I don't know if this is the correct translation or not but i just read the synopsis for episode 29. Dan Dan is finally fighting for her man for the 1st time

Episode 29 Preview (translated)

I won't worry too much if that end up happening. It might happen but i don't think Sara will have the last laugh if she do it. Every time Sara plan something towards Young Guk, something will spoil it. Here is some of it.

1 . find nanny who she think won't seduce YG - got Dan Dan
2. try seduce YG on family trip - her mom went into hospital
3. fire Dan Dan - end up making YG & DD get closer
4. try to fire Dan Dan again - SR end up got fired
5. try to kiss 22 old YG - got pushed by him
6. plan to spend time with YG - went amusement park with DD + kids.
7. force the engagement - all kids 100% hate her now
8. try to sleep with YG at hotel - YG got his memories back
9. leaked engagement news - DD learn the truth.

Actually i felt the same as you before this episode [episode 21-27 to be exact]. Today episode, especially last 10 minute change my view. The preview cement it. I hope my instinct prove me correct next week.

However, i agree it won't reach 35% tonight. Last night episode really scarred a lot of Korean viewers. I can see it happening on the episode where the engagement is properly broke off. My guess is it might happen next week. The reason is new year.

I hate it too but if i were to give a reason to her behaviour. This is it.

1. just started dating - Dan Dan just started to date Young Guk (early stage). He are not ready to announce the relationship before the amnesia. Dan Dan is the one who started everything [from confessing, accepting him & telling him she can wait].
2. witness - When she 1st learn about the [fake] relationship, multiple people acknowledge, from the mistress to the maid. So, she don't have reason to even suspect anything other than adultery.
3. Her dad - Dan Dan thought her father cheat on her mother with step mom. That influence her thought process
4. Sara - Dan Dan has not learn of Sara true personality, only that she been around for a long time in the household.

Really? i felt the opposite. In this episode, Dan Dan learn how wrong she is regarding the situation.

1st. Sara true personality - DD found out it was SR who leaked the engagement news to reporter. She also learn how SR manipulate YG into this whole mess.
2. Young Guk feeling - DD learn how YG is hurting from this situation, see it from his perspective and learn his true feeling. So, anything that cloud her judgement from before is completely eliminated.

I also love when YG ask DD why she didn't attempt to stop the engagement when they love each other. This is what i love most for today episode. YG "blame" DD for not doing (or at least try) anything and is causing him pain.

As seen from the preview, Dan Dan is like the old Dan Dan that most of us loved before the amnesia arc (bold and straight to the point). So, kind of surprise that you didn't like anything from today's episode.

100%. Dan Dan mention in the preview to leave everything to her after Young Guk mention he can't remember it. Then, she said something about courage [i don't understand the full sentence].

My presumption is since Dan Dan have all the knowledge she need now, she can understand why YG attempt to forget it. So, she will do what she do best.

I think the writer is wrong on the episode he said would reach 35%. I think he meant tonight episode (28) rather than episode 27.

Nah, you can see he purposely said he forget the last night conversation by his facial expression in ep 29 preview.

Same. Starting episode 21, i only watch the young character screen time and fast-forward (1.5x-2.0x speed) the rest (except mr park & anna kim).

As you know from the previous episode, Young Guk got his memories back. However, he lost all his 22 year one. Sara take advantage of that fact which piss majority of the viewer. Silver lining is Se Chan found out Dan Dan & Young Guk dated before. So, he team up with Se Jong in order to make Dan Dan their step mom.

Most probably it will be next week ep 26 or episode 27 by the latest. My reason is that will be Christmas episode

In terms of rating, Gentleman and Young Lady is doing really well. Episode 24 got 33.6% (1st) and 5.810m viewers!
