I just finished watching the extra eps, and indeed it was satisfying, but I didn't feel it because they did such a crappy job in dragging out the first 59 eps that they had to make 2 extra episodes just to please the audience and as you could see you were pleased. I have been watching dramas for a very long time, I know when dramas are poorly written and are saved because of the actors, and they are good actors. Plus, I’m a fan of Cheng Yi and Yang Zi's work, and I like her acting in these types of roles, and that’s why I stayed. But always remember true fans always tolerate their actors' BS dramas but are never afraid to call it out. This one wasn’t his best, Love and Redemption was his best wuxia.

Ok, guys, I'm finally, finally, FINALLY going to watch this drama which I know is tortuous because 1. the FL is too small and childlike, 2. Xu Kai did not look good at ALL LOL, he looked like crap, and 3. you could SEE he wasn't feeling the FL at ALL compared to his previous dramas. This chemistry was a hard one for him LOL. XD

Ok. So, this show was shit. LOL! I have seen better :/ It was ok. The chemistry wasn't there. It looked like Allen was forced to connect to Dil most of the time, that it fell flat and didn't show the deep passion and longing he had for her like in TMPB. The story, on the other hand, was ok and straightforward but wasn't intense and intriguing like love and redemption. Overall, it could pass.
Ok I do want Mark Chao in a costume drama and with Peng Xiao Ran but not this one from the sounds of it. TT
IKR! I absolutely agree with you. Mark Chao and that girl don't mix like oil and water. I don't feel it the connection, he needs someone close to his level of acting.
