it's super interesting so far!! I'm not sure if it's BL but I can't stop watching either way Edit: It's so sad…
No, I don't really consider it BL, but it is a great show. Would have liked to see a second season!

I'm kinda confused by the summary .so the gay guy likes a girl wouldn't that make him bi /straight ?
He wanted to be what he considered to be "normal" and like girls.
He is not even a little bit bisexual.

So far, rather vague and uninteresting.Struggled to finish episode 2 for like a month, LOL.My overall interest…
It was rather uninteresting....
I was bored enough to watch the whole thing..
I kept hoping it would get better....
It did not however...

I read the article attached to the post you linked.I think you are drawing conclusions based on too little evidence…
@AnikaSingh I never argued whether it was a flop or not. I said the link provided was not proof of anything.
Neither do original air ratings/views necessarily prove something is a flop. Again, I'm not arguing if it is or not, I'm pointing out a flaw in your logic.
Some shows and movies become hits in reruns.
For example, have you seen the original Willy Wonka movie from 1971? Would you believe it was originally considered a flop at the box office only to make a come back later in TV/VHS/DVD etc...

https://www.buzzfeed.com/sam_cleal/movies-we-love-that-flopped-at-the-box-office

Arguments need to be rooted in facts and time will ultimately tell. Far too soon to say it was a flop just because of initial ratings.

ALL of that aside, I was not happy hearing that they removed the BL content, even though I've never actually read the webtoon involved.

So, if it does somehow recover in the future, it will probably NOT do so with the direct support of BL fans since there are so many actual BLs that can be watched instead.

Reminded me of China and the butchering of BLs there, but at least they can blame their government for it.

You seem to be confused on the difference between a flop and mismanagement.
A show can be a success and have the business end be mismanaged.
In any event, I'm not interested in discussing it further.

IT FLOPPED SO HARD THAT THE ACTORS STILL HAVEN'T BEEN PAID 😭😭😭😭 https://x.com/soompi/status/1808512020213362789
I read the article attached to the post you linked.
I think you are drawing conclusions based on too little evidence unless you have more information than that.
It MAY have flopped (I don't know).
# Or they may not have gotten paid by the distributors yet.
# Or it may be that they never properly secured the funding in the first place.
# Or... it could just be an example of bad money management, especially if they are using the proceeds of the first one ('High School Return of a Gangster') to pay for the production costs of the other ('Spirit Fingers') in anticipation of more funds coming in.

So, there are a lot of possible reasons for this very sad situation.
I tend to lean towards mismanagement personally, but that's without any evidence either. I suspect they either did NOT secure the funding, or they used the funds that were meant to pay the actors to pay for the second production. (Again...this is PURE speculation based on one article that only really stated that the actors were still owed money and the actors union got involved...no details beyond that in the article really)

I finally watched it.....
On the plus side there are a couple of cute Korean guys....
On the minus side....well they seem to have been listed at great detail by others already... no chemistry, weak storyline, etc...

I love Mew...I have not watched this yet....it got a poor rating...but that won't stop me!....yes Mes deserves…
Yeah, caring about their sexuality is a waste of time. Care only about whether they can act the role convincingly. If you can't handle the romance/intimacy/kissing in a BL role...don't take the role! (Saying this in general...haven't watched this series yet...keep putting it off).

OK. So I watched it FINALLY after years of it being in my plan to watch category.
With a name like 'Make Our Days Count' you expect there to be a tragedy somewhere in there.
But, I have to agree with most people.....the way they did Episode 10(or 19&20 if you watch the 20 episode version) is beyond STUPID.
Up till then it was 'OK', not my favorite by any means, but not bad.

Also, the adult/minor relationship tag is not accurate, he's a senior in high school true, but he's 18 (maybe 17 at some points) and Taiwan's age of consent per ageofconsent.net is 16.

Its sad how just because he acted in a BL when korean society wasn't that accepting both leads didn't get good…
Very sad. I want/wanted to see him in more stuff!!!

He has passed that stage. FSMM was the last one.
Let's hope. Not that it's not fun to see him take his shirt off, but the storylines are...tedious...

He needs to branch out and play different characters, it seems like all these romantic comedies/dramas where he's with a 'strong female lead' are the same basic (very tired) tropes. And he feels more like a supporting character in them than the male lead. We know he has the ability, he just needs to get better scripts/productions!

Really .I don't see the resemblance in this drama .but yes when I googled him his pictures with long hair parted…
Same here!
When I first saw him in an interview (for my stand in) I thought it was Phuwin at first and had to look closer to see that it wasn't!

Oh man... This is seriously confusing and the end has no meaning. I mean why made the second part... just to flee…
To be specific they don't allow happy endings for criminals (or anyone they don't like really.....).
Part of their social programming to convince the common populace that you can't have a happy ending if you break the law. (Unless of course you are one of their politicians)
