Is this somehow connected to "Boss & Me"? Feng Teng, Shanghai? Wish I could have seen Shan Shan one more time. Anyway if you watched the previous mentioned drama and you didn't like one bit then this is not your cup of tea because it's even worse. The only good thing about this c-drama is unreal smooth sailing of our two main leads. It was so so smooth that even the "bad guys" helped them get closer. It was like whatever they did they somehow managed to make it beneficial for our couple. So people who don't like fights, love triangles etc. would probably like this very much and add the fact that both leads don't doubt each other or waver at all. Downside is that they don't interact physically for the first third of the show but they do make it up later. Annoying dubbing (FL), also she was portrayed as beauty with brains but they somehow managed to downgrade that to office helper. Not much of a spoiler so sorry in advance but when FL worked for and IT company she asked herself how can she help while they were busy coding programs. I was like wtf girl? She is a major in computer science and a smart one. Where did her coding abilities go? I am a guy and even I was annoyed how they made her look stupid just because she is a girl in 100% male environment... left speechless and I was so fond of her until that moment. Other faults would be beyond cringy cgi. Just terrible so don't expect much from this. No idea how this managed to get 8.7 i score. Is there any good c-drama I wonder...

Oh boy I so hate c-drama because of all the dubbing and I pity people who have to listen/watch dubbed movies, shows, etc. My ears start bleeding at lousy lip sync and unnatural tones of people doing the dub behind the scenes and no matter how good they are they are never and I mean never gonna beat the original. I understand why Chinese market does that but again this is the main reason why I stay away from them and here I ended up watching this. Why you ask me? Well I am not gonna lie and just gonna say that the cover bought me. This was actually total crap considering the other non-c-drama shows I watched but again it made me watch till the end because I liked the main cast, had no annoying and overbearing misunderstandings, voices of reason and on the other hand some people who think that they are experts in love (FL friend - there goes the saying to never listen to your friend), really good ending and 180 degrees from the FL which I liked very much especially in the last few episodes where she was more than awesome, and all the hugging, skin ship and cuddling that I had to see (positive). The things that I didn't like are mostly spoilers of the plot itself so I am just gonna skip that and say that I didn't like the mute ML who by opening his mouth could resolve a lot of things but on the other hand he didn't weaver even for a second and knew what he wanted but I wish he was more proactive in explaining things to Shan Shan but again that was his/writers view of a rich guy who doesn't talk much and just takes actions which was very compatible with the Xue family's (Shan Shan) motto . The other major thing that really bothered me is a plot spoiler so not gonna say what it is but involves the secondary couple and ridiculous sudden change of mind of theirs. Third reason would be FL's father and his stubbornness on the last breath of the plot of the few last episodes. Yeah I know cliché and I guess we can put a price on their culture for this but I will never understand how did he come up with an idea to do that. From my point of view it had nothing to do with him, Shan Shan or his family but again have seen this too many times and it's a major minus every time. You are probably wondering what I am talking about but again spoilers. But actually all this was more than welcome because we had opportunity to enjoy major development of our lovely FL which was the best part and raised the score of this show by much from my side. Of course there are lots of other things that bothered me from plot holes to my lovely dubbing but here ends bashing of mine and if you have come this far then go out and see the Sun and don't listen to me.

So who won at the end?

It's his butler. You can see in episode 21 (15:45) that he walks on the street with the lady from the Interpol. The same lady who claimed later that she was sent by Madam X.

Started watching this only because I have read "Girls of the Wild's" up to some chapter 100 or so... Anyway at best first half is mediocre and I am being super generous by even saying this. You may think that this gets better after some episodes but it actually gets worse and worse until it looks like a show made for retarded people who don't know how to differ right from left or for some 15 years old groupie fan who came here to look at the main cast without even watching the show itself. Their acting is amateurish and you can see from miles that they were recruited just for boosting the views because they are apparently famous so if you are famous you get to act even if you have 0 talent in that. Main female lead was actually not so bad. I have read that she comes from an actor family so I guess she knows a little bit more than the rest but don't let me get started on the male lead hahaha... He was like a rock dropped from Mars to explore the Earth for the first time in his eons long life. A pure breaded alien completely lost in this world. Again I have read that he is a singer or ex singer from some famous group so I guess he got to be here because of that. No offence to him but I strongly advise him to keep singing and not appear on TV anymore in this form or any other.... I don't even wanna waste your time by reading all this concerning plot which included triangles, poorly written romance, characters who are there just to fill the time and all the ridiculous father/uncle drama and main cast reactions and choices and everything else that includes this giant waste of time. Actually there is one thing that I can approve here and that the opening itself and I don't mean the song itself but the scenes that were displayed smoothly and tricked us into believing that this is gonna have some awesome fist/leg fights or something like that but again the so wrong actors were chosen for this. Also the 2nd half had some really funny scenes but not even that helped this show from sinking deep into the Marianas Trench and the ending oooh man *facepalm*. I am lost for words. I wonder why people even made this and did this actually made money for people who made it? And me? I am so gonna foget about this by the end of this month and never ever see it again for the rest of my life.

Did anyone get why she left for several months at the end? Something like checking if she really likes him or something like that? I get it why he let her go, 'Cuz he promised to not be in her way to her mother and he promised to himself that he won't hurt anyone anymore so despite being sure that he loves her and that he doesn't want her to go he let her leave without a word. But the big question is her behavior at the end? I know he didn't say to her that he loves her so maybe she wasn't sure about his feelings but I think that's not the reason. Does anyone get it?

One year later hehe... Yeah I agree with you it had a really bland ending. It would have been so much better if they showed the kids hugging her in the end or something like that. Handshake just wasn't enough for me.

No worries. Yeah I know the felling of getting bored after watching them for years. It's like you can predict even the smallest twists because you have seen everything there is to see. Quite a troublesome feeling for people who like to watch movies/shows.

Well the difference between her and you is that she never had a boyfriend so I guess the idea of having one is holding hands at most. You can see her surprised face when he kissed her briefly and that was enough for her to forget everything and change her mind for a second so the idea of her sleeping with him never actually crossed her mind. I guess she just wanted to present herself as his girlfriend for a brief moment so their parents can split or that was mi view of her at least. We are thinking too deeply lol... who knows what was she thinking or how far she actually planed this.

Watched 15 minutes of the 1st episode and it looks really good. The only thing that worries me is the huge number of actors/characters. I have trouble recognizing yellow people's faces (me white) so I mostly watch modern k-drama and c-k-j-movies and here they all look the same to me. Different hairstyles don't help because again they are all the same and the clothes are too extravagant for me to remember them and names are killing me so the only thing I can rely are my poor face recognition skills and their unique voices. By the way do you know how many episodes this drama will have? Don't have a habit of starting something that's not finished so it went to "plan to watch" list.
