Same for me. It was just meh.

I wasn't dying to watch it every week but I didn't drop it either. I think the fact it was mid week kept me watching because I have nothing else to watch. Had it been a weekend show it probably would have been put on hold to watch later.

I don't think I'll remember much about this series

Just pop over to Google and search Google currency conversion. It's easy to use and you should be able to convert the Korean won into whatever currency you use so then you will have a understanding on the actual figures they are talking about.

Honestly! Why is it people always come out with this tripe of 'this character added nothing to the storyline' when it's a trans character or a lgbtq+ character in general.

Or the 'they are shoving the lgbtq agenda down our throats' line.

No they are just showing a character with a certain trait

Went into this worried as I liked S1 a lot and a sequel is always under pressure to perform as well. But I have to say this season was just as good as the first (looking at these comments apparently I'm in the minority on that front) and I like a lot of the new characters. Thanos (230) was a character I loved to hate. The guy was insane!

But I also went into this knowing that S2 and S3 where filmed at the same time/back to back and so I knew it would be a single story split across the seasons so I'm not pissed at the cliffhanger, I knew it was coming.

Can't wait for S3 and find out what happens. Invested in Cho Hyeon Ju (120) and I hope she survives. I also want to see if Park Gyeong Seok (246) is alive because I believe he is.

Love this series so much I've rated it already and I never do that before the show is finished!!

For me personally it's hiding the right spot with the comedy.

I know it will change and it will get more dramatic so will have to wait to see how that goes.

Also it's only 12 episodes long rather than the normal 30 to 50 eps

It's crazy to think how many shows are stuck in that 'vault' and how many will never see the light of day. Not just BL's.

I can only go by what I heard from someone that does have weibo. And now you've heard it as well.

Hopefully they can get the promo back up and running at some point. And hopefully the fans can discuss on weibo without too many problems.

Just having a rewatch and have to say I really like the casting of the mains. Li Le really manages that aloof, graceful, and cold persona that bounces off Wang Yun Kai's much warmer, adorable, sort of bumbling character.

I do like the contrasts, even Wang yun Kai's dimples make the character!

Having just finished watching My Stand-In I can see the similarities in the character types this author likes to write. Even if they have different background etc I can see the base character traits that seem to line up in each

I am aware on the distribution and what they upload, that it includes many BLs. If it seems that way didn't mean to read a it implying thst its not appearing on iQIYI because of mainland.

I'm not on webio like I'm not on many other socials so can only rely on what is coming from others there. Some of the Chinese fans I know posted that the main account of the show has been wiped clean and that the actors had to remove posts. They also indicated they were interacting with the actors on weibo where promotional material had been removed. I can only go by what they advised.

If you are advising that isn't the case then that is good news for both the show, show runners and actors. As well as viewers who want to discuss it in the platform.

But you also cannot blame people for not being happy with the censorship in the Mainland. That is not racism. It's fact that they do censor shows. Not just BLs.

Yeah not sure on the iQIYI delay on the Chinese version. Hopefully it will be up shortly for those that have iQIYI subs. Maybe they delayed it to see how the Thai dub does in case there are further collabs between Thailand and Taiwan or China and they want to know how it would be received having it in the second production country's language

Ah good to know it's available elsewhere. I'm preferring the original Mandarin version. That's why I'm watching it on Gagaoolala.

So word from Chinese fans is that the Chinese based actors have had to remove things to do with the series from their weibo accounts and have stop promoting it. Plus the shows official weibo account has been wiped clean as well.

Also the Chinese dub version has not been released on iQIYI as it should, only the Thai dub has. Not sure how it's playing out on other platforms. Looks like Gagaoolala has the Chinese dub. (I have to say it feels weird to watch this with Thai dubbing!)

I'm not surprised the Mainland has hit back in some way. Hopefully the airing will still continue somewhere and the actors aren't affected

Then I actually think it might be Latte and Lukpeach which would be good to mix up the pairings in a BL with a Het pairing. Although maybe Latte won't be part of an actual pairing because he's still in his fun and free era!
