Yesssss for Xu Zhenxuan you need to watch Fangs of Fortune and Time Raiders (from the popular DMBJ series). Oh, and fun fact! Him and Zuoqiu in this drama are gonna be the closest friends in this one and Zuoqiu here is even cooler hehe~ Since it's a DMBJ series they will be making more seasons for it too with these same actors!
Also look forward to Immortalis where u get to see a fun reunion btw him and the ML in FoF!! He's the complete opposite in FoF, very bright, kind, and positive, and you will fall in love with him :)
I started watching this as it was releasing but eventually put it on hold because I was watching too much peak…
No romance btw them happens. From my view it's clear that Tang Fang likes him tho but not very clear about him. But yeah, I was also hoping for no romance and I'm glad we didn't get any! But I will say she does become more likeable in the end :)
Also, look forward to Chengyi's other character Li Chenzhou and his wife bc even when they don't have a lot of screentime, their chemistry is π₯ that we all want them in another drama as a cp again π«£
Btw WoF fans... let's look forward to not only Shadow Punisher where 5 are reuniting there, but also Liao Zhai bc at least 6 of the cast members are reuniting in that one! ππ«Ά Okay it's kinda surprising how they don't consist of even one same cast member in both actually tho!
Edit: Found out that Sebrina Chen (Xifang Tao) and Yang Shize (Puzhu) are in the same unit in Liao Zhai omg... Also is there a possibility for Jelly Lin (A'Shei) and Sebrina Chen to be friends in this one? π

I don't know my overall. But I really love the opening too, as well as the other battle(?) song by Shin. There's also the Fang Zhou theme song, if that's what it is, since it always plays in his scenes (ζ₯ε£°η’), and the ballad wintery song (εΏ΅ζ°΄θ°£). Maybe these are my top. As you can tell I can't choose one π π
I am really happy to hear that it's a huge success in China! It truly deserves that recognition considering the amount of work they put into this beautiful qork of art! (Still think they could've added more eps to make it even grander than it is already π)
For FoF, it was one of my very first dramas to watch while airing and I didn't see the flaws much when I did bc I was just so into it tbh. I think it's not the greatest plot-wise when I look back at it but it's really good character-wiseβit's more of a character-driven story which I think it did tremendously well in that aspect. They def could've done better in the storytelling aspect tho sskdjksjds but despite that it's still a special drama for me and one of my favorites due to my first watch experience but also the characters hehe.
As for covers, I like to record covers (sing) for some of the OSTs in dramas and have done some in the past but I didn't upload most of them on my YT channel tbh π When I cover a WoF one tho and upload it, I can def share it here so u can take a look? Hehe.
