I think I saw somewhere it should happen after they leave the club. Where they go home and Lian apologizes and…
Book wise yes that's where it happens so I'm guessing ep 8 will have that discussion. I hope it is had because it does need to be addressed within the series.
Also it's where the book hits 18+ territory although not particularly graphic and apparently a notification went out to say make sure you have your YouTube set to 18+ for ep 8 (I've haven't seen the notification, just reference to it on other platforms)
I agree! It is frustrating to see this complete 180 from him , but we are following Kuea’s perspective right…
So true about the BL pacing. I'm always like dude why does the seme need to have some super secret that you have at least 10 opportunities to tell but you are going to hold it until the last minute! :)
It does cause me to get frustrated with the Uke because I just want them to stand up for themselves.
But I always hold judgement until the series ends because I like to see how things are addressed.
How many comments in this section are about Lian saying he didn't love Kuea in the first episode? Has no one here ever said something out of anger that they later regret?
It's not a major spoiler but just in case someone doesn't want to know I've put it under the cut. The pacing of the series is pretty close to the book and the issue does get addressed of why he said it so I am hoping it will in the series since it's such a moment of communication. And timing-wise I would expect it to pop up in ep 8. So fingers crossed.
I think people are just being impatient with the storytelling. No point in having 12 episodes if they tell you everything in the first 2 or 3.
Good to know. I hadn't seen that. Just had a look and the special episode is listed under the La Forte (uncut-iQiyi VIP) schedule but not under The Series (cut-TV version) schedule so guess it will only be on iQiyi
I just want to take this moment to remind you all to start psyching yourselves up to the fact there is a 2-week wait between episodes 2 and 3! No episode on 16 April. Prepare, prepare, prepare! :)
I really want to watch this but I am still 17 turning 18 this May. Imma wait till I turn 18 then, but the spoilers…
It's up to yourself if you watch it or not but in all honest I don't think there will be much difference between the you of today and the you of a month from now. So I would just crack on and watch it with the rest of us :)
Guys is there no way to read the english translation of the novel?because i really wanted to try reading it especially…
There is an official translated copy into English on the MEB site (actually translated by Bible who is playing Vegas). I've not brought it myself as it's about £20/$20 which to me is far to much for an e-book, that is Hardback Book prices.
The ending was sad but it had to end like that. Only one of them could live and Jun Ho chose to be the one to die. He'd found a happiness again and was going to die peacefully. Like I said it's sad but I'm fine with that.
But what I'm not fine with is the ring. I have no idea why I am so fixated on it but by god, I'm mad as hell that they made it a big deal and then didn't even have Min Hyan find it.
I'm trying to look at the positive in that only a minute before Min Hyan had been wishing to have a photo to remember Jun Ho by and didn't have one. But because Jun ho dropped the ring and Min Hyan stepped on it he found the photo he was wishing for. So I'm trying to persuade myself it wasn't about the ring, it was about the photo that's been there since episode one.

Well hopefully it will distract you from the fact there is no episode :)

And yet I'm still mad about it.
