Notice quite alot of comments asking for the letter's content from the fortune teller at the very end, since they sub the dialogue but not the letter.
I will try my best to translate it, since its been years I used Simplified Chinese regularly in school and the letter is not only in Traditional Chinese but also contains idioms, it is also partially obscured by the FL and camera blur

Sorry to break it to you, I had the same feelings as you initially and thought I found a great 24ep revenge drama, but then the revenge arc is essentially completed at ep13, after that is a treasure map arc, and have no relevance to her revenge other than the villainous sis trying to claw her way back by sticking with the villain prince
Its a missed opportunity after a strong first half
I have watched quite a few Xu Lu's drama and only 1 Liu Xie Ning drama, but over here, Liu Xie Ning definitely outdid Xu Lu in the portrayal of the FL, despite only being in the first 2 episode. I can totally feel her desperation and helplessness when she was being triple-tag in the ancestral hall, subsequently set on fire, get whacked on her head by a flaming torch and watching as her maid fell and perished into the flames below. That ancestral hall scene was really good
Sadly the rest of the drama, dont live up to the first half of the drama. There are essentially 2 different arcs, the revenge arc in the first half and a treasure map arc in the 2nd half which had no relation to her revenge. Everything after ep 13, was filled with fillers and boring dialogues. The romance was not well done, the constant will they will they not, became really annoying after awhile.
And the 2nd sis was totally unrepentant and beyond hope. Even at the ending when she discovered the true story of her Xiao family downfall, and how FL's father has always loved her as if shes his own daughter, how she mistakenly murder the father and try to murder FL , she still believe the whole world owe her, and still went against FL and sticking with the villain Prince...honestly I really hated that the FL still felt sad for that sis's death
Same with Prince Yi, plot armour so high for this clown, running amok abusing his power right till the last episode. And he also have good kungfu skill which is almost on par with ML, its just ridiculous.
Also how the good characters always end up in jail or get accused just because the bad guys say so and so. They dont even need any proof, they can just accuse the good guys, and the good guys actually have to prove their own innocence, like wtf, really hate this type of plot. Its like the writer doesnt know how to write a smart villain to compete, so have to use this type of lazy writing to balance the power
Damn annoyed with so many evil characters, even the butlers are also evil wtf. The Luo's family butler when Xue'er was in charge and the Xiao family butler, spreading lies about FL's father to the 2nd sis, fueling her hatred
Honest review, just watch till epi13, when FL bought over the Luo Family's assets and threw the 2nd sis out into the streets. Everything after that is just boring and rage-inducing especially from ep19 onwards
Or better still, go watch Jun Jiu Ling instead, if you want something similar, FL changing face and getting her revenge.
Wanted to like this, but the editing is really bad here, from ep16 onwards, mic visible ontop of the screen, total cutting off the bottom screen in some scenes leaving just a black bar. Throughout the whole show, alot of cutting and jumping of scenes which make you go wtf just happen.
Stupid goofiness for no reason, its not funny if use repeatedly, like the fast-forwarding and stupid cartoon sounds when the characters run
Stupid abrupt ending even though its a HE. They were confronting the villain in the palace with all the side characters, then the villain holds the ML hostage and fled to a small hut in the woods followed by only the FL. ML activate some traps and FL use a knockout drug, and the villain falls to the ground unconscious, the leads embrace, random flashbacks of their romantic encounters and THE END
Like seriously wtf, we dont see what happen to the rest of the side characters, and what happen to the villain, they decided to just cut and end the show and use flashback to fill the remaining time zzz
Recommend to watch My Bossy Wife instead, where the leads characters are roughly the same, ML replacing his twin brother in the Bureau and FL is a strong constable. Coincidentally, the ML here also plays the same role in My Bossy Wife
For people who are curious, its a happy ending between the leads, but the way they ended it, is definitely outright calling for a S2, as the case wasn't exactly solved . The show ended with 2ML staying back in the capital to look for 2FL while the main leads depart to another kingdom to investigate

Glad they didnt drag this part out, because he came clean in just a few episodes + Both of them fell in love very fast, so romance was on pretty early + Strong FL, she fight, she slash, she KICK ass! + Even if we dont see much of them, theres alot of badass female fighters led by the FL. Shes the boss of a 'robin-hood'-esque sect. Later on, all of them join the Court of Judicial Review (Dali Temple) under the ML
- ML should communicate more - They didnt explain the story enough, it felt hollow and all you know is everyone is gunning for a name list - The writer doesnt know what to do with the Prince character, sometimes good sometimes bad.

Just a heads-up for future viewers coming here for romance, there is NO romance between the leads in this drama. Both of them have their own love lines. The FL and SML is in love till the very end, just that they dont have any intimate scenes because the ML is in her body. ML's love interest died around 3/4 mark of the drama.
The body switch happened in the first scene and the ending scene, so basically the ML is in the FL's body for the whole show, same with the FL. It would be awkward if there were any romance, its like kissing yourself haha
Watch this for the comedy, especially the FL(with ML in her body). Her speech and actions are hilarious!
This is pretty good! Its much better produced compared to other mini dramas. The CGI is also well done, its comparable to alot of full-length xianxia dramas.
1 thing I dislike is the 'villain trying to revive his gf' plot, its too shallow and takes up literally the whole series, while the xianxia heaven vs devil plot is like only in 1st and last epi. On the plus side, we get alot of cute interactions between the leads

Now devoid of her powers, the heavens no longer have to fear her, so they return her and ML back to the human world as 'mortals', with their memories retained, no amnesia bullshyt. We know this because the FL is retelling her story to her kid
Even though heavens returned them as mortals, they seem to be immortal, as the ending part, we saw their dead old friend returning as a new person, supposedly reincarnated, and the Leads telling him they have been waiting for him for hundreds of years
P.S. FL is so cute and adorable!!! Her facial expressions and smile is😍

Nope, this is not a harem drama, its barely a romcom as well, theres only some sporadic romantics scenes sprinkle throughout. Theres alot of scheming and politics going on, with a shit ton of villains.
ML does have a princess consort from the getgo and FL becomes his concubine 1/3rd into the drama. ML has no feelings for the princess consort and she knows it, shes not toxic or annoying, she actually becomes one of FL's friends, the FL also really respect and admire her
agreed, I felt the show started to lose its shine, once they started moving away from the goofiness of the earlier episodes. Not to mention, they kinda dragged out the 'who is the mastermind' plot, I mean its pretty obvious who the perpetrator was, but somehow they are just so fixated on the father for so long
