ok I'm considering watching this but on a scale from "meehh" to "best drama ever i'll stay up all night and avoid school/work to watch next ep" how do you rank this drama ? To be honest i didn't get the hype for DOTS for example.

I can't wait for next ep ! I love how this drama is realistic and allows me to fantasize at the same time. Great slice of life for mature minds with proper 2nd lead syndrome, also it gets better every ep.

@rainruma true dat but don't you agree that she's still using this image in this drama. it's very ambivalent. she's critisizing it (in her last album) but she use it in her actual acting. look at the habits, manners she has in this drama. no healthy mid-20 women act like this.

to be very honest i always drop dramas around ep 14-15 when the plot is getting boring/long/weird like i just did with W even if the drama was good earlier. almost never go to final ep

EEEhh wtf did happen in ep 6/7 ?! It was so good until now and now i'm just watching the same soap I already watched 1000 times. the writing became so bad just now...
Also, it's clearly a drama written for IU dunnow if her agency really loves her, or if she has a boyfriend into the drama team, but she is so much the center of everything in this drama that it's becoming a bit annoying even tho she's 1st f lead.
Also, she's never a bit ridiculous, never a bit funny. I can't rely on her at any moment seriously. it's like it's an MV promoting her beauty.
There's not even a female 2nd lead a bit pretty and nice or doing some sassy stuffs without anybody to some to rescue IU immediatly. And she litteraly have a new guy falling for her in every episode. How do they think it's gonna do any good to her already bad reputation ? Girls already hate her in SK.
Don't take me wrong, I'll continue watching because it's very exciting, but at the same time I'd expected something less easy/ cheesy. Thanks god Ha Neul is still hotter than fire.

ObaSASSion : I totally agree but in this case a lot of things have to be rewrite.
The flowers IU brought to 10th's b-day, the hats etc, its not something that would've happen back in the days, and nobody was surprised of the decoration, little hats, etc...
Also, dunnow if you notices but she had some tinted lace on her traditional dress which is totally impossible since this kind of lace is typically european, i don't know i they already did some exchange with european merchants but in any case it would have been too expensive for a simple court lady's dress.
As well as the 4th's prince playing which was "about scary" for 2 eps and now he just looks like a puppy that is waiting for his role to finally rise.
Same as when IU sings, I can't get why they're all so much hooked. Plus she seems to have a lot of free time to always have small talks with diverse princes during her working hours, or learn or to read/write when the sun is still rising.
It's just the way the drama is written. just to satisfy concepts people of the 21th century have on love and romantic fantasies we have on past historical periods. it's nothing accurate, so wtf do we care about baekhyun's aegyos ? i personaly ain't shocked only by that.

namopanik : totally because he's part of Exo right ? I mean Exo's almost a religion amoung young girls across Asia. And if you take in consideration the dram is actually on screen in Korea AND China, they better give those girls some fan service

there's tons of fan service but i'm not into idols and i was really into it from the first episode. the basic/historic plot is very interesting and on top of it a lot of situations are slowly built which makes you foreshadowing so much action a revelations.
It really keeps you hyped. also it's clearly the biggest reversed harem of dramaland since Hana kimi / to the beautiful you lol.

+10 for amazing chemistry between IU, 2nd lead AND 1st lead
+100 for Ha Neul who is such a good actor, so hot and intense, and certainly the father of my children in a parallel dimension

i just started because there were nothing to watch / i was waiting for new eps from big dramas but its actually very fun ! For those who are worried about the "drinking" part, there's actually no more drinking that other dramas. It's really more about teachers problems, I would had call it like Teachers or something like that more. It's not a bit production but it's really not boring. The main actress/actors relationship is one of the wrongest start i've could'd seen in drama history tho I'm really curious of how they will end up together. I would recommend it to you as the little sweet you eat in between main dishes

i agree with mystic lullaby. honestly in my country such things wouldn't matter. people would just laugh of celebrities small conflicts, there are much more important things happening. IU is good in her role.
