As we know since the beginning she is a flawed character. This drama is about her growth story. She's the type of person who likes to repay/give back whatever she receives like kindness with kindness. So whatever she did to crown prince/princess was out of kindness. You can see how she has a Deep sense of attachment towards the Empress. Its actually the crown princess who used her as she knows no-one can tame ZiSheng except SS n not to mention that Crown prince is an incredibly foolish person who always favours the family over others N LBY also didn't open up to her only told her don't do this/that. She's not the kind of girl who will obey/ do whatever she's being told to.
