TBH, I am just really happy someone's got JeongWoo's back - I mean, NSC is even keeping tag of his meals, making…
I think it also out of guilt, that he initially treated him like a trash, just like everyone else. But then he just wondered why the constant hostility towards GJW and why GJW is so persistent on staying inspite all of their hostility, why he kept getting accident and not taking care of himself just to find tbe bodies and wanted to find out the truth, He could just leave afterall he had served his time. That's why he decided to find out the truth because of his detective instinct then it developed into teaming up with GJW. He's kind of being man own up to his prejudice against GJW in his own way, lol. So yes, be got his back and be like his joker guardian lol. I mean it's really entertaning the way he put his weird smiles on his face while messing up with those evil chief of detective and chief of police πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

Title Black Out Spoiler
Today's episode broke me. "you are the only person I can trust" I felt that. Just for him to screw the guy's son…
I think when he said that to his best friend he already knew he was being screwed by his best friend, he knew already that his son was framed. He just wanted to make a point to him, that he trust him, and the chief got that point but not feeling guilty at all because he just wanted to cover uo for his son and those friends of him who were all jealous of his success and his family, especially he has a smart son.

That's why even he couldn't do anything at that point, everything was a set up to make his son a scapegoat, so he said he trusted his friend and he looked at the situation in front of him, his son will not escape jailtime and it's better to look for a shortest term. But he didn't follow the chief advice to scrap the car, and he probably made his own investigation and I think he knew it wasn't his son exactly because of the evidence they used against him, his bloody muddy shoes. He gifted that to his son, but it's too small for him so he never wore the m. Then when he got the car back, he knew immediately things actually not right with the car. Because of his son wasn't a reckless driver, he might probably tell the bump on the car, from the accident caused by an amateur driver. That's why he hid the car immediately, first he went to the scrapping yard to make impression that he scrapped the car, but he just made cancelation on its plat number, then hid the csr in that container. He kept the document hidden among the letters probably with hope if somethung happened to him and his son get.out of jail he'll find the car and investigate it.
He didn't sell the warehouse also because it was the crime scene, besides not selling the house and that secret container garage.
While he sold his other properties to pay the compensation for the victims fsnilies.

Even more heartwrenching is he probably aldo killed by the best friend. He confronted him and it got physical and he killed him. But again covered it up as natural death. It's tragically sad what happened to ML and his parents.

I actually had the same reaction as you at that scene, the look on his eyes when he said that was a broken heart look of a friend. He knew he was betrayed and his friend knew that he knew. The look on his face said it all.

Yes, that's why the crazy actress was amused when she was offered the drama script with that title, snow white must die. Because it was real for her, Da Eun was dead and she thought she should be the one and only snow white for ML.

Title Black Out Spoiler
- Another episode, another "I want to burn everyone and everything" feeling.- Honestly, I was a bit frustrated…
I think GJW didn't know what happened to his car, so all he could do now is to find the witness of the accident that jerk of a chief detective told him in the investigation. He told the detective he had to do something, anything. So he did that with that scooter girl, only then the detective told him about the car that based on the record his fafher took the car back (under chief police suggestion to be.scrapped ). And when they talked about what might his father did with the car, he thought he might be scrapped it, so they went to that scrapping company..

- I think ML's father already felt something is off seeing the persistence of the chief that ML is the murderer when they both know what kind of person ML is. His father believe his son is not a murderer, not just because he know his son is a kind heart, and father's instinct but also because his son is a smart person. But he had to accept it all because of the circumstances were not in ML's.favor. I guess he already knew his son was framed because of the only evidence, the muddy bloody shoes. ML never wore them shoes because the size were too small. He bought it for him and he never wore them. But as much he asked the chief, the chief persisctence and odd behavior only add to his suspicion and not just him but aldo the people, he could pnly bear with it all and do as the chief said focus on reducting the sentences,.paying compensation to the victims families and so on. But yes, unbeknown to the chief, the hid the car. He sold all of his property to pay.compensation.money excepy the house, the warehouse which is the crime scene, and that container where he hid the car, expecting one day when his son get out of jail, they can re-investigate the case.

And I suspect when ML was in jail, his fafher did his own ivestigation, and that made the chief police upset they had an argument and accident happened (his father probably killed by the chief either intentionally or accidently) but the chieef covered it up also as natural death, or accidental death., because his father might have found something.

- the detective is smart, it wasn't by luck ML found the document aboutnthe container where the car was hidden. The detective told him to find whatever document related to the car at his house, and his father might have left it at home.for him to find, so he found it. And I really the way the detective putting the jerk chief detectve and the chief police on edge all the time, he already figured.them out, and he just had to play along with putting a "smile" face and act like he just fillowimg their order, he had to do that so he coukd keep on investigating and try to fish them out. If he just go frontal with them, they'd probably kicked him out and shut the investigation for good..he had to make them had not choice but to re-open the investigation by the book. He's.mart, he's sarcastic, but he's actually ruthless too, look at how he treated that rapist sob police. He's kijd of a joker. Ruthless with smiling face.

- I sus.NG went back to ML's house,.maybe to check on him, to keep him home in case he's suddeny wanted to go to w/house, or maybe to look for the car key, thinking ML.took the car key home, because he was driving that day and he probably forgot.to put the key back.to where he used to put it in w/house because he was too upset, but the car key.probably still in the car and he just.didn't remember he forgot to take off the key, that's why we didn't see anyone took the car key (or maybe it was there and chief police took the key.out and make ready.the car to be used.to.transport the body). Whatever purpose it might be, I think she left to ML't house that night, and when she camenack to w/house everyone was gone, instead she saw Da Eun and the doctor there. I think she witnessed Da Eun being murdered there. And she picked up the doctor's ring. Which later she used to blackmail him.
I also suspect she might be lacing ML's drimk.with sedative to.make him black out and not remembering things.clearly of the day when he woke up just couldn't.pinpoint the timing when she did that, or she didn't do that at all, b3cause when she was drinking with him, ML.clearly said he was drinking but not drunk and when she left it seems like the bottle almos.emptied.out, but maybe that's not.the case, he probably got.drunk and passed out. And I suspect also since ML.told her the door.pass.code, she might aldo be the one who stole ML's shoes and put the shoes on crime.scene.

She is totally crazy. She wanted to punish ML because he got mad at him when she told him about Da Eun, and told her to get out.of his house. And at the same time wanted to prevent him from moving from the town. She's jealous of the two girls who were closest to him, and upset that he only see him as a friend but she's kind of not in his inner.circle. that's how he ordered the boys to get rid of the body, and by that she made them.under her control, his closest friends. She got.what she wanted, punish ML and made him stay rven it means he's framed and jailed. And she could act like carimg friend now her cmpetitors are.gone. she wanted him to be punished and then only have her as somone he could trust and depend on, because.if he's not framed, he probably will leave the towm sooner, and he would never.even want.to have anything to do with them.all.anymore, evem hate them all. So he had.to be frmed and stayed and being dependent on her. Real crazy snake..

He's not the villain, instead he's the patriarch of Zhang Clan, the first who laid foundation of the Zhang clan's…
Idk why MDL put "related content" with tomb series, it kind of misled.

I thought it related to tombs series eventhough it is entirely independent and original story on its own. That his might be the story of Zhang Family progenitor.

But it seems like it has nothing to do at all with tomb series, it is totally different story from probably another novel of another writer πŸ˜…

Thanks for explaining, and someone should take down "related content" with tomb series. ..

Have a good time 😊

Title Legend of Zang Hai Spoiler
He's not the villain, instead he's the patriarch of Zhang Clan, the first who laid foundation of the Zhang clan's…
Ah Okay, my comment was based on the "related content" thought that this somehow related to Tomb Raiders stories of the Zhang.
But in the novel though the writer hasn't writing novel about the ancient Zhang or Wang, only references to how the conflict started.

But if this drama related to those stories and but entirely a new written story to give background history of the previous series. Then my comment stand. You know the Wang clan not necessarily came about at the same time as the Zhang family. The man named Wang appeared when the Zhang already a houshold name, an established clan name. So he might came in later generation, while this story again if it is somehow has to do with Tomb stories, then it is the story of how Zhang clan began.
And the name, it is common indeed for people who changed their name, assumed another name for the reason as stated. Then they kept using the that name is also common, historically or fiction. It's common practice especially when you enter to work in Palace using with that name. You can't just change your name back to its original name because it would mean you deceiving an emperor which means death penalty. So he may keep on using the name Zhang.

And if this has nothing to do with those stories, still ML is not a villain. That's we can agree with.

Let's wait for the drama to be aired then we will know what it is really about 😊

I hate to say this but if na gyeom is the killer ill be very sad Now i understand this more...she keeps stalking…
She isn't the murderer but she's very much involved in covering it up, and she actually was the one who planned to rid of the body of Bo Yeomg (there will be twist because she wasn't dead yet when she fell down the stairs, she was just fainted and severy injured). She knew everything but played innocent and being helpful. She didn't help him out of her genuine care but her selfish obsession over him. She thought ML should be punished for not noticing her love for him. She's nasty and her betraual will hurt ML the most because he genuinely trusted her as the only friend who was there for him and his family. All what she did after he got out from jail was to prevent Ml for finding out the truth and wanted him to be hers.

And if you remember, the drama offered to her to star as the main, which she found interesring and amusing, is the title-sake of this drama "Snow White Must Die". She might not be the murderer but she's a cruel nasty villain like the other villagers.

so you are telling me the stupid chief, covered up all the shitty doings of these boys while his son was only…
There's more to the story than just his son/sons involvement in Bo Yeing case, there's also the case of Da Eun that he also covered up and had ML to be the fall guy of the murder.

You ssee the two rapists friends just like their parents gaslighting Geun Oh to make him feel it was his fault chasing Bo Yeong downstairs for her to ended up fell and hit her head. They made him felt guilty over it. And Geun Oh was a timid person, he had panick attack and mental break down. He truly believed it is his fault Bo Yeong died. Then his father came to see the scene and the two rapists and the actress were there telling a made up story to him. While his son unable to speak due to mental breakdown, so he just wanted to save him and thinking his son caused the death and right away sent him away. He then preocupied how to discard the body , clean up their tracks from the scene and covered it all up. There will be twist about Bo Yeong murder case that chief will be shocked as well regarding Bo Yeong's.death and his other son's part in both cases. They're who involved in both cases would go mad trying to blame each other and trying to save their own necks as Su Oh will drive them all crazy.

She's not the ultimate villain, because the ultimate villains should be the murderers and how they felt not guilty about their crimes. But she definitely the ultimate snake for ML as she schemed against ML but in front of him she acted like an angel. ML never suspected her because she's always there for him, but then it was all an act to get his trust and his heart, the ultimate betrayal and broken trust she will cause ML to suffer.

Waiting to find out what Ha Seol is really doing in that village. Is she related to the Da Eun somehow? And does…
It's already told she was on leave on her study, she has no relation ti Da Eun. When she went to village and liked it there and found good friend Su Oh there, so she stayed. Then ML got out of jail, she became a curious cat to know what's really going on because everyone is hostile toward ML and his mom, but Su Oh acted suspiciously different from the rest of them.
The detective's wife death also had nothing to do with the case but gave pretext to the detective attitude towards criminals I think, he started of very judgmental and no non-sense excuses.

It's indeed about trust issues. People you trusted turned out to be the villains and the person you suspected the most turned out to be the innocent one. Almost everyone is indeed guilty of scheming and conspiring against ML, screwing the investigation, and plotting to save their own necks. Insane village!

No, they modified the story. There was no Zhang Jiuri and Zhang Nian in the novel. The old friends who went out…
Yes, except the drama provide us with an alternative ending and provide some hints about where the stories actually go.

Tbh, i really like all the adventures, but the more you read and the more you get curious about what exavtly the big secrets the Zhangs have to keep and went to such length to keep, by scheming, setting deadly traps, killings here and there. And what is the ultimate that had to be hidden from the world. Where's Wuxie's uncle and what he's after to make his own nephew get involved with without really knowing his purposes.

As Pangzi always complain to Wuxie when he explain things but Pangzi which in his opinion too complicated. Pangzi is a simple and straight to the point person. He's kind of telling Wuxie that he said alot of things, with many words, but basically tells nothing at all.
