I was smiling from ear to ear for the entirety of Dan and Yok's scene. Yok is never at a loss for words and knows exactly what he wants: Dan. I love his confidence and obvious flirting so much.
I'm curious to know what French speakers think about Theo's French. Did he get the pronunciations right?
Agreed and now that he's back in Thailand, I think having him mispronounce Thai words sometimes, make outdated Thai jokes, and not get how to operate in Thai society (like knowing how to not get ripped off by a bad taxi driver) are all more than enough for the audience to remember he's been away in France for a long time. He doesn't actually need to speak French at all anymore.
I haven't disliked a ML this much since Arthit in SOTUS. What a coincidence. Anyway, I really don't understand how/why it's so crazy to just articulate. "Hey, I care about you, but I want you to do you and be successful." Maze really didn't have to treat Phap that badly. What really pisses me off is he has no fewer than four people constantly telling him, "Hey, maybe stop being a dick and talk to Phap.", then has the gall to sit down and tell Nueng "I don't know what to do." -_______- I feel like I can't even ship the main couple anymore. Maze doesn't deserve Phap. #gotojapan
From the US to Thailand, French culture in media always has to be presented in the cringiest way possible. Eiffel tower backdrops, accordion music, and all...lol I knew what I was getting myself into before watching, but jeez....
I hate it that others say „Gun is a bad/terrible actor“ I mean yeah he maybe isn’t Ohm an Nanon but he isn’t…
You're right. He's not bad in general. It's just that in this series, his expression of "anger" just wasn't very believable (especially with the teeth thing). I think before this series, everyone always praised Gun. I don't know anyone who didn't love him in Love By Chance.
This was very light and very sweet. I loved it to be honest. I felt the chemistry between the leads and I felt the passion from Geum's character. The tone of the show is very dream-like and relaxing and I felt good after each little episode. I guess some people maybe wanted more from the kisses, but to me, at least on the part of the prince, I felt like he kissed exactly like how I'd expect the royalty of a medieval, confucian society to kiss their love interest for the first time. I'd totally recommend it. Even if you don't like it, you wouldn't have wasted very much time watching it.
I'm on ep. 3 and I'm all here for it. Lovely setting, lovely hanbok, and lovely music. I just think that it's weird when the prince and guard were marveling over all Eun Ho's "future" stuff like erasers and plastic buttons, they had absolutely nothing to say about his hair. Even if they didn't immediately say anything about it, when they were dressing him up to deliver the letter could have been another time to point out how funny he looked.
This website is available in five languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Italian. Sometimes, people will even translate specific show pages into other languages like Chinese and Korean.
Given how intense the trailer was, I'm going to lower my expectations to spite my initial reaction because I can think of like 10 ways in which this could possibly turn into garbage within a few episodes. BUT I do anticipate this one as it's different (something I like that I get to say so often about Thai BLs nowadays) and I find Ton to be handsome in the extreme.
Agreed. Either a longer duration of episode or making the mission scenes go more quickly, which I think they should.…
I thought the fireworks scene to be especially pointless after I saw Yok actually not getting caught. Like, it was pretty I guess, but...why? Maybe there's another reason. *shrug*

Hopefully, since the rest takes place in Thailand, we'll be spared any more cringe.

Phap, use your words.
Maze, if anyone deserved to get punched in the face, it was you.
Tharn, I love you.
