Agree! There are something things I like and dislike in this adaption, i think Peter Ho acting is just too over the top here, its more annoying than believable then when you pan the camera to Lin yu Shen I am brought into thw story again. I feel is narrative TGN loves NL but initially he just wants her as his trophy. I can't have a feeling that NL will be the one to take TGL life's and she will end ip taking her own for redemption.

That is true. I don't mind a sad ending as long as it makes sense to have it turn out that way, not just for the sake of it is stupid! For example, I don't know if you ever watched TVbs Bottled passion, a good drama with a silly ending that was no nessaary! YEs def the best and my fav version of all time! Even the mystery of the stolen saber by Zhou ZhiRou was played out well. Sheren teng was my fav ZZR! OMG reunion of Adult Wuji his uncles/and Zhang SanFeng was the best and most emotional. But I must say the reunion of Yang Xiao and his daughter is best in the 2017 version. Lol
