Yeah, I mean, it was only Ep1 so maybe after a while it'll already improve in this show? Like he slowly gets used to his character?!

In PB1 I also thought ah, fine it's his first role (though at times it was really crazy bad and it unfortunately ruined it for me in those moments).
It's now his 3rd (?) show and I'm a bit tired to find "excuses" for him (sorry that sounds harsh :/). But seeing Pavel I can't help myself thinking how great it'd be if his acting partner was just as good . Pooh too often breaks the story's illusion for me and I see an actor trying to act - you know what I mean?!

Anyway, it was only Ep1, let's hope for the rest :)

Hmm, so in your book, when people share opinions they are only allowed to voice them when they are free of any form of criticism. You must've never once voiced anything else than praise then. Impressive.

Improved? Thought he improved in Pitbabe 2 (not that it was particular good, but better, we were getting somewhere :) ), but I feel like it's stuck again in this one :/

Yes, unpopular opinion, but it's mine and I'm still happy for everyone thinking otherwise bc they don't see it that way, but... I find myself wishing Pavel had a different partner. I just can't with Pooh's acting.

Thought he improved a bit in PB2, but I feel it got worse again - hope that might just be at first and will get better again with later episodes.

Still hate the girl - nope, no empathy left.
And am furious the "dad" got away so crazy easy - definitely wished for a different ending for him, but that rarely happens in these shows with any bad-guy (hate it).

I had wished it was much more like movies 2 to 5 (the much more mature movies) and not just a bit better than movie 1 (which was sooo cringy). But alas...

God I love my green coloured red flag Hua Young to bits!! Or is it red coloured green flag? I think that changed in the middle there. Either way - love it.

And I love the effect it has on Sheng. With his family & society's expectations of S-Alphas he was so foreign to be the one someone cares about, but he started loving it pretty fast - can't blame him. Having someone like Hua Young constantly caring and fussing over you must be pretty nice =)

And finally I was intrigued with the 2nd couple's story as well. Sadly it's only one more episode :(
I'm greedy. I know 16 episodes is rather long these days, but I read somewhere that it was supposed to be 24 and now I feel robbed.

I would wish for a 2nd season (ok I definitely do anyway), but even though I don't mind Mpreg at all really, I mind kids xD 90% of the time they annoy me. But gimme season 2 =D

God I LOVE - L.O.V.E. - that at least one of the mains isn't in his early 20th, didn't just finish college or whatnot, but is an actual proper adult!!

Well I didn't before but since you didn't ask :D I personally am glad the 2nd couple doesn't have a lot of screen time. I don't feel anything coming from them nor do I feel anything for them, so yaih more Hua Yong & Sheng any day ^^

Seriously. Are there plot holes? Yes. Are bits and pieces cringy. Yes. Is the pacing odd? Sometimes. Other issues? Yes. Is it a 10/10. No. Is it still a 10/10 in my personal book nontheless. Big YES :D
It's like a mexican tele novela but Chinese style and I finally get how ppl can be so obsessed with it ^^


(Though fair enough I only care for Hua Yong & Sheng, I gave up on the other couple - didn't feel ANYTHING coming from them o.O anyway...)

Question regarding Ep.9 - why does Sheng ask who he is? Is it supposed to be pitch black or sth? But then again he can hear his voice, wouldn't he not at least recognize that? More or less same with the other couple.

Genuinely love the show, just sometimes - yet a bit too often - Thada stands there and the look on his face is soooo dumb. Like not a thought behind those eyes xD and it annoys me as much as it amuses me. Look sharp, dude!

I feel like in the end both deserve better. Which is probably why I don't care about them and started skipping their scenes. Waste of time, unfortunately.

Good lord. For real? How incredibly annoying. And only annoying, nothing else. Hmm maybe enraging 😅
But srsly, I mean, everyone has their own limit, but I can't stand it anymore since Ep.5 or 6, even if others still love it now, which I can hardly imagine... WHY? It's so pointless. It's the same thing over and over again.

So yes, I guess I will keep skipping, I act found it to be more fun that way too :)

Gotta admit I basically only really care for Hua Yong and Sheng 😅 the main "issue" with the other couple is going one for way too long now anyway. Could've ended in Ep7 and it'd be ok, but we're in 12. That's ridiculous. But maybe that's just me. Either way, it doesn't help or even IS the reason why I basically only care for the other two.
I even found myself skipping some scenes in the last two episodes to jump forward to the next scene with Hua Yong & Sheng 😭 wished it'd be different, but meeh.

hahaa at first I was like "whaaaaat, I love a good size difference", but now that I've seen the first episode - I SO know what you mean. It's not just that one if taller or smaller, it's like... no idea, one is a hobbit or the other a giant (size-like). Like they're not the same species xD
But true, it's ultimately ok and I can still watch it too. But yes, I really get it!

Arrghhh... I was SO damn excited when someone told me this show for ONCE will start with the couple already being a couple. Finally. Not them trying to find each other - tho not before ep9, then break up in Ep11 and back together 5min before the end - no, it's an actual plot around a couple, with couply moments, issues and fun.

But then: Amnesia arc. Meaning, not only does that destroy my excitement for the crazy rare PROPER couple-plot, no - for me an amnesia plot is the worst genre ever - well, right after bodyswap, that's even worse really.
Soooo frustrating for me.

(Plus, we'll have Santa yet again act more like a child than an adult. That was fine in P10L tho, but only just.)

Haaa, maybe this will be the very first amnesia plot I'll ever like? Because it's Perth & Santa at least? I really hope so.
