Me, too! Still curious to know the ML mysterious past ;D
I searched "bonus ancient detective" on youtube and there are 8 short videos which look like the right part of the show - not enough to total 2 whole eps but its a start! (no eng subs)
This could definitely be a series. I don't get how there can only be two more left. there's still so much I want…
i took her crying as a way for the writer to show the fear that many women experience in public places - regardless of how "strong" and independent they are - and the unintended threat than men can pose, not necessarily related to a specific personal trauma

i only discovered avenue x recently too, ive enjoyed her videos so far! yes we usually blame the script writer for plot holes and things that seem out of place so this made me realise that the director will often have much more power with decision making, especially when it comes to budget implications.
other than it being a web series, i would never have thought that the show was low budget as they did such a fantastic job with the sets, cinematography etc - better than many other dramas with big names!
i'm going to have a look for those 2 extra episodes she mentioned that were cut out!!
really hope they get a s2 with a different director :)
This is a really interesting video which talks about the original script vs the finished drama and the subsequent online spat between the scriptwriter and the director.
I'm planning on this one.. Is it worth a binge watch ??
ive watched it weekly but am planning a binge re-watch after it finishes next week so i'd say yes :)
its a warm, wholesome but surprisingly modern slice of life romcom that has fun playing with classic kdrama tropes. there's not so much plot drama but lots of character development so if that appeals to you atm, go for it!

i just watched this vid about the original screenplay vs the drama and there's an interesting bit at the end about the final scene...

SPOILER WARNING: only watch if you've seen the drama or don't care about spoilers
Also loved the friends in Sleuth of Ming Dynasty, although i will admit the drama would have benefitted from a shorter ep count.
