The editing in this movie is insane. It looks like no one remembered where they left of last time they filmed and they just either randomly forgot to finish a scene, or they started a new one coz they didn’t remember the last one.

If the editing wasn’t so bad, the movie would be alright. It’s entertaining enough, the dialogue and relationships between character isn’t exactly funny, but it’s amusing to a point where you want to keep watching.

But yeah, be warned, the sequence of scenes will end randomly and characters will suddenly be in completely different places there’s like no continuity happening here XD Guess maybe they couldn’t afford the staff to take pics of character placement etc to refer back to with each scene? Or no one gave a fuck? Or they did and whoever edited this was just high af and thought it was good enough?

No but really, the editing ain’t great, that’s pretty much my take away from this.

Oh, also XD the ending makes absolutely no fucking sense? If you got what exactly happen to Sun Wukong in that ending let me know?

Great! I was going to watch in now, but I will wait for your opinion. I have no clue what that summary means.
Dubbing over a movie is common practice in pretty much all Chinese movies and dramas, I get annoyed by it at times too but you kinda get used to every actor sounding different. This movie did not have great syncing so it definitely looks off though XD

Look I don’t even know what to think about this show XD it’s seriously insane. It’s set in a realistic type genre, but honestly I have never seen a dram where the ML is this much of an asshole. Like they’re usually bad, but this guy is just a piece of human trash XD I can’t possibly respect Gil Ra Am in any way for liking this guy. She’s meant to be strong and tough, but that kind of woman would never fall for a guy who stalks her, insults her and thinks he’s gods gift to woman XD just everything about this set up is hilariously stupid. Like I don’t hate it, I just can’t take the characters seriously.

Also, pls don’t hate me, I think their both good actors, Hyun Bin is probably better now than he was back then. But… both his and Ha Ji Won’s interpretation of playing each other’s characters is just so basic >< she walks around, for want of a better description, like a 13 year old boy who thinks he’s gansta, and spreads her legs when she sits but like, his character didn’t act like that before they switched. Both of them are focussing on being the opposite gender instead of being each other’s characters. This gives me as a watcher, the effect that I’m watching two actors pretending, not actually watching ppl who switched bodies. I get it’s hard to do, but I’ve seen it done much better.

The little memes you’ve got detailing difference between anime, kdrama etc, your sort of describing a very old style of kdrama there that I call the ‘kimchi slap’ era, it’s not really as popular these days, is it? Also I think the reason Vincenzo was so good is because it stayed very far away from this formula, I’d compare it to good HBO show more than I would compare it to other dramas. Sorry I’m not trying to be critical I just think that dramas are usually presented and thought to have these crazy over the top plots, when they aren’t really like that anymore at all, they’ve grown and matured into much better scripted and shot shows that have more depth in characters than a lot of US shows do these days. I get it’s just a meme and it is funny, but it’s also exactly why so many of my friends refuse to even watch an episode of any kdrama…

Look this was enjoyable enough, I feel like I was just too excited and awed by finally getting to see Lee Dong Wok and Yoo InnNa together as an actual couple and I kind of didn’t actually register much about the drama as I was watching it. But when I think about it after I watched it, tbh, it was boring in parts and especially towards the end. Also Lee Dong Woks character was pretty shallow, and I don’t mean as in his personality I just mean like whoever wrote his character didn’t actually give him much of a personality past ‘this guy takes his job seriously’. Anyway, I did really like this, but I would only recommend it to hardcore fans of the two mains, there’s not much else there to enjoy except the two of them.

can someone spoil who will soohyun end up with?
He doesn’t end up With IU at all >< she likes him but he doesn’t like her, and in the end they’re good friends but it is in no way even implied that they end up as anything but friends.

Title Real
I just feel like the director of this movie had a vision in mind and so did the writer, and I definitely feel like those two completely understood what they meant, what they wanted to say and what the story was about. But they forgot that no everyone understands each other like that, so they made a movie that only the two of them understand completely.

Sure there’s a plot in there, he owns a casino, he works with gangs and syndicates selling drugs, and there’s a random guy following him around who looks exactly like him and is trying to replace him.

But, past that, none of it makes sense.

Apparently he has MPD, but in the movie itself this never actually becomes apparent or is shown to be true. If it is, why do all the other characters know and acknowledge his copy as a real person? Why is there that one scene of him and his copy being taken to a hospital but the copy looks like another person? Is this meant to say that the copy never was him? And it’s the copy who has MPD and thought he was him because of that incident?

Why is the drug so important to all this? Nothing much is ever explained about it except that he’s an addict and so is everyone e else.

And lastly, who is the reporter? Is it him? Or the copy?

Okay so for those of you not understanding this movie, just go into it knowing that he has multiple personalities…
What does it mean? I’m just curious what you thought it meant.

Even going into this movie knowing that he has MPD and an addiction doesn’t help unless you fill in most of the plot yourself.

It’s never explained why there were two of him to everyone else as well. Like the girlfriend, she very obviously was aware that they were two different people, but why?

Why is everyone in the movie addicted to siesta? What does it actually do? Just saying it’s a drug doesn’t clarify anything for me >< it’s obviously very dangerous since several people die from taking it, so why?

If this was just MPD then it doesn’t actually make much sense, to me. There has to be some sort of reason as to why every other character in the movie was aware of both of them. But none is even hinted at. Or did I just miss it?

I took the ending to mean that he was just insane and none of it was really, real.

But yeah, please I’m genuinely asking, I want to see what someone who got some meaning from this movie thinks was happening in it?

Oh I agree with you on the rating XD I’d probably give it an 8 tbh, and I think the show should have focused on Geu Ru’s journey a little more than it did too. XD I mean the perfect drama still doesn’t exist out there, I’m always managing to find something in great dramas like this that could have been better, but I think this one is a step in the right direction, for me, maybe not everyone. ^^

Was he in the military from 2015-2017? I don’t know why he wasn’t in a drama for 4 years and only did one movie in that time, I’m just wondering? He can do whatever he wants XD he could make money just by being pretty anyway. I just like his acting and it’s a shame he hasn’t been in more roles that actually showcase how good his acting is.

I saw "Where Your Eyes Linger" and it was okayish but also didn't wow me. Also saw "You Make Me Dance" but that…
Yeah with the short episodes it’s kinda impossible to get any real depth to the stories or characters. I mostly think the thing that shines with them is the production values, there really aren’t that many BLs with great production values out there. Though they are starting to get better.

Anyway I won’t I’ll shut up now XD I didn’t really enjoy nobleman ryu either I was excite by the historic setting and so disappointed with the actual drama ><

Have you seen the other BLs those actors have been in? Just wondering, I thought Where your ryes linger and To my star were quiet good.
Obviously with only 10 min episodes you won’t get a deep story but those two managed so much better than Nobleman ryu did.

And honestly I’m kinda just happy that Korea is making BL at all, it will probably take years but at some point I’m sure we’ll get an actual full length Korean bl and I imagine that if the production values are as good as they have been on these short form ones, that it will be really good.

I’m only up to ep4 of this drama, so don’t get defensive, and pls don’t tell me not to judge a drama without watching all of it. Ive heard that statement so many times and it’s the kind of thing an obsessive person says when you insult what they obsess about because it’s the only thing that’s keeping them going, I suggest you get a hobby or get your shit together if you feel like saying that.

I’m judging the first 4 episodes of this drama, it’s what I’ve seen, and I’m giving my full opinion on it based on those episodes, when I finish that opinion might change, or, it might not.

IUs character in this fucking terrible. I can’t feel bad for a person who acts like that. And I can’t root for her to get what she wants. Having a tough job, a tough schedule, a tough diet and a bitchy ass boss does not excuse your behaviour in any way. It does not excuse putting other people into difficult situations that could have been avoided by wearing a fucking jacket. It does not excuse treating the people who work for you like servants and it does not excuse not giving a fuck when you do cause problems for others for no particular reason except that you think you can. If she’s unhappy with her work, which she obviously is, she can quit any fucking time. There are plenty of people who would do anything to take her place and would be more thankful for having it.

And, omfg… Ye Jin. Like what can I even say about that shitty piece of human garbage? Telling her ‘boyfriend’ to destroy Seung Chan because she’s pissed she has to pay for damages that she caused? Just I can’t even think about it XD it makes me feel sick the way she behaves. But what makes me feel even worse is that the writers thought it was ok to make every older women in this show be jealous and annoyed at young pretty girls just because they’re young and pretty. Like wtf. I mean sure there’s women like that out there, there’s also guys like that out there. But they thought it would be ok to make this the basic trait for all the older women in this show. Just blows my fucking mind XD

If your curious (I say this because I always am when ppl leave comments like this) I would feel the same way if her Character were male. I don’t think it’s attractive behaviour for any gender.

It’s difficult for me to keep watching this drama because of their characters tbh, I can’t see them doing anything that would forgive the way they’ve been acting. But I am curious as to what the writers thought would be a redeeming action.

I liked it so much. The characters are so real that they frustrated me ???Also...there's a certain similarity…
And old western sitcom called the office XD
That made me laugh so fucking hard. The office is like one of the best and most known sitcoms ever made. It’s close to being universally recognisable. And it’s not like it was made in the 90’s, the last season aired in 2013, so unless your 6 years old there’s a high chance you know it.

XD sorry I’m not trying to defend the office it was funny sure, but I haven’t actually watched all of it. But even before I watched it, i couldn’t go anywhere without ppl raving about it.

It’s like calling GOT and old western show. Shit I dont really care I’m sorry, your comment made me laugh coz you made yourself sound so old XD but I somehow doubt your actually that old.

It was a good watch but the highest rated drama here of ALL TIME? Hmm...Most of the side plots/cases weren't that…
I think this is up to interpretation probably. For me the cases they took weren’t really about the people they were helping, I don’t think they were included for the purpose of making the audience get emotional and cry over characters we barely know, they were included to show how GeuRu is moving forward in accepting his fathers death. That’s why not much time was spent on them, they aren’t actually important to the plot they’re only important to his growth hence they only show the parts that mattered to GeuRu .
