never thought id be this into a show about people who love to study maths

i'm hoping for a satisfying reconciliation or at least understanding between them. before i wanted her mother to yeet herself into the sun 😅

I have so many issues with CSS mother's parenting skills but i have to respect the fact that at the betrothal banquet she didn't know that LBY was on his way to save the day - and it didn't matter what CSS did he would protect her - but she still rolled her sleeves up and smacked a bish when they came to disrespect her daughter 😅

She always fights for her but doesn't coddle her when she needs to be told about herself <3

CSS: Why didn't you bring a footstool?

The scene where CSS lays it out to LBY was so satisfying! he insisted on marrying her knowing full well what she's like but he didn't talk to her about the palace politics to prepare her for what she was about to get into. knowing her personality, she can't stand by and watch someone she cares about suffer. and he is smart enough to realise CSS sees the empress as a parental figure now.

I'm not mad tho bc i think its an important part of their journey - getting to know each other and what is actually means to love another person based on what is important to them and needing constant communication to get you there.

i don't mind slow burn romances when they take the time to show the relationship grown and change

today's eps were focusing on CSS's life in the palace so we didnt get much CP action but it looks like we'll be well fed tomorrow and weds <3
