I also agree with the people replying under your review. This drama comes across as so pretentious and the leads having hero complexes which would have been fine for me if I actually believed in the characters and the setting. A war zone where everyone is kumbaya-ing and the leads having emotional moments amidst bomb detonations.

I am really really trying to give this drama a chance but the more I watch the more it’s looking like I am going to have to drop this after all.
Why the hell did they have to make the Fl act so stiff and like a lost puppy, she looks like a deer caught in red-lights during all her interactions with the ML, I get that she is attracted to him and interested in him but she’s not a little school girl, she’s a freaking war reporter.
The way she behaves around him is so off putting and I am fast forwarding some of their interactions because I just can’t stand it, so I just can’t take her as a professional war reporter seriously
Does this get any better because am currently @ ep3 and I am just frustrated with both the FLs characterization and portrayal of said character and the overall slow and unnatural nature/movements of the drama

I have been waiting for this drama to end before I start watching, I am currently at ep2 but something just feels off with it, everything just feels so unnatural, the movements, the way the dialogues are said, all comes across as acting, which I am well aware is what they are doing but IMO good acting should come off as natural.
I have liked the FL in a previous drama but she really isn’t doing anything for me here so far, will keep with it though and hope it improves because I have been waiting very patiently to watch this drama but right now its really not giving me anything @ all

The mob & victim mentality on MDL is ridiculous. So anyone that rates a drama low is a hater.
That means if you have rated any drama low then you are a hater. You fangirls/boys on this site really need to give the whole “antis are rating it low” rhetoric a rest. This may come as a shock especially to those who lack common sense, but sometimes people don’t just like a plot/script, acting or vibe of a drama and nothing to do with your fave idol.

Three is no real palace politics like in historical dramas but the princes are competing for the throne so to speak. The 2nd part of the drama is focused more on the princes competition for the throne.

None of your idiots are going to be the ones in a relationship with her choice, only Sian is going to be the one dating the guy if her and her final choice do decide to date.
The final choice did not come down to inferno fans/viewers choice, the choice is and was Sian’s choice alone to make
I have watched so many dating shows and some times my faves didn’t end up together but going online and to their personal pages to bash them for a choice that is supposed to be theirs and theirs only is crazy to say the least.

Well originally he did after the fight with the dark river people, but in the special episode he was alive. So I guess that because of people’s displeasure about his death, they did the special episode.

My girl Jeon Yeo Been, you played Hong Cha Young to perfection and I adore you both.
To the epic crazy duo Han Seok and Miss Choi, you were a match made in villain TV heaven and oh how I hated you both but I do give you your flowers cos your psycho crazy was one for the books, your final rewards were so very fitting and satisfying, just keep dancing Miss Choi, “he he he awesome” and keep atoning Han Seok…
To my Geumga Plaza family , I enjoyed every single bit of the chaotic mess you all were, I was there for it all.
My hopes and dreams of a S2 although while admittedly unlikely to happen will still burn ever so brightly in my heart.
