I'm just about to start this and checking comments out. But I have to say, I feel like you're definitely American…
Oh alright, happy to know I kind of stereotyped rightly 😂 I'm just staring and i hope I can enjoy this series, although from the comments I've decided to skip the sister's romance arc.
lol sometimes dramas attempt to make FLs endearing but get lost and introduce them as complete idiots instead…
I'm just about to start this and checking comments out. But I have to say, I feel like you're definitely American or European 😂 I don't mean anything bad, your outrage at the situation is just funny to me. They always seem amazed at parent/child interactions, especially when it comes to marriage. I find that Asians and we Africans are usually in the same emotional obligations and bondage, especially when it comes to marriage.
This was such a lovely drama to watch. I don't know how I missed it. Basically the most logical time travel drama ever. Even the little details were taken care of. Like how the FL never took initiative or confessed bluntly to the ML during the time travel part, cause we find out she was basically dreaming all the story people were telling her. ML sat by her bed and told stories of their youth and all the things he did for her, and she compared it to what she knew and fell in love even in her dream. Then she recovers and we get back to real time and she's such a good girl, doing her best to chase. In that period, ML was the worse possible version of himself, he's tantrums were too mean to her. I wish he never had to say such hurtful things, but the FL has pretty thick skin. Ultimately, they settle down in their soft love and her getting pretty realistic visions and getting justice dramatically. I'm grateful for a screenwriter like this. Kept the whole show valuable
does giving a weasel in as a wedding gift mean the in China as it does here. Deceitful and treacherous person.
I don't think giving the weasel was the offense. The offense was that they put Lynx in the betrothal list and brought a weasel. Basically, they wanted to sound good and have a good reputation but couldn't put in the work to hunt an actual beast. Giving a rare beast as a betrothal present is impressive from what I gather.
When is it gonna end?? I want a HE for everyone before I invest my emotions and I'm suffering trying NOT to keep…
Same here. I decided to pause at EP 19 since it'll probably end on Saturday. But it's so hard, I keep coming here for soft spoilers just to satisfy myself. Really really praying for a good ending. This drama's vibe is completely opposed to bad ending. I want full closure with multiple ending episodes, like 'Are you the one', not 15 minutes of peace with destruction surrounding them
they will used ai to replace her if her tax issues not clear lol
And mess with these amazing visuals and looks? I feel like AI solution can work on any character except the leads. Cause cdramas whole romance plot is based on the looks. How he stares at her, how she stares at home. Without that, we literally have no romance. Especially since they rarely get so touchy
seriously thank god that song zu'er's tax issues were cleared or else we would have missed such a good drama in…
I've been thinking the same thing. Thank God she was cleared. Cause all this loveliness would have gone out the drain? Just the thought breaks my heart.
I wonder how FL's grandfather raised good grandchildren but terrible sons. Marriage alliances work cause the FL was groomed to be a governor's wife. And she has the sense to cultivate a relationship. Most girls will fail at that, firstly cause they'll probably not be as educated and trained since they're not from a main family and few lords are like our ML, objective and can listen to reason. I hope FL gives her sister the horses, I can only imagine her Uncle using them poorly.
Nah, it's 14 years of hate and thousands of Wei lives including his own family members lost forever, can't get…
I agree. He literally grew up in hate. And he saw his family killed with his eyes, not that he heard it. Personally I'm praying for an ending like "Are you the one" That was a perfect happy ending. Literally no single controversy about that ending. Leads settled down well in life and all the side characters too
I'm still behind at EP 15, but I have to say, ML got one of the worse dumb mother in drama history. Are we sure he's her biological son? Cause what sort of mother keeps setting her soon up for absolutely no reason at all. Half the issues wouldn't be there if their family was good. But only grandma and our leads are noble in this drama
Thank you for sharing this. I'm just at episode 3, going to skip all Da Qiao scenes so I don't get attached. I hate when directors/screenwriters add tragedy just for tragedy sake. Especially when the source material isn't that painful
Watched it for the 3rd time. Ratings has gone down IDK why. When I first watched it, it had 8.6. Back then it…
I'm honestly amazed to see this sort of rating. I watched it around when it came out and I just recommended this to someone and realised it wasn't on my MDL profile yet. I have very good memories of the drama and have rewatched it multiple times. Now I'm wondering if I missed something or what's wrong. (For some dramas I skip problematic plots, but I don't remember that happening here). Good to know the ratings are a new mess.
This was such a nice watch, Prof Ryu is a typical crazy genius. Loved his uncontrollable laughs at his silly jokes in uncomfortable situations. And I feel so bad for the siblings. Their story had a sweet and realistic end, but it's so sad. Some people really try hard for babies and it just never comes, that's just life. Loved that our main couple were soft till the end. Also how Oh Yi-Young's relationship with Prof SEO was the sweetest mentor mentee stuff
can someone help me out🙏 what did her grandfather do?
I think he just spoke bluntly to the emperor. And you know how tyrants get as they get old and more fail. Afraid everyone is plotting against them, expecting betrayal from all their sons. The emperor didn't like HHS bluntness, so...
Oh Yiyoung is the first year resident and none of the 4 residents are doing great in the first episode.Yiyoung…
Yeah, that's the exact character in one word: soulless. At least until ep3 or so. I think one of the many things the drama is doing is showing us how she gets life back into her through the residency period. Helping her recover from whatever funk gave her nightmares. Cause at the beginning, she was only there for the debt
Im at 4th episode and even though all 4 residents make mistakes but go youn jong character is making so many mistakes…
I think that's the whole background her character... She gave up on medicine and lost interest already. Yet, she still connects with the magic and has good basic skills like suturing well. She's only back cause she's in debt and well, doctors male good money. It's very clear that she's not the inspirational doctor that's still fresh with big ideals. She's just there cause she needs to get out of debt and the Funk her life became after her father's bankruptcy, and whatever trauma causes her nightmares
Me too. I loved him in lighter and the princess, also liked the FL in "you are my desire". I hate absolutely real…
I had the exact same thought as you. After L&P, I checked both if them out and I couldn't push through anything he was in, but I've watched 3 of her shows. She definitely does an amazing job picking her scripts. Hopefully his next drama with Dilraba doesn't disappoint
I am a fan of Chen Feiyu, but I just cannot bring myself to watch this show. First, I told myself that I’ll…
Me too. I loved him in lighter and the princess, also liked the FL in "you are my desire". I hate absolutely real simp. Like I want both characters to have self respect. There's more to life than love, but.... I've waited for this so much it pains me to skip it
Whilst i understand your criticism, i do have to point out that anyone familiar with the director's work would…
I completely understand and agree with you. I rarely enjoy kdramas this days, but I saw a clip with the Financial girl (Ms Kwak) and I love aloof awkward girls and the description seemed to be heavy negotiation stuff. But so far, they've literally only done things sentimentally. Appealing to sentiments and luck. Rather than giving and offer bad beating it down. It's a bit to cute. I'm enjoying it, but it's still a disappointment from what I went in expecting. It's been so long since I watched Hot Stove league but yes, I went in expecting a vibe like that. Series adult office stuff. Not a cute and loveable ML with the biggest progtagonist halo.
