I have rewatched that drama like 15 times. I rewatch twice a year sometimes, I am not even kidding.

You can tell that so much was edited and cut out but I am giving them a pass because the lead’s chemistry and communication blew me away and those fight scenes especially the last fight was🔥.

I have finally gotten around to rewatching this drama.
When he said in ep16 “if you don’t, how can I make it come true for you”? When they had a mini celebration for her birthday and he asked her what she wished for. OMG 😍😍😍
How did I miss that the first time though?

I can’t even begin to stress how true this comment is. I don’t watch a lot of K-Dramas, I am more of a CDrama watcher so I don’t know how bad it is on the KDrama side of MDL or any other review sites but I will tell you this CDrama feels alot worse, fandoms are just rating 10s for their faves, they don’t care if the plot is good , if the acting is good, you will see them say things like, “if you are a fan of xyz or like xyz please rate all 10s” and not “if you believe this drama deserves 10s with how you felt while watching please rate accordingly”
For Every popular traffic idol actor I deduct .5 and .3 from the popular traffic idol actresses (for example if the rating is 8.7 then it’s really 8.2 for the actors and 8.4 for the actresses) for that drama because I know it’s just a bunch of their Stans rating 10s.
Also god forbid you don’t like the drama, the mob hive will descend on you like you are devils evil spawn, how dare you not like the drama, how dare you not to say the acting is the greatest thing you have ever seen, you then are branded a hater and an anti, because all their faves are the greatest actors in CDramaLand and woe betide any one who disagrees which is laughable to say the least because mind you majority of CDrama idol actors can’t act worth a dime.

Altho I have read the spoilers and knew what the final choices were going to be, I was just able to finally complete it now.
Despite strong unfair tactics of sabotage, manipulative editing and obvious plants by the PD crew my ship sailed through
Jimin, my gorgeous kind hearted man, what an absolute treasure you are. I adore you so freaking much
JaeYeon, my beautiful soft spoken elegant princess, what a jewel you are, I adore you so crazy much
I love you both so freaking much, individually and together.

I haven’t started the drama yet, waiting for it to end before I start but I do come to the comment section once in a while to read the thoughts of people to make sure I am not saving a drama to binge watch that ended not being generally positively received

You are absolutely right and I for one I am glad I do not like the same things as majority of MDL viewers seem to like and enjoy, I shudder at the thought of being mediocre.
Justifying people rating down a good and well acted drama because they got their feelings hurt that they didn’t get 2 more kiss scenes or whatever it is they were expecting is lemme borrow your words bad form and deserve to be clowned. Besides no one is against romance, it was never the focus of the drama in the first place no matter what the clowns (once again borrowing your words) down rating the drama say to justify their whining.

It’s so funny how the people claiming the drama wasn’t that good afterall are saying this because there was no romance or the romance was not up to what they were expecting. What a complete ass joke.
This really just shows the level of the average CDrama viewer here on MDL, little wonder mediocre and badly acted dramas gets such high ratings here because it has romance to fulfill whatever delusional fantasies they harbor.
This is a revenge drama and it never pretended to be anything else + the FL said several times to the ML that all she wants was her mom and a place to call home, that she wasn't looking for the “you are the only one for me and I will love only you till death do us part” type of romance, so if you are disappointed due to whatever expectations you had, that’s on you.
I am all for romance but the lack thereof doesn’t negate a good drama especially when the focus of said drama wasn’t romance in the first place.
The constant disappointment I feel reading comments here on MDL drama after drama is frankly overwhelming. Just feels like a cesspool of no substance and surface level people.

PS: if you feel the need to reply me with any self righteous indignation, I employ you to cease and desist because I will just know that you are triggered and hence one of the people I am talking about, therefore you are not worth my time
