I've been wanting to try this one out and finally I am! It's quite fun, esp getting to see the game in full screen! Also, I was hoping there wouldn't be any romance, and whew... I got to learn there isn't which is a relief! I'm more invested in the plot, games, and friendship! I love the actor that plays ML's servant Jun Dai. I also love his character. I JUST watched him in Winter Begonia and adored his character there. At the time, he was only 14 I think. To see him a bit more grown up... Man, kinda proud. xD I love his loyalty to the ML but also the way he jokes (but prob not actually joke) about wanting to be taken with him when he's doing his job bc the awe he has in him for his role as an Imperial Inspector lol.
I also love ML's assistant Lang Zhusheng. I'm so happy that he's on the ML's side and never betrays him (unlike that other one within just a few eps of the drama lmao that was so honestly unexpected to me). That's what a true friend is for (that includes Jun Dai 😉).
But obv I am wary of most characters bc there's just so many betrayals here that it makes me sad.

He frickin' amazed me in Pursuit of Jade. The moment he made his first appearance, I was INTRIGUED (even if his character isn't good) bc woah... he's got the acting skills! That smile, that evil smirk and laugh, that madness in his eyes, but also the tears... He did amazing in bringing his character to life like he's the character himself, bringing out every emotion and expression. I really can't wait to see him now in Mo Li and his other future works!

It makes you question if Qianqian and Qi Min (hated them as a cp in the original story tho) would end up tgt in the end. I can't imagine no more Bao'er tho. It seems Qi Min wouldn't be a terrible person tho. Its cool to see how they all seem to have a pretty good relationship with one another however when they were enemies with Qi Min. But no Yuanqing? I'm really curious what he and his real brother would be like now. I'm sad they missed his character in this final bit, but anyways. Pretty cool alternative. Tho it doesn't change the fact that everything happened. This is more like a parallel universe.
