*sigh* do we really need to go this overused breakup routine in last 4 eps of series??

true villain is the writer who can't give decent characterization to anyone outside of ML or maybe his niece.

premise has so much potential than just being a mediocre revenge series against rich and powerful :/

the problem isn't the fact that she wants to 'protect Ga On'. its that writer made her character nothing outside of that. I said this last week as well. there is literally nothing we know about Soo Hyun outside of the fact that she loves Ga On and became a cop to protect him. also has a hard time overstepping moral values like Ga On. its sad coz she can be utilized in the story in a better way easily.

you know why it feels nothing special coz writer did a poor job in world building and establishing the premise. or not giving a decent background to any other character than 2 main males. or dumbing down 2 SLs to make ML look cool. I mean what was the purpose of him showing up to catch the dude who was running a cult??
acting is not entirely flat but this mediocre script is not doing them any favors esp SML. he sticks out in some scenes :/

holy moly this one is dragging like a mf. seriously doesn't needs any more than 6 eps.

I don't get why didn't writer tie up Soo Hyun's character as a way to look into apparent suicide of old guy (foundation chairman). or the guy who was head of president's cult. or Sun Ah. like make her work with 'K'. Yo Han spent weeks to try and bring Ga On onboard for no special reason but draws the line for Soo Hyun. her character can be def given more scope outside of Ga On :/

too many viewers here are missing the point of Ga On moving out when this is probably the only time his reasoning made sense. he saw someone take their own life and person who means the world to him had to break her own morals to cover his ass. even that guy who collects intel for Yo Han told him to be ready to lose himself if he continues to walk this road.
Soo Hyun being disappointed and angry in him was all understandable. he never tells her anything about Yo Han or his plans so how is she supposed to know what they're trying to do here.
I'd say the disappointing one is Min Jung Ho who's fails to see that his campaign against Yo Han is being used by other powerful people to turn their society into fascilandia. He's too old and experienced to not realize this :/

writer makes second leads do really dumb shit only to make Yo Han appear like a knight in shining armor and to save their asses. its lazy writing tbh. like Ga On touching a dead body with bare hands, Soo Hyun picking a fight with a horde of bad guys w/o a plan while she's travelling with a disabled kid etcetera.

If I remember correctly 'Do you like Brahms' had way too much angst and miscommunication around ep 10-14. it almost became unbearable to watch but the closure was done nicely :/

I like 'friends to lover' dynamic unfold onscreen. I don't like every one of them coz both execution and acting has to be good for it to work for me.

'Into the Ring' main couple were lovely :)

'18 again' did a decent job with parent trying to repair relationship with his children and his own father. romance aspect with his wife was just okay :/

romantic portrayal of both MLs was done badly in that series. writer sacrificed FMC for the sake of pushing weird love triangle whatever b/w 3 leads. even SFMC was pushed to cameo role to show 2 grown men engage in a cockfight over a woman whose first priority was supposed to be her career :/

'becoming friends with bullies' part was complete and utter bs. one of them tried to assault girl on live feed. shrugged it off in like a week or smth.
FL was done badly by screenwriter. felt like she was only inserted in story to sell hetero romance. and side characters were written very superficially :/

I think it'll either drop in November beginning or next year :/

cop's character in a crumbling society adds a good dimension to the story since she's on the ground and sees the problems firsthand everyday. both judges cannot provide a perspective that her character can. but the writer has decided to make her character nothing outside of SML :/

if this series spent an ounce of time spent in Yo Han's home on expounding perspective of cop, we would not be annoyed by her.
so far, we've seen that she's only here for SML. no background, no character history or talk to anyone outside of SML's circle. she appears in flashbacks to hold back SML or treat his injuries. her use in the story is simply being an emotional brace for SML.
tbh even Sun Ah is not given much to work with outside of Yo Han but atleast we know there's a gross history of her being abused by adults which skewed her perception of the world. the next couple of eps are important for her character. it better not be about SML braiding niece's hair or having meals with Yo Han.
