Just having a rewatch and have to say I really like the casting of the mains. Li Le really manages that aloof, graceful, and cold persona that bounces off Wang Yun Kai's much warmer, adorable, sort of bumbling character.
I do like the contrasts, even Wang yun Kai's dimples make the character!
Having just finished watching My Stand-In I can see the similarities in the character types this author likes to write. Even if they have different background etc I can see the base character traits that seem to line up in each
this is such a racist and ignorant post 1) iQIYI has the Chinese version, they didn't upload it, yet they already…
Wow went off there didn't you.
I am aware on the distribution and what they upload, that it includes many BLs. If it seems that way didn't mean to read a it implying thst its not appearing on iQIYI because of mainland.
I'm not on webio like I'm not on many other socials so can only rely on what is coming from others there. Some of the Chinese fans I know posted that the main account of the show has been wiped clean and that the actors had to remove posts. They also indicated they were interacting with the actors on weibo where promotional material had been removed. I can only go by what they advised.
If you are advising that isn't the case then that is good news for both the show, show runners and actors. As well as viewers who want to discuss it in the platform.
But you also cannot blame people for not being happy with the censorship in the Mainland. That is not racism. It's fact that they do censor shows. Not just BLs.
The Weibo thing makes sense though. That's more or less in line with the existing policy spirit.Eh not sure why…
Yeah not sure on the iQIYI delay on the Chinese version. Hopefully it will be up shortly for those that have iQIYI subs. Maybe they delayed it to see how the Thai dub does in case there are further collabs between Thailand and Taiwan or China and they want to know how it would be received having it in the second production country's language
So word from Chinese fans is that the Chinese based actors have had to remove things to do with the series from their weibo accounts and have stop promoting it. Plus the shows official weibo account has been wiped clean as well.
Also the Chinese dub version has not been released on iQIYI as it should, only the Thai dub has. Not sure how it's playing out on other platforms. Looks like Gagaoolala has the Chinese dub. (I have to say it feels weird to watch this with Thai dubbing!)
I'm not surprised the Mainland has hit back in some way. Hopefully the airing will still continue somewhere and the actors aren't affected
Then of course there is Almond trying to get with Jumper, I am wondering if they will end up together.
Then I actually think it might be Latte and Lukpeach which would be good to mix up the pairings in a BL with a Het pairing. Although maybe Latte won't be part of an actual pairing because he's still in his fun and free era!
I selfishly wanted Champ to be guilty just because I think Prem would play the heck out of a good evil/villain…
Yes I clocked that and did wonder about Lydia and the scheduling of posts. Also she knew Champs password so she could have been the one that 'hacked' his account at the begining of the series

Yes, I will watch Prem in all the roles so I would love to see him play the bad guy. Closest I've seen so far was when he played Nat in Long Khong and to be fair he wasn't the worst of the lot.
I'm dying to know how this will end because we have 2 episodes left and the next episode seems to be pointing at Non again but as we've seen by the end of the episode we normally have changed our minds so are they going to show us something that redeems him and then throw us another curve ball and it'll turn out to be the stepmom instead. Because they've mentioned her dad a few times and it's very similar to Dr Kit and Ying mentioning her dad and turns out her dad is a bad guy.
They started talking about Lydia having a brother and I was like OMG are they bringing it right back round to Non? And then they just confirmed it, I thought they'd drag it out a bit!
I'm actually really enjoying this series. It so good. Normally I can guess the killer pretty soon but this show has kept me on my toes.
Well there are 8 Rooms and 10 Episodes so episode 7 is Nana and Episode 8 is Champ which gives us 2 episodes to wrap up and find out who the killer is.
I still have no idea from the stories we've seen :)

You can always submit an edit and see if they change it.
I would list it under China as well rather than Thailand.

Do I want to see him keep doing BL with Boun. Of Course.
Do I want to see him branch out and do other things. Hell Yes!!! I want to see Prem in all the roles :) Give me more.
I've actually never seen Nara who is playing Mint in anything before but I also really like her.

Grasping at straws here!!
Just sad it's not accessable as other shows so more people probably haven't seen it internationally.
