If you look closely, the special episodes editing is more focused on the emotions of Lan Wangji. He has more reaction shots. Different angles. And more focus on the loveline. Bromance? Really? Those held gazes, and everytime Wuji is being scored in the background whenever there is a substantial emotional ambiance between Wangxian. It is recommended to watch this after the 50 episodes because you will get to see more angles, but less adventure.
Most people just don't bother with the drama they don't like. They just move on to other dramas or rate it with the thing they deserve. But some users here just created an account to btch around why CQL got 9.3 like this drama killed someone, and I don't know why lol. Kinda reminscent of the way ppl gang up on WWX.
The rewatchability of this show is so high that every rewatch is a whole new experience. Be warned that this show has no end. Because they showcased it in a way that the end is the beginning and it's just a loop. Everything will make much more sense on more rewatch. Plus the addicting factor of the chemistry of the leads on and off screen. You will consume anything in the MDZS universe and you will never get over this drama. It will become a big part of your life. 1 year after CQL and we will always get our hearts where we left it.
We will watch other dramas, but where will we take ourselves back? Here in CQL. It felt like home.
I know she's now the princess of romcom. She makes characters cute instead of being irritable. She has mastered the art of softness haha that even though most of her dramas don't take itself seriously and mostly comedic, I wanted to see her in a more serious romance role. She has the depth. Petition for a tragedy hahaha
Been watching this before when it was airing. The good thing about this drama is that it has streamlined the relationships from the novel. But, if you want to read a thicker mythology about the families, read Poison Genius Consort. It builds up pretty sloooooow, but once ML got rid of his indifference (which has reasons) you'll love the book more
I've watched 4 versions so far....Same story line but always my favorite.... 1. The first ver is the original…
Dude, me, too. I haven't watched the Thai version. Although I remember really adoring the original version which I watched when I was still studying, and it was so angsty and I love it. But I've rewatched it again recently and I dunno maybe with the landscape of fast-paced dramas, somehow it was tad bit slow (which I didn't feel before), So now, after rewatching everything and upon this new version my current standing is Chinese=Taiwanese>Korean>>Japanese :)
This version is by far the best because of the updated milieu. Pace was good. Actors were great wee
Steamy kisses. But very light-hearted. Ding Yuxi really made the story stand. His micro-expressions are to die for. ZYX is a cutie but is borderline annoying mostly because of the dubbing but good thing she cute and is an actress so yes.
One of the dramas that I will think about for a long time. So many permutations to happen. So many things to realize. I love every detail that will trigger a lot of possibilities if not questions. A gem of 2019 that I missed because I just watched this. Everybody was saying Alice was awesome in this, and I agree! She has always been a good actress, but let me give credit to Greg. Jesus, Greg was really good in here too. Not just a pretty face, he acted so well! Congrats to the producers, to the writers and the director! <3
This was the first time I knew that Hyung Shik was male lead material hahaha and I thank the heavens the producers have seen that because look at him now
Have you tried Put Your Head on My Shoulder? The main couple is really addicting to watch but beware, the kissing…
true that, i was sorta not interested into looking to his next dramas, too :/ and i kinda think he's not rly much good of an actor, too. he just looks rly good
