Well I have kind of different opinion. I like reunion more because of maturity and exact way of acting, and the bromance is also good and well-fed, maybe some didn't think that the connection between them isn't good because of the fact that in real life they aren't that close unlike the other iron-triangle actors. And Ultimate Note has more bromance and the connection is indeed better because of "Xu lei's own work".

Instead of complaining why not be thankful instead because if without Xu Lei's own imagination there will be no iron-triangle and no basis that the scriptwriters of this show can use.

I think you already know the answer why they cant create another season for UN. UN squeezed the 4 books into 1 season so they cant add more for it to make another season. Reunion has only 1 season too its just that they divided it into 2 parts because of the restriction. I thought you already read the books cuz you said that there are 9 of them but I guess you arent yet cuz you have questions

Some says "it" is the wang family. They are related not only to xiao ge but the whole zhang family because zhang family keep on protecting the secret behind the bronze gate yet the wang family's sole existence is naming or showing that secret to the world. "It" is also the reason why the mystic nine were infiltrated thus it lead to wu laogu training wu xie how to become qi yu for him to easily infiltrate the wang family.

Guys the only books that aren't adapted yet are book 8 (final book of the main story) and Shi nian (3rd sequel) but it has only few chapters so I don't think it will be adapted. Heavenly palace (book 4) wil be released this year I think and Tibetan sea flowers (1st sequel) will be adapted but no casts yet so no announcement. Again Daomu biji only have 8 volumes not 9, book 6 have 2 versions and book 8 have 2 parts, so I guess they counted the book 6 as two that's why some counted it as 9 but Ultimate Note adapted 2 versions of book 6 so only book 8 (final book) which no producers take the rights to create adaptation for it yet

It isnt necessary. If you are curious about their adventure then wu xie kind of story-tell their adventures in ep1 so you can't be left off. But you can still watch them

Lost tomb 1 which was covered from book 1 ended when wu xie realized that he took the purple box from the seven starts lu palace (it ended exactly when he almost opened it using the password he saw in the belt of the one who died there) and when sanxing told wu xie that qiling betrayed them thus the fake scroll was given by him so not everything written in that scroll is fact, so basically theres no auction supposedly in book 1. The auction happened in book 7 its after they trip in banai like how it happened here in ultimate note (but not everything showed in the episode is entirely based on the book, like for example during the auction the one who helped them enter the hotel is xiu or xiao hua without wu xie remembering them, and he realized his mistake in sitting in the left chair after he observed that no one is sitting there while xiao hua is just playing his phone without showing him any kind of interest

Hahaha well thats the way he helped them. Him helping the descendants of the mystic nine is without telling them that he did helped them and helping them without being known that he did it

Nope I think this series will end in a part where fatty and qiling will be in great danger after wu xie and xiao hua mistakenly gave them a wrong info thats why xiao ge went missing and needs saving inside the old zhang's pavilion. Cuz this show will only cover 5-7 of 8 books.

Not really. There is another adaptation titled "Heavenly Palace" which was not released it will cover the book 4 thus it is the continuation of "lost tomb 2: explore the note"

Because Pangzi loves with all of his, so finding a lover will make him stop his adventure and tomb raiding tracks (in the novel he decided to stay in Banai when the main story ended), and besides most of the audiences keep on complaining about having women as love interest even if this is a bromance story so this isnt a bit surprising if they wont stay alive until the story is finished

Actually the novel have only 8 volumes with the book 6 having 2 versions and book 8 having 2 parts. And this live adaptation will cover books 5, 6 (both versions) and 7 so only the last book is not adapted yet. Yes youre right xu lei is really a type of author who will write books without finishing it to make his readers' imagination runs wild. But as a reader myself I can say that the last book of main story is somehow finished but not everything were explained well (it ended when xiao ge told wu xie some things about mystic nine and their responsibilities with bronze gate, and leaving them to guard that gate). So I can say that last book of the main story is not ended undone

Actually the one that panma smell is the metal they found. Remember the scene wherein wu xie disguised as wen jing by wearing a wig which was rinse in the water with the metal case in there. And dont forget what wu xie said about those team which panma seen after he killed the archaeological team. After killing the 1st archaelogical team the fake one disguised as them which made Panma thinks that they came from the dead, and thats where he smell the dead in them (the real archeaological team carried lots of boxes with metal case with them, thus its not surprising if the 2nd or fake team also did the same which made the smell of those stuck on them). So the one he smell is the metal not qiling himself
