn't treat Wu Xie as special

Im not in there yet but I already read the book 7 and 8. Its better to read the full text or point than to be fed with their ship. As I've said xiao ge notices or gives his attention to Wu Xie but he isn't enough reason why he keeps in joining them for tomb raiding

For those who only want to see the iron-triangle together in this show it will be difficult for you cuz even in the story of the novel which this is adapted into, tells only a little bit of the trio (them as friends). In the novel their brotherhood is kind of bumpy. Im on book 4 now but I don't feel them as friends, just as colleague. Everytime they meet its because of mere accident, its just because of grave robbing business. Fatty is always there because of his own nature as the person who has greed for wealth or money not for Wu Xie (to help him seek for answers from his question of his existence), while Qilin doing it just to fill the missing pieces of his life ( he indeed gives Wu Xie an attention but he isn't the reason why he's going with them). Their brotherhood is bumpy but it will develop when the time goes on

Yes you can watch this without watching the previous seasons. The timeline for this one is a decade after the end of lost tomb 2 not the continuation so you won't be left off even though you won't watch the other tomb notes. If ever you'll be curious about their characters (how would they meet, etc) you can watch the first season (lost tomb 1) and so on

It depends in your taste because Yilong only acted as Wu xie in this season. But if you are curious about Wu xie and you also like the iron triangle then you can watch the prev seasons too. All of them are interesting but well as you can see this season of tomb notes is the best (like how most of them said)

I heard that Yilong was reached out by the production team of reboot in early 2018. And of course we know that he just became famous after Guardian which is released in mid 2018. And because he have been brought to fame he can ask for a raise before he can accept the role but he didnt. He filmed over a thousand scenes, did the fighting scenes and etc himself, gave out ideas himself even used his own blood for some scenes, yet he only have accepted and did those for low tf. I know that Long Ge is down to earth actor but I never thought that he's so selfless to this extent. I also heard that the reason why the production is outstanding because they saved a lot because of ZYL. Wow, he's indeed one of a kind...

Thanks for the info but the translator herself said that they are from the same clan but not of the same family. Xiao ge is in the main branch of Zhang while Fo Ye is in the other branch or the adopted because his family broke off. And based on her it wasnt cover in any book how Fo Ye knew about the bronze gate. And in book 8 it was only said that xiao ge became desperate (I mean the main family of Zhang) so he asked the help of the mystic nine and somehow revealed the info about what's behind that gate. That's what all she said. And for vol 8 I somehow read the translated version and I didn't encountered that it was said that they have close relations and who's older than who. This show is lost tomb reboot/reunion which happened 12 years after the main novel so you dont need to watch the other previous series of lost tomb. The story is not a continuation in the previous lost tomb seasons. But if you want to understand more about the characters you may watch the lost tomb 1 and 2

Yes. Before when he's just starting he's like a fool who will believe to anyone easily. That's why he's called naive by Pangzi because his pure heart doesnt have a place in the tomb raiding business. He's not wise enough to make judgment to someone's identity, but its ok with him because there's 2 person around him looking at his back and save him without a doubt. But in this reboot or tomb notes restart Wu xie doesnt trust anyone easily even its his own fan, that's because Pangzi and xiao ge aren't with him. Xiao ge went into the bronze gate for 10 years and Pangzi lived in Banai for few years so Wu Xie grew into more than naive and innocent. If someone like Wu Xie can be something more, something great, something wise alone then he needs a time for himself alone, afterall those 2 will still come back for him and just because of him.

Theres a s2 which consists of 34 eps. They will air it soon but no announcement when exactly. Somehow one of the actor junjie said its on mid September

Not sure if the warehouse is indeed not in the novel, I never read restart novel so I don't know and sanshu isn't done yet in writing that. But Bai Haotian's character is in the novel like how we saw in the live adaptation she seems have good feelings toward Wu Xie (not sure if its because he is her idol or deeper than that)

Actually there's a point in time for someone (anyone perhaps) to walk the path alone to be independent, to grow. I myself want the trio to be together everytime but if that will happen I will never see Wu Xie like how he is now in reboot. Like how smart, cunning and experienced he be. Friendship and brotherhood is just a plus in this story not the point itself. This story revolves around the Wu Family (Wu Xie specifically) how he will grow from nobody to become xiao sanye, from naive to experienced tomb raider, from pure to cunning if needed, and etc. And sorry to be blunt but this(lost tomb) is a live adaptation from a novel dmbj, so basically they will follow the plot in the novel not the plot that you want or you wish to see
