the people in this drama all seem awful except probably the main leads...i'm not even gonna lie. They are all…
People in small communities can be like that though. I live in (and grew up in) a small town myself, and there is a really nasty side to local politics. She's a blow-in, and she's not welcome - on a lot of people, she made a bad first impression. Fortunately, she wins them over. I admire her fortitude and tenacity (and ability to forgive).
I first saw the FL actress in Awaken, where she plays a hot-headed young detective, and I wasn't impressed. But in this drama, she is totally different - I can't imagine anyone else playing her character. She brings so much life to Yeo Reum.
I don't see how you can't like this if you like adult romantic comedies, its so charming and well done.
Eh, I don't really like it, for various little reasons, but not really one I can name. I'm not convinced by the romance between the main leads. The only reason I'm still watching it is boredom.
I do get that most people love it though, just not me.
Anybody know where this is streaming in the US? Or is this going to be like with the Disney+ dramas where we're…
It's on Viki and Viu. I have no idea if it's available in the us on viki, and I don't think viu is at all (could be wrong though).. but usually when a drama is on disneyplus, it's not available anywhere else, so I don't think that will happen.
I really hope kdramas return to only having 1 season, a great drama doesn't need a less exciting sequel sigh.…
Romantic Doctor 2 was, in my opinion, more enjoyable than the first (I dropped the first). Hospital Playlist 2, being the kind of drama it was, maintained its heart-warming tone. Missing: The Other Side 2 was a bit more directionless than the first, but still wonderful.
I agree though, that sequels are usually flops. Stranger 2, Good Detective 2, and others weren't very good.
Does Cha Eun Jae get any better? Her character for the first few episodes is really frustrating me because she…
She does! First time I watched this, she was the final straw that made me drop the drama, but I gave it (and her) a second chance and ended up enjoying it. I'm still a bit ambivalent towards her actress, and I don't love her character, but she grows a huge amount. And she's very human. There are enough other likable characters that it becomes tolerable once her behaviour improves a bit.
Well, that ended on a cliff-hanger like I expected. But episode 6 was also a bit of a... well you could feel it wrapping up the first arcs, so it didn't exactly feel incomplete. April 7th is not too far away, fortunately.
Otherwise, it was very fun. I do love serious and intense detective thrillers.
Why is SITR bashed so much???Can anyone tell me under/with spoiler?
Okay, I haven't finished it because it didn't really hook me in the first 3 episodes, so I'm probably not the best person to answer, but no one else has. The most common complaints are these: - The writing of the FL, she's apparently immature and and annoying, and many people don't understand why the ML likes her. - The FL's mother is the main antagonist. She's overbearing and unpleasant. - The ending, it was rushed and not satisfying.
(Also, I didn't call it boring. I implied that I'm watching it because I'm bored, and it is better than being bored.)

But most dramas are still just one season.
